Despite being listed as dog friendly resort and booked as a service dog friendly room we were asked to leave cause \"other people have allergies \" . My service dog is clean well groomed ,Very well trained and pleasant manored, not destuctive or a barker .
I just wanna be clear there were absolutely zero issues , We awoke to a knock on the door at 9:30 am by Remesh
after a late check in the night earlier )saying we should have never been checked in by his employee . He had no concern we were 600 miles from home and still had 2 days left on our trip and made us leave . He did not even issue my card a refund ,claiming i can \" get it back from expedia \" .

The property is very outdated. Room smelled like pee. No Iron or board in the room. The free breakfast is a joke. If you want clean towels you have to go to front desk. The microwave & fridge is very old. I would never stay here ever again or recommend it. The price is way too high for this property.

Found a bottle of KY jelly moving a piece of furniture while trying to plug in my gaming system, also there was blood stains on the curtain. Moved hotels asap because I was In town visiting my son and I didn’t want him staying at a place like this. Definitely one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. When Informed the people working/living there they got rude. No apology, no sorry. 1/10 rating

I stayed here by myself - which can always be a little nerve wracking as a woman. The staff was very friendly when I arrived and even helped me with the vending machine that was being a little finicky. My room was clean and the features worked fine - AC, mini fridge, water, toilet, etc. It was completely quiet during my stay with no sketchy people staying near me - I'm not even sure if anyone else was even on my floor, which was a nice change of place from other locations I've stayed at before. Check out was quick and easy too.

Would not recommend this particular hotel. The location was okay and I did not have a choice since hotels in the area were all booked. The A/C was extremely noisy and sounded like it was falling apart. They installed a small metal shelf between the beds to plug in a cell phone, but it was not installed correctly and was very small. They needed to have a \"real\" table between the beds.

The front desk area makes you feel unsafe. Its like the staff is affraid of the neighborhood. The rooms smell terribly of smoke. Even though we were supposedly in a non smoking room. We got a room for 4 ppl and there were only two sets of everything and then they told us to come down to get additional towels. Just not a good hotel.

Overall, very unhappy. From the \"weekly room rental\" advertised on their sign to the bulletproof glass the clerk sits behind, this location is awful. This is more of a no-tell-motel if that's what you're looking for. There was someone hanging out in a third floor window at all hours, watching everyone who walked in and out. The entire place smells like weed, try explaining that to young kids. The road is very busy and loud, even at night, don't expect to get much sleep. The beds were hard, the floors & bathroom were filthy, the curtain didn't cover the whole window & the extra pillows we were given had cases on them that looked like they were \"last resort\" pillowcases in someone's lake house basement. 10/10 AVOID IT!

Looks like it once was included, likely changed during covid.

Smells smells smells

The absolute only good thing about this hotel was the staff was friendly. That's it. I read the reviews, I knew what to expect and it was worse than expected. As soon as you walk in it REEKS of weed. So so strong. I made my daughter put a mask on because it smelled so bad. I was informed that smoking was allowed on the 3rd floor and I was staying on the 2nd floor. Fine. The second floor reeked like cigarettes. The room itself was old and dated. We stripped the bed brought our own blankets but I could still smell smoke in the room/bedding. They clearly don't wash them separately (or often??) I sprayed every inch of our room with disinfectant spray and it made it a tiny bit tolerable. No one wanted to use the shower. We were there for a weekend for a sporting tournament and we absolutely only stayed in the room for 8 hours a night to sleep. We stayed out of the room as much as possible while in Delaware. This was literally the only hotel with vacancy I could find in the area for the weekend so I expected ALL of this. Making the entire hotel non smoking may help. The weed smell is so so bad. There was a mix of shady characters and sports parents staying there. I didn't see any coffee/breakfast in the morning but we left early both days of our stay and truthfully I would not have taken it anyway.

My perfect 2 day stay

I just needed to finish a project and needed a solitary place to do it. Didn't necessarily want a fancy place, just quiet and clean. My room was cozy, VERY clean . The deskclerk even put me right near the refreshment machines and the ice machine. Im older, so l basically checked in and in a few steps was in my room. Perfect. I stayed 2 nights.

The most disgusting hotel I’ve ever experienced

I urge anyone reading this to stay far away from this hotel. The pictures online looked decent and it was $180 per night so I figured I was going to get something that was decent. I pulled in on a Friday night and was supposed to stay three nights and leave Monday morning. There were only three or four cars in the parking lot so on a Friday night, that is not a good sign. I walked in and through my mask I smelled a mixture of vomit and spaghetti. It was very dark and dingy and you immediately had a bad feeling about this place.

The front desk will tell you it is $100 deposit for a non-smoking room. They ended up waving this but four or five times pleaded with me not to smoke… I do not smoke that is why I wanted a non-smoking room. I told them that repeatedly but they kept asking that I not smoke in the room which was odd.

Now onto the really bad. Arriving in my room, I discovered the AC was not on and the room was hot and musty and smelled terrible. The bathroom ceiling was caving in and the shower did not drain which was gross. Upon waking the next morning, I noticed stains, someone else’s hair, bedbugs, and broken glass! In my bed. I was already upset but this threw me over the edge. It was absolutely disgusting and I did not feel comfortable whatsoever staying here.
Do not stay here.
Hotels.com did refund me for the two nights i didn’t stay there but the hotel would not refund me for the Friday night i did stay, which I think they should have.

We had driven 8 hours on our way to vacation. This was a stop after a day in the car. The hotel smelled like cigarettes and weed. And the room above us sounded like a marathon was being run at 3:00 a.m. \"Luckily\" there was a Hooters across the street we could take our son to for dinner. ;(

Terrible hotel and staff. There were people doing drugs and high running in and out of the hotel while we were checking in with our two young children. They required $100 dollars in cash to be held on top of the payment we made online. The first room they gave us the smoke detector kept going off and they couldn’t fix it. The man came in to fix it. Stood in the room with his mask down to listen for the beeping then took his shoes off to climb on a chair to change the battery. However it still kept beeping so they moved us to a new room. The second room the air conditioner didn’t work and one of the lamps kept flickering on and off. We asked for a fan and they didn’t have anything instead they offered to teach us how to use a simple air conditioner. It was truly offensive. Finally they offered us a refund and we left. While returning my key to get my $100 dollar cash deposit a man was checking in with a huge knife on his belt buckle. I still have to call hotels.com to get a refund that the owners said they “released”. It was horrible.

The rooms were clean and felt newly renovated. However the lobby and common areas had an intense smoke smell. The hotel manger said it was due to smoking rooms above lobby. It was pretty bad we had to hold our breath as we walked through. their policy is no refunds and pay upfront. Luckily our room didn’t smell. But we would have walked out if availability of local hotels wasn’t an issue.

Room was warm so I turned on the ac. It worked but the longer it was on, the louder it got. Fitful nights sleep as a result.
Comforter was filthy. Very stained.
Airlines have bigger, more comfortable pillows and the bed itself was not comfortable.
I spoke with mgmt in the morning and all issues were addressed. Mgmt was attentive to my complaints. They actually replace the entire AC unit and put a brand new comforter on the bed and provided 1 larger pillow.
Still, I would not stay here again.

It was ok....There were 2 very, very small pillows on the bed....They looked ridiculous bc they were soooo small, and I had a neck ache in the morning.....The remote for the tv didn't work unless you stood 6\" from the tv....We couldn't turn the tv off when we left the room for check out....Breakfast was over at 9 (I went down) on a Sat...and it looked like it had been pretty skimpy anyway.....It sounded like someone was throwing bowling balls on the floor above our heads at 2:30 am... But, it was cheap...and safe.....

Overall ok for a place to sleep after a long drive, but this is an older Super 8 and a little rough around the edges with a lobby that feels unfriendly late at night. If you're weighing options nearby, Super 8 Pennsville NJ is new and cleaner with a more welcoming lobby, and is only about 10-15 min away.
