Good overall experience. Just a couple of downsides, the room we had was hot with the air conditioning not quite working well enough, room service was not very efficient. You had to use the hotel app but payments weren’t getting processed successfully and when I tried calling reception the phone just rings out with no answer. The hotel is quite busy so that’s maybe a reason.
On the positive, the breakfast was good with decent options all round. The food at the restaurant was also quite nice. The general ambiance of the hotel is also very pleasant.
I’ll stay again surely.

Hotel was lovely, reception staff helpful and welcoming, restaurant staff welcoming but service very slow as they only had one person behind the bar and the waiting staff are not engaging or equipped to serve. The outside area was left for a while before they cleared the tables. The breakfast was good and there is plenty of choice. The room was lovely and very spacious

Stayed in executive room 4th floor with balcony. Spacious and clean with a very comfortable king size bed and sofa. Spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Nice range of tea and coffee facilities. Conveniently located for O2 using DLR two stop to Canning Town then jubilee line one stop. Lovely cooked breakfast available. Impressive interior with opulent central stair case. Would stay again.

Second time of staying here. Brought friends to celebrate birthdays and an anniversary.

Positives: room was clean, spacious and relaxing.
Decor , good,
Breakfast was extremely disappointing . Queued for over 15 minutes for food, food wasn’t hot so was unable to eat it once back at the table. Orange juice was warm and fruit available was alongside hot food hence warm and dried up.
No cups and glasses available so had to ask. Unfortunately, some staff were rude.

We did speak to the manager and he was very understanding and tried his best to accommodate people . First time I’ve seen a manager get his ‘hands dirty’ and help the staff. He clearly could see what a shambles it was.

Specifically chose this ‘hotel’ as I like something a little different from the bog standard square boring room type hotels . The other reason was as we were attending a concert at the O2 . So if you want somewhere with easy access to the O2 ( hop on the IFS cloud) somewhere with friendly staff, somewhere with great views of the river and a fantastic breakfast this is a great option .

Bed wasn’t good both had back ache in bathroom hand wash dispenser was 2 low from fitting very difficult to get handwashing out from dispenser. Heating was awful and summer duvet 🙈. I had high expectations after reviews but unfortunately hotel wasn’t up to the mark I won’t stay there again neither would recommend to any family or friends

Room was good. Reception not very helpful. Only 1bathand hand towel which i fidnt notice until i got out of the shower. Tv didn't work. When i mentioned it on check out the response wasnt very helpful. Staff need more training and understanding of English. Apart from that tje room was great and couldn't fault yhe breakfast.

Sunborn London offers a truly distinctive experience as a luxury yacht hotel. The location is excellent, with stunning views over the Royal Victoria Dock and easy access to the DLR for getting around the city. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, giving a sense of elegance and comfort.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in was smooth. Breakfast was varied and tasty, though the dining area can get busy during peak times. had to line up for food that was at 8 am when they open for breakfast

One small drawback was that some areas of the ship could use a little refresh, but overall, the ambience and uniqueness more than make up for it.

If you’re looking for something different from a standard hotel, Sunborn London is a great choice. I’d happily return.

We booked for my birthday in January. Arrived late evening. Lovely lady on reception very friendly and polite. Our double room had a window with river view. It was very clean and spacious with sofa, tv, tea and coffee facilities, Coffee machine and 2 bottles of water. A lovely card with a birthday message and box of chocolates on the table.
The ensuite bathroom was spacious too. Had a drink in their bar area. Views of 02 from the deck is lovely.
We had breakfast included which was very nice, good variety of hot and cold food and drinks. All staff are all very polite and helpful.
Will definitely visit again.

Great breakfast - lots of choice and healthy options too. Particularly liked option to have mackerel and salmon.

Slightly limited selection of toiletries compared to other 4 star hotels. Missed having dressing gowns.

Carpets in corridors and rooms were a bit tired looking.

A great stay at the Sunborn. Room was great and comfortable and very very clean. The coffee maker in room was very good too. Staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good too and Vegetarian sausages available on request too. I wouldn't bother with the bar as the lager was weak / not the best of taste (unbranded) and the wine ( pinot grigio ) was quite sharp.

We had room 5022, which offered a great view from the balcony. The room was spacious, clean and well furnished and the bed and bedding very comfortable.

The room was really large and clean. Lovely bed and bathroom was really nice too. There was only 1 lift working on the Saturday and we were stuck outside in the cold for about 10 minutes as the lift just never came to the dockside level. It was fixed late on the Sunday but this was an issue as we were with elderly parents who struggled with the stairs.
Other than this it was a great stay.

The service was amazing. We had an uncomfortable sleepless first night stay with a very squeaky sofa bed that rolled into the middle but the staff where swift the resolve the issue and kindly ungraded us for our second night. The kids absolutely loved the experience of staying on a yacht. We had a wonderful view of the water and city from our balcony. We were worried that it would been too far outside of central london but with the Elizabeth line it couldn’t have been quicker and more convenient. As a result we felt like we had a city break in a calm tranquil setting. Thank you.

This was our 3rd stay here and won’t lie a little disappointed on this occasion. Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights as our daughter was getting married in London. Rooms were at the front of the boat which are way much smaller than those in the middle and also have polished wooden floors rather than carpet, our sons room also had the used water containers still inside his fridge and had not been replaced . Not one for complaining so didn’t want to ask to be moved as you could see the hotel was very busy,

This was an absolutely lovely, exceptional experience from the room, which was comfortable and spacious, to the staff who were all welcoming, friendly, and professional. Both my husband and I were impressed by the ambience, decor, and cleanliness. We'll be back. We enjoyed every part of our stay. Oh, and the area is incredibly rich, diverse and lively. The room was a good size although not sufficient uk plug sockets and the light switches were all by the entrance meaning you needed to get out of bed to turn on or off.
I struggle with the fact that a service charge was added to the price of drinks in the bar on board for little / no service.
