After entering the room after a trip from va. The room had a mildew odor but front stats they are going thru renovations. Its posted if u stay m- f u may not have water throughout your stay. Ice bucket was provided with no cups. Refrigerator has so much ice built up in the freezer section you couldn't put even a drink in it . Shower had yellow stain in soap holder. The staff was amazing so this is a hard review to write, however the condition of the room cannot be ignored. We were pleasantly surprised by the new makeover the room had received. It looked inviting. However, we quickly noticed the only lights in the room were in the bathroom or next to the beds, so we had to move in the darkness to get to the lights. Small thing, not a huge deal. But then I went to take a shower and the water came out orange and smelled like rust. I just ran the water for about 20 minutes and it seemed to clear up but still not great. Then, and this was by far the worst part, the flies started appearing! Small, black, triangular flies that just kept coming back. Seriously, as quickly as we'd kill one, 2 more would appear. And when I let the front desk know, they blamed us and accused us of leaving our room door open. Lastly, after a night of struggling to get sleep due to the flies, the housekeepers started cleaning the room next to ours pretty early, and we only know this because the mop was repeatedly slammed into the wall where our headboard was. So we managed to get about an hour or 2 of sleep altogether. It was just too many things at one time and being blown off about the poor experience didn’t leave me feeling satisfied as a customer. We used to regularly visit this location as a date night escape from home but sadly, I don't think we will be returning after this experience.

The room was “remodeled” and clean. So was the bathroom but the work was very shoddy and user needs and convenience was not considered. Construction debris was throughout the parking lot. And finally, upon arrival, I was asked to give a $100 deposit which I was unaware of, and I had paid for the room, in full almost a month in advance.

The room I stayed in was newly renovated but the area is loud off a main road. Many cars wanting to rev their engines through the parking lot and main roadway until late at night. The room had no samples of shampoo/conditioner, just small bar soap and wash cloths, towels, etc. it was very basic but I just needed a bed to sleep in so it was ok at best. No breakfast offerings at all so be prepared if you stay there especially as a family.

Why people Hilton or another expensive hotel when you get the same experience at Motel 6 and even better for my experience with Fairfield Inn was the worst I had in history the bed was not even soft as Motel 6 the pillows were like old pillows you need to throw away and when I lay down for not even a good hour my back was hurting me so why go through that when I can stay at Motel 6 quiet comfortable enjoyable shoppable and nothing to worry about safe and easy

I liked the people who worked there. They were nice. The room was clean. The furniture was a little outdated and things needed some work on it. They are doing work on updating things and fixing it up. I loved that it was animal friendly witch was very helpful and convenient. I wish they had some kind of breakfast. But it was a good stay.

People should be aware of a few things.

1) The property is currently undergoing renovations and is not in great condition.

2) The bed felt like a plank of wood but it actually didn't feel too bad after a full day of travel.

3) There were no plugs close to the beds. The one outlet that was in cord length distance had holes too big for the phone charger.

4) The staff is friendly. No issues with the staff.

5) There was a fly in my room, no comforter on the bed and the tub was all beat up. Walls were multiple colors. Felt institutional.

6) I think this Motel 6 will be much better for travelers again when they complete their renovations. It's not terrible it's just not all that great right now.

I stayed for 2 nights and the first thing I noticed was that my door didn’t fully close. It was a scary thought! On top of people knocking on my door in the middle of the night several times. Then there were a bunch of gnats and flies that kept biting me while at the hotel room. Lastly in order for me to flush my toilet and it fully have everything go down it I had to flush it 2-3 times and at one point it wouldn’t flush at all so i had to borrow a plunger from a friend so I could flush my toilet. The staff was nice though

Property is pretty dirty. We had a half eaten piece of pizza and a jolly rancher under the nightstand that was being consumed by ants. Tons of hand prints on the wall and the bathroom was so dirty that my daughter didn’t want to use it. There was also a chronic smell of marijuana during the entire stay.

It was not a very good stay. Lots of loud people, slamming of doors. The hallways wreaked of weed, needed to be vacuumed, windows were filthy. Our room was actually decent, which is one of the reasons we stayed. When we were leaving I read a small sign on the building that says quiet time is between 11pm-7am, which was never enforced. We were woken up at 10:00, 11:30, and 2am. We will never stay there again and we do not recommend anyone else stay there.
