The staff was very accommodating with check in and even before check in. They provided bag storage and access to the bags before the room was ready. The front desk got us into the room before check in time. And even upgraded our room. The staff in the restaurant was excellent and remembered us and our preferences. The room was excellent.

The hotel was an average 4 star hotel, though a tad spartan. Sadly it lacked amenities in the room.

On a brighter note, Andi was superb, helping us every step of the way. Bright professional and very helpful. Commendable.

Curious note. When we checked in, Usal clearly stated point-blank that there was no onsite parking. and sent me off to pay £16 to park opposite the Hampton Inn. However when I returned to collect my keys, Andi offered free parking onsite to us as HiltonHonours patron.I also overheard another receptionist offer free parking to a staff member checking in from another city stating \"we have to look after each other\". I guess it matters who you speak to.

The staff are extremely friendly & helpful for your entire stay. The hotel & room was very clean. Food and drinks are excellent & great value. Location is perfect with DLR & Elizabeth Line local. Excel and city airport next door on either side, however you would know as soundproofing is superb

Horrific experince the supposed sofa bed you could feel the springs was unusable and the cleaningness was terrible. 2 towels for 3 people. Dirty glasses and bin everyday. Staffuseless. Willnever go back avoid if going with a child.

I accidently booked the wrong Doubletree and 10 mins later asked to change hotels to another place near the same brand in a different area of London. I expected a great service under the Hilton brand but only found out they are all individually ran as franchises, so DO NOT expect the squality. There were hairs in the scrambled eggs and hairs in the fried eggs. The machine coffee was Luke warm,....not a great experience and I will not be choosing doubletree or the entire Hilton brand again because of this experience. For the sake of 1 nights stay they were unwilling to be reasonable about and change details they have lost a long standing customer

The hotel itself was rather average and the facilities were suitable but not amazing. I would stay here again but I also note that there were lots of hotels at this price point, so worth looking at others too as nothing really stands out about this hotel.

During our stay, after the first night of our 3 night stay the room was run down, not very clean and we were not happy with the location of the room in the building. The next day there was construction in the lobby and the sound resonated up the stairwell to our room. When we went down for lunch we couldn’t stay in the restaurant because of the unbearable noise of a jackhammer . When we went to the front desk, they handed us a card to contact complaints. That was unhelpful, as we could barely hear the concierge. The jack hammer was breaking up tiles floor at the entrance to the restaurant and the Lobby area. It was extremely dangerous as my husband is a safety inspector and pointed it out to the desk. They initially seemed unwilling to do anything. Until my husband pointed out that the decibels were well beyond what staff and patrons can safely be exposed to. After much deliberation, they offered to refund us the rest of our stay. We did not ever receive that refund as it was through Expedia. They assured us we would get it regardless and would refund my credi card on file. I have yet to receive it and it has been 2 weeks.

I’d stay again….as long as the internet is working

My stay was very nice. The hotel is perfectly situated right across the bridge from the O2 which is where i was going for my concert. The young man at the desk changed my room to one with a view of the local airport which i loved! I got to see planes land and take off right from my bed, buses and cars ride over the bridge and people kayaking in the water. My first night i had fish and chips and all the fixings along with a Caesar salad, everything was great! I tried the breakfast on my last morning and it was a great spread for everyone, they even had vegan sausage and options if you wanted to have a traditional English breakfast without eating me.

The gym is small, but usable. The manager came in while i was working out, he told me that they are going to be doing a refab of the space. I have a suggestion of them getting a rower. Overall my stay was very nice.

I will say my last 24 hours i was without wifi. I called the front desk at least 4 times and no one answered the phone, so I was unable to get that taken care of. I did mention it upon check out because i wanted to know if it was hotel wide. The young lady said the internet was working fine and it must have been the signal in my room. As a Hilton honors member i should have internet for my entire stay, and I did not.

The hotel itself was fine, and the staff at the desk were great. The big issue was parking. We drove 2 hours from outside of London and had booked the hotel.as parking was available. Due to an event at excel, no parking was available, anywhere. Like we had to drive a couple of miles away and find paid street parking and leave our car there. We then went into London and had to go back to collect the car at almost midnight. The front desk did give us complimentary parking after to compensate for the cost which softened the blow.
The hotel itself was nice and clean and the room was good. One of the elevators was out of order which meant getting to or from the room took ages as they are tiny, and we were on the 5th floor. Breakfast was ok, but a fairly small selection and finding plates was a challenge.
To add to that, we had guests running down the halls at midnight.making loads of noise. Not really the hotels fault, but added to the overall bad experience.

For a £250 overnight stay, it was pretty poor. I don't think I'd stay again. Without parking reserved for guest use, it's too much of a gamble.

Came here with my children as was doing the squid game experience and the hotel itself is faultless and lovely! Staff are super friendly and really are truly amazing the only downfall is location which was my fault as I never did more research. It’s a perfect place to stay if you’re using London city airport or using the excel centre just not if you want to sight see in central London as the transport is a bit of a pain

The lady receptionist was not welcoming.
Noise outside the rooms of other guests, banging of doors could be heard as the main door was not sound proof.
Bathroom drainage system was bad.
Rooms and linen were not clean enough.
Overall poor stay at this property, would not want to repeat stay or recommend anyone.

Hotel is near the excel centre.
I booked the wrong one but it was only a short distance from the one I thought I booked
Hotel rooms are a bit tired. Beds comfortable . Shower leaked all over the floor apart from that all good.
Reception staff were helpful however the bar staff were sullen and clearly unhappy in their work. The bar food is reheated and dreadful. I had a burger that I could have solved my shoe with and the chips were awful. The ones on top had been arranged to make them look good but the ones underneath were reheated and inedible.
Hilton , if you are not going to serve freshly prepared food, don't bother.
Breakfast was good enough food and the staff were attentive.
Overall a good enough stay blighted only by the bar food.

Room was locating facing the river so was perfect during the night and morning to wake and sleep to.

Unfortunately the room did not come with bin bags making throwing away things difficult, basic requirement which weren’t there

Also during a night there was a guest so was screaming at staff (I believe) after a dispute when it could have been settled at reception or anyone other then the hallways where others are sleeping especially the fact it was 4am.

My girlfriend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at DoubleTree by Hilton for one night in a standard room, booked to celebrate her 30th birthday. Prior to our arrival, I discreetly emailed the hotel to mention the special occasion, and to my absolute delight, we were greeted at check-in with the incredible news that we had been upgraded to a deluxe suite overlooking the stunning London skyline!

The room itself was absolutely excellent – very modern, spacious, and impeccably clean. It truly made the occasion feel even more special. The thoughtful touches didn't stop there; we were also welcomed with two complimentary cookies, two free drinks, and two bottles of water. To top it all off, our car park fee was waived, and we received a 15% meal voucher (though we didn't get a chance to use it this time!).

A massive shout-out and heartfelt thank you must go to Irene who orchestrated this fantastic surprise for us. Her attention to detail and generosity made our stay truly memorable.

The hotel itself is very modern and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness throughout. For those looking to explore, transport to central London is incredibly convenient, with tube stations readily available and a journey time of around 20-30 minutes.

As an EV owner, I particularly appreciated the hotel's EV charging facilities. Taking advantage of the waived parking fee, I was able to recharge my car at a very reasonable 59p per kWh, costing only around £18 overall.

great hotel....location was awesome for concert across in silver works island ...5 min walk ...hotels buffet breakfast was delicious with so much options from cereals,cold meats ,mouth watering pastry selection and hot breakfast options ..also had good decent workout from gym room facilities...staff were friendly and helpful and overall I will definitely be returning on my nxt visit to London..trains into city are bout 10 min walk from hotel and a fun way to explore and get about London so even though hotel is not in city centre it's so easy to get in and out by train so this wasn't an issue but made exploring the city more fun

Check-in was fine. Room was disappointing. Paid around £680 for 2 nights. Toilet paper disintegrates when you use it, and as a women it was disgusting every time I had to use the loo. I don't even know what they call their pillows, it's ridiculous. Their coffee bags are basically for show as the coffee just leaks out (then they charge you around £10 for 2 flat whites out of the breakfast coffee machine).
The restaurant is overpriced and most of the food just tastes microwaved. Really poor.

Stayed for a night to go to a concert at the O2. Cracking location! Only took 14 mins door to door. We had a twin room. The room was spacious and the beds bigger than a standard single. Lovely bathroom and amenities with the added bonus of really good fresh cookies! The little shop was crazy expensive (£6.99 for Doritos/biscuits) but overall a fab hotel!

Good location. Close to docklands railway but hilton yse feather pillows and duvets as default. For people with alergies this is a nighmare especially when checking after housekeeping have finished.
The bed didnt feel sturdy but the room was very spacious and well appointed.
