Well it was great value and not far from Canary Wharf. Staff very nice. But bed wasn’t a double and not very comfy and tv didn’t work but it was late so I didn’t to be fair go and ask to get fixed. Just a bit annoying. Gym looked good but didn’t look at pool. It was super cheap for an easy night and Elizabeth line just a short walk straight into town.

Very welcoming ladies at the front desk, the budget studio are good enough for one nigh or two. Some studio are more noisy than others, the DLR line impact. It was clean and very secured, the maintenance man need a team !

Do not be fooled by the images they advertise it is the complete opposite. The rooms are extremely dirty and dusty. I fear that they do not even clean the rooms they just remake the bed for new arrivals. You will find things that look like bogeys on the walls. The floors are so sticky to walk around in. The dust is disgustingly thick. As soon as we checked in there was someone else’s hair all over the bed sheet. Looked like someone’s pubes. It’s absolute filth.

The hotel was really nicely designed & very friendly staff with a lovely spa/ pool area. I would say we didn’t find the bed that comfortable and had a dripping tap all night long. It would also be nice to be able to use the pool table if you’re staying there rather than just for members. Other than that we had a great stay !

It was impossible to reach a live person at reception; the staff was rude, including the one who cursed at me because of my disability, using the ’f’ word; and the manager, Sherifa, was rude and unprofessional. If I could choose zero stars, that would be more appropriate but, unfortunately, it’s not an option.

Room is nice size but the bed is small, no tea spoon for coffee, no cutlery or plates or anything to use in the kitchenette. Bathroom was dirty, tap and shower were filthy so didn’t use them. Side in the room was dusty ( you’ll find it says clean me on it if you stay there.)

Pool was only useable until checkout at 11am which wasn’t clear on check in or on the website. Shower was nicer in the pool changing area than the room.

We didn’t get our room cleaned, even though we had the little hanging sign outside our door. Also got locked in the toilets of the cafeteria downstairs, the locks should be checked and changed. The door had to be broken for me to get out.
Also, the sink in the room got clogged every time we used it, to brush our teeth even. And the pressure of the water in the shower was too low.

The swimming pool is really great. The only thing I was not pleased about was that I was in a box room when I opened the blind; I was looking into somebody's kitchen. So I could not open the blind through out the stay. The reception is clean and feels welcoming.

The room was very clean, and very comfortable bed. The shower was very good but on the small side as was the sink. The room was let down by lots of dirty scuff marks and flaking paint on the walls and there was a crack in the plasterboard as you walked in on the right which didn't give a good first impression.

I was disappointed with the housekeeping service during my stay. The property only offers cleaning every 3 days, and when I requested an early cleaning before that period, the staff came but did not actually clean the room. No fresh towels, soap, or shampoo were provided.
I also had to request replacement toilet paper, which was then left outside the door on the floor, showing a lack of care for hygiene and germs. Overall, the service felt inattentive and unprofessional.

The room was so unclean upon arrival and whilst I was undressed someone walked into the room ready to clean. This should’ve been done prior to me checking into the room. I wasn’t expecting to be fully undressed bare bottomed and have room service walk in unannounced. Like at least knock on the room. The room was so unclean with hair and fluff from previous still there. The floor had sticky residue and even when I asked for it to be cleaned it wasn’t. I was moved to another room the next day upon complaining and yet again the room was unclean there’s hair in the bed all on the floor and it’s just so unsanitary.

I specifically requested a quiet room when making the reservation, but was given a room next to the railway. Trains started running around 5am and continued until nearly midnight, making it very difficult to sleep. I only realised how noisy it was after going to bed, so I did not ask to change rooms, but I slept poorly for all three nights.
The room was very small, though acceptable for two people. There were hooks, but no pots or plates provided.
The facilities were a plus: the swimming pool was clean, and the dry sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were nice and well maintained. There is also a gym, although I did not have time to use it.
The hotel is located in Zone 2, with convenient access to the city centre.

The room was ok, for what it was. We only needed a bed to sleep in. However, we found an open baggie (of drugs) on the floor under the table, which not only is very unsanitary and unclassy, but made us worry about how well the room had actually been cleaned. Additionally, when we arrived to check in, a couple were complaining about a smell in their room. This obviously was not a problem for us, but the staff could have handled that issue with more professionalism.

The stay was “okay”. And I guess that’s fine. Room was clean. Lobby area is pretty and clean. Restaurant was closed at any usable time. Pool was closed and out of order. Room is extremely small and good for sleeping only - no ability to sit and work really. WiFi wouldn’t connect unless I went down 7 floors. Shower was big enough for a child of about 4 years old. Séjour très décevant. J’avais choisi cet hôtel principalement pour l’accès à la piscine et au spa, et l’établissement m’avait confirmé avant la réservation que ces installations étaient disponibles. À l’arrivée, la piscine était finalement fermée pour toute la durée de notre séjour.
La chambre était petite, avec un lit trop étroit pour deux personnes, une seule chaise pour manger, un frigo qui ne fonctionnait pas à notre arrivée, et aucun équipement de cuisine alors qu’il s’agit d’un appart’hôtel.
Propreté insuffisante : poussière, cheveux dans la salle de bain et au sol.De plus, les murs étaient abîmés à plusieurs endroits, comme si des objets avaient été décollés sans que la peinture ne soit refait Nous avons même eu une après-midi sans eau dans l’hôtel.
Seuls points positifs : l’accueil très agréable et la localisation.

Great weekend. Stayed there for three nights and I loved it. Great staffs, clean room even though the bathroom was a bit small. Loved the amenities(jacuzzi, pool, sauna, gym , steam room) although towards the ending of my stay, the jacuzzi wasn’t hot anymore. Affordable too so would recommend. If you don’t mind a little bit of noise, then it’s the best room for you due to the fact that the building and room is close to the train station.

I would not recommend this place at all. They were completely uncontactable on multiple occasions, even Expedia couldn’t get hold of them, which says a lot. They offered no help whatsoever.

We paid full price, yet half of the facilities were closed, and nobody informed us of that before we booked. To make things worse, the property was unclean and far from what was advertised. Overall, a very poor experience and definitely not worth the money.

When we checked in, we were told that a lot of the keys weren’t working and that if ours didn’t, we should contact reception so someone could come up to let us in. When we arrived at our room, the door didn’t work, and staff had to come up to open it. Instead of giving us a new key card, they told us that every time we wanted to leave, we’d have to contact reception so they could come and let us in again.

We called reception a second time, but no one answered, so we had to leave our door open, which felt unsafe. The key to the spa also didn’t work, and we had to go down to reception for someone to come up and let us in there as well. It was just a massive inconvenience.

This is actually the second time I’ve stayed here — the first time, the spa wasn’t working either. There always seems to be an issue with something. The beds were also really uncomfortable; ours had a slight dip and felt cheap and small. If you’re looking for comfort and a smooth stay, I’d honestly say go elsewhere.

Room neglected. Dirty. The hotel tried to rob me of seven hundred pounds, which was more than the cost of the room, and I had to report it to my bank as fraud.

My shower had no door. It was propped up against a wall, and no one came to fix it.

Reception staff are absolutely useless and may I confidently say, in the wrong job.

Before checking in, I tried repeatedly to contact ARK about parking — by phone, email, Hotels.com messages, and their own app chat — but received no reply. Calls went to voicemail, emails bounced, and the listed contact details didn’t work. So, expectations were already low before arrival.

Check-in was friendly and straightforward, but the shower door in my room was hanging off its hinges. I asked to move rooms, which turned into a bit of a faff with keys and confusion. The second room was dusty, missing amenities, and the TV remote had no batteries. Despite being told to use the app for issues, no one responded. Reception promised to send help, but no one came.

The “equipped kitchen” was laughable — a kettle, two glasses, and one teaspoon. No plates, cutlery, or cookware. When I requested utensils for a food delivery, they arrived two hours later. The room was noisy, right next to the lift, with constant “dings”, and the bathroom was tiny.

For the price, the overall experience was poor. Even the pool was inaccessible as my key card didn’t work. As someone who stays in London weekly for work, I can safely say there are far better options elsewhere. Would not stay again.

Property is in a convenient location for the 02 and has a lovely cafe and cool common areas. The rooms themselves are very basic and small and could do with a bit of love. We had some issues with our bathroom on arrival and instead of being moved into one of the many vacant rooms we had to sit and wait for maintenance, which felt a little unfair considering we were away on a birthday trip and had plans.

Nice enough place, but a few things to note
- the room is tiny. Yes, it’s London, but it’s very, very small (bathroom is particularly small)
- shower isn’t great (very small; not much pressure)
- bed is like sleeping in a hammock (it sags in the middle)
- no air con
- if you open the window, the DLR trains are very noisy

Good points:
- free (fast) wifi
- the TV works
- fridge / kitchenette in room (altho there’s no cutlery / plates to use)
- check in was quick
- it’s secure
