Suite is cleaned plus stocked with everything you need down to the dishes. They provide pots and pans along with dishwasher items. If you guys don’t book your missing out!. It’s very clean you won’t be disappointed at all… and it’s very quiet so quiet I was looking for other people to even say good morning to lol. Book with them you’re going to love it. 10 stars⭐️⭐️

Not welcoming the place looks so depressing took my kids for winter recess break, and we were all ready to get out of there. The room drapes and chairs all stained up, and chairs wobbly. The shower water backing up in the tub. Stairs to go up to second floor outside was all cracked and unsafe. Also inside the room was not thoroughly cleaned rails felt so filthy to go up to loft there was items left from previous occupants. I will not return to this location this is my second location i have visited and it’s the same nonsense again with the tub they need to get that straightened out asap. There was an old dirty mattress leaned up in the window of the first floor just sitting there while walking to our room

On 2/13, I stayed at the Sonesta Select Newark and had a very upsetting experience. The hotel staff assumed I was hosting a party simply because my friends came to the property to obtain a parking pass. Without any valid reason, they made that assumption and decided to put me out of the hotel. What makes the situation worse is that they collected my friends’ money for a parking pass and then immediately told us we had to leave, refusing to issue a refund after denying us the ability to stay. The entire situation was handled unfairly and unprofessionally, and I will be contacting corporate to formally escalate this matter.

The room was ok, but the people next to me had a dog that barked and barked, which annoyed me because I couldn’t sleep for work, I worked night shift, I really think dogs shouldn’t be allowed because people rent rooms that don’t have dogs, the rooms smell like dogs, dog hair be all over, and the carpets stink, and I was charged for parking, which don’t make sense, I will never ever come back there again

The room was clean but the heater was ungodly noisy, the toilet ran constantly and there was so much light coming in around the \"blackout\" curtains you could almost read a book with the lights out. When I went to get some coffee Monday morning after light to moderate snow fell all weekend there was ice everywhere. It was very dangerous getting around and it appeared no one had done anything to remove the snow or ice.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The lady at check-in was ok but that's where the positives end. The room was FILTHY! I don't think they clean the room just make the beds. You can literally see the dirt and dust on the walls pus we found items like balloons and toys from the previous guest. Neither bathroom was fully stocked. They don't come get the trash or swap out towels at the door. Breakfast was free and honestly, they should pay you to eat it. The hours are early. We were down there close to 9am and the kitchen put out \"fresh food\" which included tater tots so I grabbed them thinking safe bet. As we left, I heard the staff complaining because they plan on eating the better options when the guests leave. They also have extra charges for parking but they are not in a prime location and have their own parking lot. It doesn't make sense. Avoid at all costs, it's not worth being surrounded by filth and the endless cigarette buds outside.

We spent 10days here and at first sight of the suite it was beautiful. However the 3rd day in this suite we saw roaches. The bath towels were dirty in downstairs bathroom and all the pots and pans and coffee pot and toaster was very dirty and greasy feeling. I was not comfortable!!!!! The units/Suites needs a lot of work done to them. Got moved to another Suite and this time didn’t see any roaches but when we’d open the fridge the strip would fall off. No water pressure and the cabinet under the kitchen sink was rotten. No carts to load your bags on to go to your suite. And the parking is far away. You might get lucky to find a spot. There was 3 washers but only one worked. But the front desk area was very very beautiful!!!!!!! And the breakfast was phenomenal. You can only get coffee during the hours that breakfast was served.

Great place to stay while visiting friends and family in the area. I liked that it was an apartment with separate rooms instead of the standard hotel room. We had a large dog and he didn’t bark at all because we didn’t hear any noises. Decent options for breakfast. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful.

The unit was dirty including water stains on the ceiling that was still leaking and multiple parts of the carpet that was both stained and wet in places. There was mold around the shower to the point we did not use use. My travel companion experienced multiple episodes of coughing and asthmatic symptoms from the AC and fan. Additionally, there was a extremely loud noise every 1-2 hours from an electrical unit outside with no sleeping to be had. Lastly the coffee in the morning had been used and not replenished. We just abruptly left as it was a terrible place to be. Honestly, in all my years if travel, this place ranks as one of the worst.

Overall, I was very pleased with the ES Sonesta in Newark DE. The suite was large and comfortable. Everything was in good condition. The kitchen is fully appointed. Grounds were well maintained. Staff was friendly & helpful. Breakfast was pretty good. I don't trust the pancake making machine because I don't know what the ingredients are, it's probably full oif really unhealthy stuff. And there was nothing provided to recycle cans or plastic bottles. But everything else was excellent.

The kitchen floor was sticky, furniture was worn out and had to sit on pillows and other cushions to get off of it. Outside there were cigarette butts and other trash on the stairs. Grossest hotel I’ve stayed at in 30 years. The floors were greasy and the countertops and tables had grime. We wiped one paper towel across the surface and it came out brown. The only saving grace was the sheets were clean. I will not stay at this hotel again. You would expect more for the price they charged.

Staff was friendly. The room with handicap accommodations was set up like I needed, grab bars exactly where they need to be in the bathroom. Other popular hotels I've stayed in do not meet my needs. The room did smell like cigarettes and the walls and doors were not very clean. I had to wash down the hand prints and spray with Lysol to get rid of the smell. The kitchen cabinets could use some TLC. It was sufficient for my 3 night stay, I spent most of my time visiting family.

Wonderful stay. Pool was nice and clean, patio was well kept. The room was clean. We did prewash our dishes before use and the only complaint is the limited bedding. My son slept sleep on the couch and was not permitted a comforter, only an extra sheet which did not help do much against the cold of the leather couch and and room temp.
