This hotel houses a lot of people who smoke weed and are extremely loud. The rooms are filthy, the refrigerator was disgusting a drawer was missing and it had not been cleaned. The sheets and pillow cases were so stained with dark brown and reddish stains covered in fuzz with strands of hair. The downstairs shower head was almost broken off and just dangling. Both tubs walls were cracked. The pancake machine broke the 2nd day because they ran out of pancake batter. The only positive was they had plant based sausages in the morning. The rooms smell like marijuana with that skunk like odor. Guests smoking weed at 9am. The smell of marijuana was so strong in our room it was overpowering. I called Expedia and they called the hotel and the hotel said they would give us another room but when we went to be moved to another room the person at the front desk said they were completely full and had no other rooms. They charge a $300 deposit and make you sign a contract that says you won’t throw parties so that was the first bad sign. None of the pictures on Expedia are representative of what this place really looks like, the filth is layered from the floors, walls, cabinets, the beds, all the bedding is brownish with set in stains. Nothing about this place is inviting or nice. I have never seen such a dirty filthy hotel. They also offer no housekeeping during your stay.

First room was completely dirty stain on the couch dirt on the floors as it wasn’t vacuumed at all. The pillows and blankets on the bed had small stains on them and kitchen utensils were not clean properly. called the front desk and asked to be moved to a different cleaner room upon that room was a little better then the first even tho there was still minor issues with cleanliness as well

Breakfast was ok but the room, which was an “upgrade” because the smaller room we booked wasn’t available, was subpar. Dirty walls, holes in curtains, dirty tub and shower curtain, filthy rug with many stains, worn and soiled furniture, dingy bed linens, dirty dishes in cabinets, and an all day and night pot smoker parked outside our door. Steer clear of this property.

Very affordable for 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom place. It is certainly not a 4 star place but the beds are awesome! You rarely see this level hotel care about bed quality. I am in the hospitality industry so I am pickier than most on beds. Stayed here twice for my son who attends Udel. Still 15-20 mins from campus but good enough.

I booked this hotel through Expedia for one night stayed (thank goodness stayed only for one night). The cabinet in the kitchen were very old (afraid to touch it), the kitchen floor were sticky ( doesn't look like has been cleaned), the pillows were OLD and UNCOMFORTABLE to sleep, was up the whole night. Most importantly, the room smells terrible, I used the entire can of air freshener to spay each room, still can not get rid of the smell, couldn't breathe. We ended up leaving the hotel very early. When I searched the hotel through Expedia and saw pictures of this hotel, the pictures made this hotel seem so nice. But, not knowing we got such bad experience. Guess pictures don't say thousand words until you experience.

The room we booked was sold out so they upgraded us. The tv was not a smart tv even though we stayed here before in a regular room and that tv was smart. The bathrooms were ok clean wise, but there were fake eyelashes in the one tub which showed it was not properly cleaned or cleaned at all. Some of the dishes didn’t seem clean either. The staff was very nice!

Breakfast was great! The room was nice like a studio apartment with beds that were so comfy! I was caught off guard with having to pay for parking but since i stayed for 2 days it was only 10 bucks. It does require a $100 deposit that i wasnt expecting but its alright you get it back. Staff was very nice and helpful during our entire stay!

This is a sad place to be. I was lost finding my way to the assigned room given the apartment style facility and had to ask for a map. A direct sidewalk to my suite was not accessible.
Although clean, the pillows were clumps of wanting to be more and there were pronounced stains on the carpet.
I travel frequently and was looking for an affordable place to rest for a nite.
This was not a pleasant option.

Room was about a 5 1/2 lady at the office name ms Parker I think, she has a very very nasty additude. The overnight guy was very very nice he was the reason I stayed there. Once 7am shift change came the lady that works that shift she is so mean she told me she makes any reason up to take customers deposits. Other then that everything else was a 3 star. House keeping ladies gives bad looks and never speak only one lady she was so sweet.

Great landscaping and breakfast! Though tidy, the room was a little dirty, some grossness. Pizza boxes left in the oven. Mouse droppings under kitchen sink. Walls and laminated menu with splattered gunk. Carpet badly stained in places. One of the lamps had a shade hanging on barely. Looked like someone had quite a party! Great spaces and potential, but need to get a handle on cleanliness.

Room was gross and was told that they don’t have house keeping in the weekends and only was about to do something about providing new clean sheets. Stains all over the place, notable dirt and grime all over shower. Wiped things down with Lysol wipes and they turned black with dirt.

The pool was outdoors and unopened so it was not available for use. The grounds were neat and tidy. The facilities are old and dated.The buildings need a lot of maintenance especially doors and windows.
After reserving a king bed suite I was downgraded to a two queen room mini suite. I was told there were no more king suites available. The stove in my suite was dirty and required cleaning. Other than that the unit was clean. Housekeeping or staff never checked in to see if I required anything during my stay. The room phone wasn't functional making it difficult to report noise or request any services. The upstairs neighbors during my stay had young children jumping off furniture and running wild until 1:00 AM. Front desk staff were friendly enough asked if I was traveling with my pet. I was aware of a $75 pet fee. I was not aware of parking charges at $5/day. Upon checkout I was told I was all settled up only to get a $85.23 charge on my credit card.

Suite is cleaned plus stocked with everything you need down to the dishes. They provide pots and pans along with dishwasher items. If you guys don’t book your missing out!. It’s very clean you won’t be disappointed at all… and it’s very quiet so quiet I was looking for other people to even say good morning to lol. Book with them you’re going to love it. 10 stars⭐️⭐️

Not welcoming the place looks so depressing took my kids for winter recess break, and we were all ready to get out of there. The room drapes and chairs all stained up, and chairs wobbly. The shower water backing up in the tub. Stairs to go up to second floor outside was all cracked and unsafe. Also inside the room was not thoroughly cleaned rails felt so filthy to go up to loft there was items left from previous occupants. I will not return to this location this is my second location i have visited and it’s the same nonsense again with the tub they need to get that straightened out asap. There was an old dirty mattress leaned up in the window of the first floor just sitting there while walking to our room

On 2/13, I stayed at the Sonesta Select Newark and had a very upsetting experience. The hotel staff assumed I was hosting a party simply because my friends came to the property to obtain a parking pass. Without any valid reason, they made that assumption and decided to put me out of the hotel. What makes the situation worse is that they collected my friends’ money for a parking pass and then immediately told us we had to leave, refusing to issue a refund after denying us the ability to stay. The entire situation was handled unfairly and unprofessionally, and I will be contacting corporate to formally escalate this matter.

The room was ok, but the people next to me had a dog that barked and barked, which annoyed me because I couldn’t sleep for work, I worked night shift, I really think dogs shouldn’t be allowed because people rent rooms that don’t have dogs, the rooms smell like dogs, dog hair be all over, and the carpets stink, and I was charged for parking, which don’t make sense, I will never ever come back there again

The room was clean but the heater was ungodly noisy, the toilet ran constantly and there was so much light coming in around the \"blackout\" curtains you could almost read a book with the lights out. When I went to get some coffee Monday morning after light to moderate snow fell all weekend there was ice everywhere. It was very dangerous getting around and it appeared no one had done anything to remove the snow or ice.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The lady at check-in was ok but that's where the positives end. The room was FILTHY! I don't think they clean the room just make the beds. You can literally see the dirt and dust on the walls pus we found items like balloons and toys from the previous guest. Neither bathroom was fully stocked. They don't come get the trash or swap out towels at the door. Breakfast was free and honestly, they should pay you to eat it. The hours are early. We were down there close to 9am and the kitchen put out \"fresh food\" which included tater tots so I grabbed them thinking safe bet. As we left, I heard the staff complaining because they plan on eating the better options when the guests leave. They also have extra charges for parking but they are not in a prime location and have their own parking lot. It doesn't make sense. Avoid at all costs, it's not worth being surrounded by filth and the endless cigarette buds outside.

We spent 10days here and at first sight of the suite it was beautiful. However the 3rd day in this suite we saw roaches. The bath towels were dirty in downstairs bathroom and all the pots and pans and coffee pot and toaster was very dirty and greasy feeling. I was not comfortable!!!!! The units/Suites needs a lot of work done to them. Got moved to another Suite and this time didn’t see any roaches but when we’d open the fridge the strip would fall off. No water pressure and the cabinet under the kitchen sink was rotten. No carts to load your bags on to go to your suite. And the parking is far away. You might get lucky to find a spot. There was 3 washers but only one worked. But the front desk area was very very beautiful!!!!!!! And the breakfast was phenomenal. You can only get coffee during the hours that breakfast was served.

The room had an unpleasant odor of cigarette smoke, a blood stain on the rug in the bathroom and sink area, and hair from a previous guest on the shower walls. I had anticipated a similar experience to the ES Suites in Parsippany, NJ, as that location has consistently received high ratings.
