I’m had a double room, it was big, comfortable and clean. Staff were poor, the management of check-in wasn’t good. The property is difficult to navigate. The free boat to Canary Wharf is super convenient. All I’d say about the hotel is it is technically a hostel, if you go with that in mind you’ll be surprised if you expect a hotel, you’ll be disappointed

I stayed before the London Marathon. Butter time is arrived I just need to be off my feet and resting it wasn’t until I’d unpacked my things I realised there was a hole in the toilet bowl and the air-con was showing fault code and wasn’t working. I didn’t want the hassle of changing rooms at that point. These should be picked up during housekeeping checks. No kettle in the room but hot water provided by reception. Bed sheets wet plasticky too. Very very average overall.

Initial problems with key card not working but staff sorted quickly and efficiently. Room bright, fresh and clean, beds very comfortable. Shame no pillow protectors though. Also no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which surprised me for a 4 star rating. Drinks machine at reception for additional charge

We paid £13 per person, the food was awful. My son had a cooked breakfast, the sausages were tasteless & hash browns had black bits in them. I wanted fruit & Yogurt. Only fruit were apples, no choice of fruit. 2 choices of breakfast cereal, had run out of milk. No pastry’s. I did speak to reception and the girl on duty laughed at me. I then had to wait to speak to manager to be told that I had to email head office! Totally disgusting, I should have just thrown my money down the drain!

Park outside the reception, check in and only then can you get the key code to enter the cavernous underground carpark! The aircon only goes down to 20 degrees C but that was cool enough. The mattress was quite firm which didn’t offer a good nights sleep but that’s me. Breakfast was adequate but no kettle or tea/coffee in the room. You can but a cuppa for £2.75 and pick up a choccy bar for £2 from the various vending machines.

Convenient location, especially with the free ferry shuttle, good pubs couple of minutes walk away and another about 10 mins walk o the thames walkeay. Also, safe, nice and quiet with good views of Thames. Only unusual aspect was no glasses in bathroom. Also, bring own travel kettle and cups, tea and coffee, as not provided in rooms. I would definately stay here ne t time in London.

Hands down the worse experience of hotel I have ever experienced I will be asking for my money back as I felt like victim not a guest.. so got back from the O2 12 last night went to get back into my room and there was a door before are room what would lead to 3 more rooms well trying to unlock the 1st door and nothing happened it wouldn't open so we went down to reception when they issued us a new key what also didn't work then we went back and they got someone to go with us after now waiting 20 minutes for him to find out he can't unlock the door so counting this is are 4th trip back to reception were now sat at reception for a hour or so for him to come back and confirm he's not gonna be able to get us in are room tonight with all my belongings in and my medication what I was due and needed through out the night he said there's nothing we can do come back at 7 and are maintenance man would be able to unlock the door he said in the mean time we will get you a new room to sleep in now it's close to 2am so issues us a key sends us up to the room key not working 5th trip to reception they sent someone one up now... Opens the door and 2 people sleeping in there bed we're very startled and shocked and rightly so they put us in a room someone was already in.. trip 6 back to reception told them what happened they then took another 10 mins sent a colleague in to do the same to another room and he walk in on another guest it's about 2.15 till we get a room (no more characters left)

Used to be a 4* hotel. It never was 4* but it was pretty good. Great breakfast and amenities in the rooms. Now that it’s been taken over by AO it has gone downhill. On Expedia it’s still advertised as 4*. There’s nothing in the room, no tea/coffee making facilities, no hair dryer, no bathmat, no nonslip mat for the over bath shower. The bedding was good quality and the mattress comfortable, but only one thin pillow provided which resulted in neck ache in the morning. Paid extra for breakfast, it was poor. The cooked breakfast consisted of cold sausages, cold hash brown and beans. Hardly a full English. The cold continental buffet was just as basic.
The bar was poorly stocked and with the poor and slow service provided by an abrupt bar man. I was the only one at the bar and it still took 20minutes from starting my two drink order to sitting down to drink it.
Probably my own fault for having expectations based on previous experience before it was taken over by AO who seem to be turning it into a youth hostel. I subsequently discovered that AO are AOHostels which explains a lot, but AO have it on their website as a hotel, which is definitely not a hotel anymore, it’s a youth hostel with a stylish reception.
On the plus side, there’s no charge on the ferry to Canary Wharf for residents that would otherwise be £7.80 each way.

No kettle in room or cups. Reception/Bar refuses to give you cups for your room. No hair dryer. No iron. No fridge. No safe. Room is completely barron of any facilities. Its a beautiful room on the river, but that is literally all you get. Dont expect anything else other than this. Breakfast was absolutely shocking. They served very old, stale hash browns and own-brand supermarket equivalent sausages. Thats it. No bacon, no eggs, no anything. You get hash brown and sausage. If you go to the continental you see a tray of soggy wet cheese and ham. I couldnt believe it. I asked staff if more was coming, he said no. This is all there is. And it was the middle of breakfast time, not near the end. Truly, come here for the hotel river view, its good. But dont buy breakfast, and dont expect anything other than to sleep here and leave.

My stay was fantastic. The room was spacious, clean and lovely decor. Bed was so big and we had a lovely river view. Staff we're friendly and helpful, check in was quick and easy. Breakfast was nice, a good selection. The only negative is the parking is so expensive, £25 for 1 night!! We parked on the street outside as its free Saturday and Sunday's. I will admit, it put me off at 1st this place being named as an hostel but it is more like a hotel. All in all, a lovely stay. We will be back

The hotel was fairly nice, you can tell it was a little on the older side. Our room had a beautiful balcony and was a descent size for our family of 5. The elevators are extremely small and only accommodate about 3-4 people max maybe less if with luggage. The hotel does offer a complimentary ferry to the other side of the river which was amazing and used often!

I stayed there for a night, but it was a frustrating experience. The frequent faulty fire alarms in the middle of the night disrupted my sleep. The reception service was unresponsive and unprofessional. Before checkout, the housekeeping staff approached us for an earlier checkout, despite the “do not disturb” tag on the door.

Staff were really helpful and friendly. The hotel put on a ferry service over to Canary Wharf, which we used a lot and worked well. The room was clean and all amenities were there, complete with lovely views of the river and Canary Wharf. Breakfast was tasty, parking was easy and cheaper than other areas. A great weekend

The room was very cosy and comfortable which suited me as i was a solo traveller. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were all very helpful too. The hotel restaurant and bar have an anazing view of the Thames and Canary Wharf. Also the C10 bus stops right outside the hotel and is very regular going to Canada Water and Vuctoria Coach station so it is very convenient for getting about. The area around the hotel is nice with lots of nice green spaces and doesn't feel like being in a city at all.

Not a good enough Hilton hotel for the price charged - large room, comfy bed but tiny bathroom, not fit for purpose in a family room, no bigger than a cupboard. Hairs on the floor that weren’t ours:.. Good breakfast. Not very good staff - unhelpful and unwelcoming on check in. Staff make all the difference to a stay… Free Hilton boat to financial district was cool and view from the window out to the Shard saved the day. Wouldn’t stay again

This hotel was a great hotel for people who are going to stay in the city center for the day and only return to sleep. If you are looking for a place to be able to come and go throughout the day, this is not the place for you, as it is quite a commute.

The room was fairly clean, but definitely had a damp smell and there was some mold. Beds were clean an comfortable. We needed to use the sofa bed, so having it pulled out and ready to go when we arrived was great. However, it was completely inverted with the feet significantly higher than the head. My husband had to do a lot of propping to make it comfortable enough for our son. This was less than desirable after a long day of travel.
The biggest issue with the room was that there are zero power outlets in the bathroom. We had a group of four adults, and having to maneuver around the pull out sofa to use the hairdryer in the main room was extremely inconvenient. I would not return to this hotel for that reason alone.

The staff was helpful for the most part, although the person we dealt with at check in was definitely not overly friendly, nor did he share important information such as how to use the ferry, which would've been useful and I have to imagine is expected.

We did not eat at the hotel after going to the restaurant one evening and finding that the menu was a little disappointing and extremely expensive compared to other places in the area.

There is a wonderful pub down the street that I would highly recommend.

The staff were great, but the facilities really need an upgrade.
Our air-conditioning wasn't working properly in our room meaning the temperature was around 25-26.5°C during our 4 night stay.
The toilet blocked continuously, meaning maintenance were coming in at least once a day to unblock it.
Breakfast was great. The ferry across to Canary wharf was really handy.
But this really didn't feel like a 4 star hotel.

Stayed in a family deluxe room with my husband and 3 teenage kids. The hotel was fantastic and the addition of the free ferry from canary wards was brilliant, we loved it. The room was great and after a request before we arrived they gave us a room with a balcony and an amazing view over the Thames! They staff were really helpful and accommodating. I wasn’t aware that the pillows would be feather, me and my daughter are allergic. They were realy quick in getting us suitable pillows which was greatly appreciated. Also the warm welcome cookies on arrival was also a great addition, especially after a stressful journey. They only thing I would say is that the room was a little tired and could do with being spruced up a little and a couple of chairs on the balcony to sit and enjoy the view would be great! We were very impressed and would definitely recommend to others and would also stay again! Thank you to all for making it a pleasant stay! ☺️

The location is great. The views are awesome. There is a free ferry that takes you to the other side. There is a nice park across the street that you can walk through. There is a nice pub next door with great pad thai.

The bad is that London is just a sucky city. Traveling 2 miles will take you 30 minutes walking or 30 to 40 minutes driving plus you have to wait like 15 minutes for an uber to arrive. So even though this is a nice location, if you're looking to just walk down and be in central London, this is not the place.

I plan to never visit London again, because it's just too crowded. But if I did, I'd definitely consider staying here again.

It was welcoming to see theyd given my family two roo.s as oposed to the two double beds in a room, which I was online.

Their boat taxi to the other side of the canary wharf was great to have.

Our stay was extremely disappointing. We were placed in a room with a dumpster view, constant noise late into the night due to being close to the dumpster, and a dangerous bathroom floor drop that caused multiple trips and stubbed toes. The TV didn’t work, the security chain was broken, and we never received the fridge we requested. All of this was brought to the attention of the front desk staff.

A loud party/event ran until close to midnight and staff did nothing when we complained. No heads up was given about the noise and no accommodation was made to help address it.

Also, free breakfast was advertised on their own website, but we were denied it due to booking through Expedia, something that was a not clear. This hotel felt uncomfortable, poorly managed, and deceptive. We do not recommend it. Not to mention it’s 1.5 hours away from Heathrow and getting anywhere into the city centre is a nightmare given the location.
