RUN!! I recommend NOT booking a room at this place. I spoke to other guests who feel the same way. I booked a room due to budget constraints. First, I booked this hotel years ago, and another owned by the same people, which is located up the street. That hotel is called Empire. Unfortunately, in my rush to book a hotel before my trip, I had forgotten my bad experiences with this management company years ago, until a feeling of dread came over me when I realized the mistake this time around.

First, it feels like the Front Desk Clerk might be the only one who works there. I did not see anyone else but the maids during every shift, both times I was a guest. To make matters worse, he is a NASTY, rude person with no warmth whatsoever and totally lacking in adequate customer service skills. Also, the customer service desk is mostly vacant, and you have to ring the bell repeatedly. When I asked him to fix the TV he said "he wasn't working now" and would call later. He never did.

This time around, the television set did not work; there was no overhead lighting, only dim light from the dingy, decrepit lamps; and a tenant told me to avoid the unsanitary ice machine.

At the Empire, the woman who owns both properties is NASTY, hot-tempered, and she began screaming at me for criticizing their bad customer service. She told me to get out and never come back, and slammed the door. After the incident, I read a review from another customer complaining of her temper. AVOID THIS PLACE!!

It’s the cheapest place around for a reason. If u don’t mind ignorant staff, dirty rooms and bugs then this is the place for you! Don’t recommend going there if you have a guest. Be prepared to be uncomfortable checking in and having to sign your life away just to get in the door. And be careful bc like the manager said the price can change any time even after you’ve already checked in which is something I’ve never ever seen before ever in my life until I stayed there. Your better off just sleeping in your car

After I checked in the guy called me 7 hours later and told me I needed to give me another $20 cash or he would call the cops and I wouldn’t be refunded. Then he told me the price can change any time and they can pretty much charge me whatever they wanted. And I have the conversation recorded for anyone who wants to hear it. Never in my life has this ever happened. He heard me talking crap about the place to someone and then hustled me for more money and I have no idea how that’s even legal.

The staff is horrible and the room is disgusting. They should hire someone who at least has a high school education and a personality. The dudes a creep and very disrespectful. Mold in the dressers, food dripped all over the floor that wasn’t cleans and a bar of soap from who knows when. Microwaved smelled , freezer was broken and people were asking for there money back the second I checked in. If you need help making the place better with someone who can actually fix the place lmk and I’ll get you someone.

Cannot check in before 3pm which is very inconvenient. When you do, check-in takes way too long.
Property is run down, rooms have stains, holes in walls and ceilings, etc. Chain on the room door had been torn out.
However, for the price it probably is one of the better places to stay for a quickly. Beds are comfortable.

The manage/owner is unprofessional and unpleasant and I was falsely charged for smoking in a non-smoking room. The TV would not turn on. The room smelled badly. The water would not get hot. I was rushed out and harassed at check out. This hotel should be avoided by everyone and be closed for business. Tell everyone you know that comes to the area to book anywhere else!

The place is disgusting I left them a bad review bc the manager is horrible and threatening to kick me out without refund if I didn’t give him another $20 7 hours after I already checked in(I honestly thought he was just trying to scam me) . I forgot I left the review and the next time I booked a room there he harassed me over the review and told me if I don’t like the place then don’t book it and he don’t know why I’m there etc. long story short he’s horrible and said the price can change any time and he makes everyone show id to get in the room and if you do the just threatens to call the cops over and over again and will keep your money. Extremely unprofessional and he needs a class on customer service (it wouldn’t help someone like him anyway but he still needs it to see how normal people interact outside of his hole in the wall he stays in). And hotels don’t delete this review because it’s all true and you can check the conversations with your staff that gave me credits bc how horrible he was towards me) if u plan on having a guest over I wouldn’t recommend going there bc they probably won’t even let them in the room smfh I don’t think I’ve ever had a positive experience there and I’ve stayed there a bunch of times throughout my life and it was always the same miserable big dude that can barely walk sitting there eating fast food and don’t even wash his hands before helping you

Place is gross!!’ The property is not maintained. Everything is dirty. The shower head doesn’t work properly. Most likely drug users took the screen out. TV is the impossible. No WIFI. No coffee. The noises throughout the night were beyond disturbing.
I had an appointment and was an late checking out. It was 11:44 and Ali kept $40 of my $100 cash deposit.
I realized I left something in the microwave and went back to be told it was thrown away( in 5 minutes) then left, got a block away remembering my bible and phonebook were in the nightstand drawer. I returned and asked Ali if I could get them. He threatened to call police for tresspassing. The next day I got a call from a man who checked into that room. He found my stuff and went through everything opening envelopes, reading personal information. He met with me to return them to me.
Not worth the price.

I’ve stayed in some dumps before to save money, but this trash heap takes the cake. This place is a hole. Period. Sleep in your car but don’t stay here. I haven’t stopped itching since I left. There were two lamps in the entire place. I couldn’t even see until the sun came up. You’ll regret it if you go here. And the manager is beyond rude. Horrible.

Horrible place to stay….walked in the heater was very dusty like a could have created a dust ball … only 1 roll of toilet paper which was a small one … walls were very dirty I was disgusted… I almost walked out but already booked and paid … usually hotels give couple towels … only got 2 small ones the pictures they have on the ad are not what it seems … never will be coming here the walls outside needs to be power washed

I was completely shocked at the condition of the room assigned to us. It was so bad, we left and checked into another hotel. The room was dirty, smelled horrible, the microwave was not clean and burned up inside. The bed linen and carpet had huge stains all over. We spent all of 5 minutes inside the room then left. I had a bad feeling prior to booking but hoped for the best. I do not recommend this dump!!! Beware!

Good affordable place to stay. Convenient location.

Pros- affordable, lots of dining options nearby, comfortable beds, friendly staff, cash deposit(no holds on credit/debit card)

Cons- some traffic noise, no coffee maker in room, could use new pillows on beds.

Overall a decent place. My go to when I'm in the area and just need a place to sleep and shower.

The room did not have shelves or closet rod to hang clothes we had to lay all the clothes around the tables and chairs, so they won’t get wrinkle and no ironing board or iron and no coffee maker for the mornings which every hotel has at least a coffee maker. No toilet paper holder we have to lay the toilet paper on the floor when we use the toilet.

The room was so filthy I didn’t even stay I drove back 4 hours to go home. Everything from the walls to the shower curtain to the mattress was disgusting. The rug was so old and nasty. Shower curtain was old, dirty brown and moldy. I didn’t even want to sit down anywhere . The blanket also had burn marks, like seriously. It also smelled horribly there, my goodness. Never ever again will I ever stay there or recommend anyone staying there. You might catch something if you stay there so if you’ve been there, better check yourself.

The pictures are definitely a cash fish. We walked into our room and it was absolutely disgusting. The smoke smell is so horrid. Stains all over the place, floor, walls, beds, shower curtain. One outlet worked. One light worked. One of the head boards were hangin on by a thread. The fridge was so rusty and gross. We got basically two hand towels to shower with a family of 4… the ceiling in the bathroom above shower is completely rotted out and could’ve collapsed at any minute. The tub and toilet was disgusting.

front desk staff was very nice, but the state of the room was very atrocious. clothes from precvious consumers were found, floor wasnt vacuumed, no toilet paper nor soap, ashes and tobacco in the corner of the rooms. but bed was made and sheets and blankets were clean. over all, 2 out of 5. if it wasnt -4 degrees i wouldve requested a refund and went somewhere else.

It's very nice for a dump. The bathroom had a moldy drop ceiling, which made me uncomfortable. The lighting is poor and there aren't outlets close to the bed. But what do you expect for a $300 weekly rate? There was a surprise $100 cash deposit required, too.

Otherwise, it was comfortable and in a great location. The managers were professional. I would stay again.

My room was in terrible condition. First the tattered and ripped, yellow stained, filthy, curtain, barely blocked the view of the outdated, broken furniture, smoke stained walls, and TV that barely worked on 1 channel. The bathroom, and jacuzzi tub were disgusting with curly black hairs stuck on shower walls and sink. Then there was jacuzzi water that was cloudy and foamed while hardened white chunks of unknow origin floated on top.. Thank god 2 of the lamps didn't even work, or it may have resulted in a more negative review. Don't let the decently kept exterior fool you into thinking this roach motel isn't actually a true bio-hazard. They have nerve to charge money to even stay here.

The app was messed up when I made my reservation and my booking was made in three separate bookings. The days that the booking ended/started I was made to either leave the hotel until 3pm for check in or pay more than the cost for one night for an early check in. I found this to be complete BS customer service. The wifi didn't work the entire stay either and when asked for assistance with it only received the response of "there's nothing I can do for you".

I don’t usually write reviews. I’m a “sigh, move on with life” kind of person. But this experience was so aggressively awful that it feels irresponsible not to warn other humans.
Because I booked online—and extended my stay online—the manager decided the appropriate response was to force me and my two children out into 20-degree weather with wind gusts up to 25 mph. No lobby. No grace period. No humanity. Just “pay $75 for early check-in or get out and come back at 4 p.m.”
Important context:
• I had already been there three days
• I had already paid an early check-in fee once
• I had one more night fully booked and paid for
• I had no car to even sit in because mine was in the shop
So there we were—me and my two kids—literally nowhere to go, being told to stand outside like we were misbehaving pets.
When I wasn’t out within the hour, the manager escalated to calling the police. The officers were professional and kind, but at that point the manager refused my booking entirely and had us removed. Over a technicality. Over $75. Over absolutely nothing that justified this level of cruelty.
I was genuinely shocked. Not angry-shocked—humanity-still-exists, right? shocked. The lack of empathy was breathtaking. The power trip was obvious. The experience was humiliating.

Front office accused menif stealing towels and a blanket when ON CAMERA, they have my wife placijg our dirty linens in the shopping cart they told me to put it in under the stairs with the rest of the dirty laundry from the hotel. This was after he already gave me back my cash deposit. He then tried charging my credit card 6 times. 150.125.100.75.50.25 each transaction. He then proceeded to tell me he didnt care about rhe cameras and i was in the wrong snd he will continue to charge my card for weeks on end until he gets paid.

room was absolutely disgusting , the room wreaked of stale cigarettes , there were stains on the walls , cigarette holes in the sheets , writing on the walls , the shower curtain was dirty & smelled. the floors was stained. when we asked for a room change the guy at the desk brushed us off & told us it wasn’t his concern. i then asked for a refund he told me i wasn’t getting one. when i called expedia for help they reached out to him & he was dismissive to them as well. i originally booked for 2 days but after seeing the condition of the room i asked for a partial refund , we arrived around 12am so there was no where else to go for the night so i asked if i could pay for one night . long story short i’m never booking here again .

The place is dirty and run down. Weird reception area that is always locked. You have to ring a doorbell and wait for someone to electronically unlock it. Check in person is locked up behind a window with only the tiniest slot to push your ID through. I could barely hear the guy behind the window. The place is in need of a major renovation. It was cheap and I guess you get what you pay for. Never again.
