In Elkton, MD. I traveled from Tennessee to Maryland for my Best Friend’s wedding and selected this location due to it being fairly close to the wedding venue. The only complaint I have is the AC unit didn’t seem to be working properly. I had the temperature set at 65, and woke up at 3:30am soaked in sweat.

First time staying at the Holiday Inn Express after trying two other hotels in the are when visiting family. Pleasantly surprised with the staff, cleanliness and size of the rooms and the accommodations. Ample parking, free breakfast and a pool. They had Dove toiletries and a hairdryer. The only thing missing wouldve been a coffee maker but the hotel offers tea/coffee for your convenience on the mainfloor at any time. Worth the visit.

Our room is 97 degrees! We called the front desk and they didn’t know how to fix the issue. We are getting sick and very dizzy from the excessive amount of heat. Help!

This was a date night for my husband and I. We get one night out every once in a while. We booked at this location after reading such good reviews. We checked in no problems and the associates were all very nice. Went into the room and it smelled horrible of paint. Room was clean no problem there. When the room was booked it was to have the king size bed and the sofa with the bed. There was no sofa. Not enough light. Would have helped to have a lamp or something where the table was. Then to top it off in the morning the workers were pounding and banging doing whatever construction the hotel has going on. Now I can appreciate the changes that are being made, but you pay a lot of money to stay for a relaxing evening and this is what your woke up too. There’s 4 floors why couldn’t the section that’s being worked on be closed while they do that, or at least let the guests know to see if that is a problem for them.

Stayed here twice over holiday travel. Really good for the price. The room itself was a little worn--a few tears in the carpet, moisture damage on the bathroom door, minor stuff like that. But otherwise it was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the free breakfast was good. Would stay again.

Both times, at check-in and check out there’s was no one at the desk. Check-in , someone returned to the desk within 10 mins. Leaving, we waited about 10-15 minutes and we just left.

Hotel and staff were great… only thing was the bathroom fan - there wasn’t a switch for it, so if it was always on, it wasn’t noticed… very foggy after a shower. The hotel is close enough to UD to get there in about 15 minutes (drive). It was one of the cheapest options for a decent hotel in the area and close enough to Main Street. The place is clean and quiet and the staff is very professional. I very much liked my check in experience and the rooms are nice and clean and they don’t have that dirty carpet/ old wood smell that most motels have. Holiday Inn will now be one of my go to hotel choices.
