The room is pristine clean but some toiletries were not offered like facial tissue box, toothpaste & toothbrush. There is no bedroom slippers. There is no vanity kit.
Breakfast is free but you have to eat the same kind of food for the duration of our trip which is 9 days.
I also hope that they will put a mini fridge next time.
The staffs are all very courteous & accomodating.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Loved having housekeeping every day. That went by the wayside in America after Covid. The breakfast was by far the largest selection I've ever seen in a hotel. It accommodated all dietary types and everything we tried tasted great. I appreciated the abundance of protein options. I chose a hotel within walking distance to things like the London Eye and also a train station. Both were easily walkable. I have zero complaints about our stay and would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is nice enough. I was disappointed that the two rooms that I booked weren’t on the same floor and one of the rooms didn’t have the two beds I was anticipating. They had to bring in a foldout.

Nice hotel in a not so lovely location. The room was large and mostly clean although the fabric seat was stained. The room facilities are also good. Coffee making facilities with Nespresso machine. Ironing board. Hair drier, TV plenty of towels and adjustable heating. The cost was a bit on the high side but otherwise I would consider returning.

We found the majority of staff very pleasant and helpful, especially Mr.Parvez, whom we met at check-in. He was truly helpful which we deeply appreciated when we needed to extend our stay at the last minute due to a 12 hour airline delay.
We only had an issue at our check-out because that particular staff member indicated he could provide a detail expense list/receipt because we booked via Expedia.

Very nice, comfortable, and clean hotel close to several underground stations. The staff was great especially the front desk people (Fairouz in particular was very helpful at checkin and checkout). Not located in the most exciting or glamorous part of town but I would definitely stay there again.

Overall we liked the room we had, no complaints about it, it has everything a guest would need in a hotel room : comfortable bed and sofa bed, high table (desk like), a chair, a low small table on which we foud 2 small water bottles, a cute coffe and tea corner a coffee maker (3 coffee capsules), 2 mugs, 2 cups, 2 glasses, 2 tea spoons, mini fridge, a tall mirror. In the wardrobe : few hangers, 1 bath tobe, iron, ironing board and a hair dryer.
The bathroom spot on, complete toiletry. Plenty of lights options. Air con did stop for a bit during the night but restart early in the morning.
The receptionist Fairouz and Afni were available at the desk all the time, most of all helpful and patient. I needed some photocopies, didn't know were to go and I was limited with the time, Fairouz kindly did it for me.
Regarding the food, we were happy to learn they had Halal food, we only had one meal at the hotel, overall it was good my sons loved their burgers :)
The only downside I would mention was the unpleasant view from our room (piles of waste bags dumped on the pavement) .

If you want to sleep in tropical, jungle-like temperatures in the midst of Tower Hamlets, this is your place. No windows, no air conditioning - just imagine the room after you’ve had a pre-bedtime shower. Anyway, the air conditioner is there, and is supposed to work, but it seems management has decided to turn off entire floors and disguise it as a “maintenance problem.” I guess it’s better that you’re inconvenienced than their wallets. Good luck folks, I recommend staying October through March.

Hotel was unexpected oasis in the neighborhood. Close to shadwell station(s). Working class neighborhood. If u are looking for upscale shopping, this is not for you. However, if you want to soak up “east end” this is for you.

I would recommend mastering the public transit system. A taxi from Heathrow to hotel was very expensive as there is so much congestion. Took almost 1.5 hrs to get to hotel via taxi. Much shorter (and cheaper) to take mass transit to station close to hotel. Then take a cab the rest of the way.

No parking near the property the recommended parking facility is a few blocks away, in a not nice part of town and didn’t seem like an actual business. Room service was edible but pricey. The hotel didn’t give me a “safe” feeling and we ended up checking out a day early to get out of there as quickly as possible, regardless of the financial loss of doing so.

Hotel was fab, staff were lovely and I had the view I requested of Canary Wharf. Location, though convenient for East London, was shockingly run down and rather intimidating. Never seen such deprivation. Not recommended for tourists.

I grew up in this part of London so knew the area very well. First time staying at this hotel and it's location is great. I had a premium room and it was worth the extra money. The room was large and clean. The bedroom was very usable. There was a small fridge and a coffee maker with pods as well as a kettle. However, the bed was very hard and even though I requested a second mattress topper I was told they didn't have any more. I find this a little hard to believe. I had to sleep on top of the duvet and at one point, I even sleep on the sofa for a few nights. Again, the hotel was very clean and the staff were nice. The hotel is opposite a small market with a grocery store as well as a pharmacist and some other shops. I was concerned about the street noise but since my room was on the 4th floor and at the back of the hotel, I never heard anything.

Great location for the Blind Beggar pub as we had a tour bought for us. Easy to get into the town by bus.
Lovely spacious room.
Lovely girl in the restaurant in my estimation she will go far. Not sure if she was the restaurant manager but if not she should be. Courteous, friendly always on the go, welcoming guests and showing them the buffet, while still clearing tables and cleaning down.

Handy location, albeit in a gritty area. Three issues with the room: useless aircon, hot sweaty night and no window to open; TV could not be coaxed into showing anything, and no instructions on hand; and nothing but a heavy duvet on the bed, no sheet or blanket - choice was be too hot or too cold. For the price, this should have been a first-world experience. Credit to the front desk for offering a free breakfast when I gave them this feedback directly, shame I couldn't stay for it.

Nice hotel, excellent rooms and very friendly and welcoming staff. Good distance from 2 stations. Bit far from central London so a fair bit of Travel to and forth. The breakfast was nice however stay seemed somewhat overwhelmed and was a bit disorganised.

We had a great night here at the Holiday Inn Whitechapel. Check in was easy and quick and our rooms were ready early so we could drop off our bags and head out into the city. Rooms were quite compact but were clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great with lots of choice for both adults and children. The hot chocolate and pancake making machine were favourites for the children. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Short walk to the tube station down the main road or via some back streets. We paid £22 for a black cab from Regent Street at peak time so not bad at all. No complaints at all and we would happily stay here again. Thanks all.

I stayed here on business as our offices are in Whitechapel. This is one of the few hotels with clean, modern rooms available in London for a reasonable price, especially in this area. Great views of the City, Shard and Canary Wharf, plus a 20 minute walk to the City and Spitalfields Market.
