The bathrooms are a glass box. The shower sink and toilet are all together in a very small room which was awful because it stank and the room never got dry, brushing your teeth felt like going into a public pool with a cold soaking wet floor always. The area is also not nice. Convenient for transit but not nice

Over and above expectations in terms of amenities and quality of furnishings . The only thing that would make it perfect would be kettles in rooms instead of tea and coffee stations on each corridor . Tea and coffee lovers like a proper decent cup of tea or coffee just how they like it in a proper cup/mug and pre packed disposable cups with portioned dried milk etc will never cut the mustard and try carrying two hot paper cups and getting in out of a room with swipe card !

This hotel is amazing! Staff are so friendly and welcoming. The hotel and rooms are very clean and welcoming. We did not eat in the restaurant but it looked nice. I can highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

The hotel looks nice and is styled well, and it’s in a good location (albeit on a loud street), but it wasn’t very clean. The sheets in the room were dirty, there were visible stains on the bottom sheet and hair all over the pillows and duvet covers. Not what you’d expect.

Really clean hotel, we loved the steampunk vibes of the reception and bar/restaurant area. Had dinner on our first night and breakfast every morning, everything we ate was really good. Tea and coffees not in the bedrooms but available on each floor so wasn’t an issue (they also have decaf). Staff were incredible from start to finish from the reception team, restaurant team and housekeeping, everyone was so lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend, in a great area as well really close to the Underground so travelling into the city centre was easy.

Fantastic location, literally half the price of other hotels in the city. A converted textile factory retaining many of the old features. Staff were very friendly and helpful and our bed was super-sized and super-comfortable!

Me and my son stayed at this hotel because it’s very close to the hospital.. now this hotel was amazing. It was nice welcoming and very clear. The shower was great the games room went down so well with my son he loved it in there I also think it’s a great have. We really enjoy our stay here

Impressive hotel , great staff. Unfortunately the whitechape area is not a nice area. Very dirty . However the hotel is close to the Elizabeth line which was handy for Heathrow Airport. In future I would stay closer to Tower Bridge.

The room itself was lovely very clean and shower was amazing. No kettle iron or fridge etc in room which I would prefer however they were in a separate room so still available. Was very disappointed with the breakfast as we weren’t aware there wouldn’t be pork and only turkey as we were looking forward to a full English breakfast which wasn’t available which if we knew in advance we would have got breakfast elsewhere. The toaster also did not work very well. Staff friendly and was ideal for our weekend stay at a good price.

Nice room, fairly basic - no real storage so not suitable for a long stay.

Tea and coffee was available in a common area at the end of the corridor. This wasn’t ideal, as a solo female traveller. I’d have preferred to have been able to do this in my room.

Lovely breakfast.

A minor issue- I hadn’t realised the hotel had a chophouse restaurant underneath - I don’t eat or like meat so the smell of the food being cooked until late into the evening was not a plus for me - it reached me even on the top floor - others may love this though!

I was very pleased with the hotel. When I booked I was not to sure about the area it was in. My previous experience of the area was not very good. But it has greatly improved and the hotel has been very well converted from a textile factory. I was very agreeably impressed.

Room was OK but the shower is a combined shower wet room type affair that flooded whenever you used the shower so then got feet wet going to the toilet, far from optimal

Single glazed windows did tend to give a draught down the head of the bed so a little chilly in the winter

Honestly the stay wasn’t what we expected. The first room on street side was awfully loud with a dripping tap. Was then moved to another room which was inaccessible for me as everything was too low (obviously for a person of great needs or in a wheelchair) which is understandable but really hard given the amount of bending. The third room also had issues with no hot water in the sink. Over all it wasn’t great.

Overall there's a cool vibe about the place, but the real downside for me was that it was very noisy - we were on the street side and on 1st floor so that probably didn't help. The linen was collected at 12:50am on consecutive days which was very annoying.

Breakfast was disappointing considering it was a Marco Pierre White establishment - turkey bacon and sausages definitely don't hit the same, baked beans were tasteless and poached eggs might have actually been peeled hard-boiled eggs. We ended up only having breakfast once in 4 days, wasn't worth getting up early for. There were no kettles in rooms, but tea and coffee is available on every floor from a communal area - however the coffee is not great quality (Cadbury hot chocolate was decent however)

The communal areas were pretty basic but fine - the games room consists of a pool table and an arcade machine, both free to use. The library was a few tables and a random and unordered selection of books.

The rooms were well-presented and clean, reception staff were helpful and cheerful and I liked the overall aesthetic of the hotel. Location was good, just around the corner from Whitechapel tube station. I would stay there again but maybe on a higher floor to avoid the worst of the noise.

The rooms are clean and modern and quite spacious. The hotel staff were great; our rooms were made up daily. There is a restaurant and bar on the premises. Whitechapel is a nice neighborhood, with nearby pubs. It is very close to the London tube, which is great. I walked during the day and at night and always felt safe.

It was okay just ddnt like the environment in which the hotel is in. And our room had a disabled toilet and very much open when showering to splutter water around.
Made a payment £50 deposit when l checked in which l have not received up until. The money was deducted although they claim its a pre authorisation but nothing was added back after and it is already 7 days.

Hot tub was great, room was clean but very small, wet room wasn’t ideal in layout - shower by the door, so if you wanted to use the toilet or sink, you had to get wet feet to do so.

Lacking in basic amenities such as a kettle and water (yes there are hot drink stations on each floor, but these are hospital canteen style, not 4 star style).

The AC was noisy and temperamental. Curtains didn’t do a good job of blocking out morning sun either.

Food wise, dinner was lovely which made up for the overall stay, and breakfast was decent - but upon checking our card statement, we’ve been double charged for a single coffee ordered so it just sums up the stay really: looks far better online than in real life, and would definitely not be worth paying the ‘regular’ price (we got a great deal on Travel Tuesday, but having checked the prices for alternative days, we actually laughed out loud at the audacity to charge £400 a night!),

Good stay, would go again. Easy access to Elizabeth line but there's not much else in the immediate area in terms of restaurants and bars. So it's a good job the hotel restaurant and bar is great! Had a lovely meal although it was on the pricey side, nice cocktails too.

Room was small but comfy, very clean and nice bathroom and products.

Would have been good if there were hot drinks and water in the room, you have to go into a separate room down the hallway for hot drinks, and there's no milk. Water is £1.50.

Other than that, it's a nice hotel and would stay again.

This tucked away hotel was such an amazing experience. The staff were super amazing during my entire stay specifically Olena. The hotel is super clean and the bed is super comfortable and cozy. The showers are nice and clean. The hotel has nice touches that I never experienced in America that make it super cute. There is an ironing room on the 3rd floor which is brilliant and free coffee stations are located on each floor. The second floor has an amazing library/quiet room to work. The 4th floor has a gym and hot tub. The hotel is located within walking distance of the whitechapel train station. The hotel has a nice restaurant \"Mr. White's English Coffee that we had a great dinner at. The staff were just as wonderful. A waitress \"Nicoletti\" not sure of spelling was super nice and cute and did an American accent as a girl named \"Tiffany\" hilarious.

Full transparency, when I arrived at night, I was a little skeptical because it felt like the Bronz or Queens but the area is super safe and everyone was very nice. Its was about a 20 minute walk to Tower Bridge which is a must see.

If you are a first time visitor, I would do the bus tours on the first day to get a feel of the areas. Borough Market and Camden Market are a must.

I cannot express enough how much I hated my stay here. I have no idea how this place gets a 4+ star review or how it is considered a 4-star hotel.
It is on a very loud and dirty street, no parking, loud restaurant and beyond poorly designed tiny rooms.
The WORST part was the bathroom / shower. The shower is the bathroom with no barrier, so the entire bathroom is wet - ALL of it. I had standing water for 2 days from 1 shower. It doesn't dry because the light has to be on and it's glass enclosed. And they have the door key gives you power thing so the fan can't run while you are gone. There was mold everywhere.
And to add insult, they don't even give you a bottle of water in your room. You have to buy it from a vending machine.
For what they charge a night this should all be criminal. I've stayed at hostels with shared bathrooms that felt were nicer and felt safer than this hellhole.

While the room was lovely - clean and wonderful, and the front desk staff were amazing - the breakfast was utterly bonkers.

We came down at around 9:30 on Saturday - a time when I would expect Breakfast service to be in full swing. There were maybe twenty-twentfive covers and two members of staff on.

Whilst both members of staff were curteous, there was a brusqueness to their service that, on its own, would have been fine - but coupled with no coffee left in the filter machine, no clean mugs, three sad pastries, and warm apple juice on a sad little trestle table in the corner of the restaurant it left a distinctly sour taste in my mouth.

Look, I get it. No one wants to be at work on a sad saturday morning in december, but having to ask for cutlery multiple times, and a glass for the blood temp apple juice felt a stretch too far, to be honest. I've had better breakfasts in road side Ibises. So the be in a Breakfast restaurant of a hotel that's supposedly Marco Pierre White - I think that's lowkey embarassino.

All I really wanted was a cup of coffee, a hot one. I wanted some oat milk, and a pastry - and I think the mini bake in the oven pastries from Lidl on offer are also a bit embarassing too.

Additionally, the wait staff were pretty glacial - which, for a resto with like 25 people in it, most of whom are serving themselves, seems a bit rich!

I booked a loft room thinking it was better than a standard room from the description and photos. When we arrived the room was a corner room, you could only get into the bed from one side and there as little space.
