A fine option in London if you're not visiting for too long and need a place that is bang for your buck. The room was spacious, clean and had a nice view. The staff was friendly and checking in/out was quick and easy. I am deducting 1 star because of the lacklustre breakfast and cold shower on the first day. The water was warm again on the second day. All in all a decent place to stay in a decent neighbourhood.

Park in front of property felt shady after sunset. Bed was uncomfortable, took two days for room to cool off so if being green means i sweat in my sleep than i wont stay green again.

Breakfast was good. Bar convenient. Busy place with people in an out but rooms small and mattress was subpar.

Seemed like new management had taken over and still trying to figure things out. Felt liek i paid too much for what it offers. 2.5 stars at best.

Fantastic Find in the Heart of Aldegate!!

Unique hotel with minimalist, eco-friendly rooms and surroundings. It’s right at the heart of the East of London so walkable to many lively areas with a multitude of options for food, drink, and entertainment (including Brick Lane).

The staff are welcoming, warm, and friendly; always eager to assist. I’ll definitely return.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. AC unit was in the room but not working properly and I went during late August so I was very uncomfortable. Room was super small and could barely walk freely around. Other than that I truly enjoyed my stay. Close to train and can get to many places in London with ease.

Nice modern hotel. Free coffee. Close to an underground station, cafes and Tesco Express. Doors lock at 9:00 p.m., but you can still open them with a card. Bar open 24/7. A large bed and a good blanket.
The bathroom lacked ventilation and soundproofing. Weird furniture and trash bins.

Hassle free check in and we were allowed to check in early as our room was ready for us. Excellent coffee machine available on each floor and we stayed in a very quiet and spacious, internal room with no windows. Great location and only a 5 min walk to Aldgate east tube station.

Loved the location and the room. Easy to access the subway. We enjoyed the nearby Brick Lane. A small thing to comment on was the bathroom door being very hard and loud to open and close. We also could have used one more outlet. That being said, we loved the free drink at the bar if we didn’t have our room cleaned.

Really enjoyed our stay here, room was nice and quiet. Tea and coffee station on our floor had a fantastic selection, was nice to have have different options that aren't offerent in some other hotels. Breakfast we really enjoyed, great selection and staff very attentive and friendly. Room was clean and exactly what we were looking for to enjoy a weekend getaway after sight seeing. Nice and close to the tube and close to sightseeing. We look forward to staying next time we come to London, thank you :)

This would be great for people traveling without small children, as there is no tub or refrigerator in the rooms. We had a large rustic reclaimed wood piece that was also supposed to be some kind of shelf and hangers, but it wasn't very practical to place stuff on since it leaned against the wall and only had a few small ledges. The area around the hotel has good access to public transit and a number of restaurants.

Being close to tube is great for getting around but rooms aren’t functional if you plan on staying longer than overnight. Barely any space to hanger clothes and no shelves or drawers, you have to keep things in your suitcase. Also the air conditioner doesn’t function to full power, room was 29 degrees. The gave us 2 floor fans to compensate

This quirky little hotel was our landing spot for seven nights. The pod bed/bathroom is definitely funky but was comfortable for the three of us. We had complete control of the AC and could adjust it as needed. Excellent hot breakfast was included with our package. There is also great food within walking distance, easy access to the Underground, and a relatively quiet neighborhood. That said, the local area is gritty and covered in graffiti/street art. I don’t recommend walking around at night, but you should definitely explore the area during the day.

The hotel is well situated, a short walk from Aldgate East Tube Station and close to lots of cafés, bars and restaurants in the Whitechapel area of East London. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. The free hot drinks machine on each floor is a nice touch, although I wouldn't want to be in the room next to it as it's a rather noisy and attracts a lot of foot traffic!

Perfect spot for our small family adventure. We took the tube everywhere. Easy to get wherever we needed. Room had AC which we loved. Great big soft towels and was incredibly quiet. Checking in/out was super simple as well. We didn’t eat at the hotel, but it looked like it was very nice. We chose to have food from the diverse international neighborhood where thin walking distance.

Hotel was nice, lobby and bar is lovely lots of effor put into it. Self check-in with no personalisation.
The room is nice on first look, booked a no window room and got a window room, wasnt tok fussed. By the time i got to bed my son was asleep, realised the curtains did not fully cover the windows and they had holes in them.
As you spend more time in the room you realise its not fully clean, dirt on the bottom of the 'pod' and dust everywhere.

Overall wasn't the worst, just appeared more attention on the front and not the actual room.

We stayed for over a week and the staff provided excellent services. They were able to accommodate our special requests, which gave us peace of mind. We especially appreciated Kamille and Lorena, who made us feel welcome, and the manager, Rez, who approved our requests.

While it would be nice to have a gym on-site, there’s one just a 5-minute walk away that offers short-term memberships.

A little on the shabby side. Coil whine from the electrics all night, old and only partially functioning TV. Badly designed room layouts. I can see what they were trying to do, but they seem to have cut too many corners. If you’re on a strict budget, then fine, but pay a bit more and you’ll get a lot more.

Hotel manager was lovely but the room was too cold. Room finally got to temperature after 8 hours of air con heater on full. I know it’s London but £7 a pint still sucks. Ok for a ‘budget’ option.
Beware of booking by Expedia for a family as there is a hidden extra charge for kids beds.

Self serve tea/coffee service on each floor was kind of awkward to have to leave the room, quite loud and was glad not to have a room near the machine. Great property with friendly staff! This is an eco friendly hotel that uses solar panels, has sensors to turn lights on in the hallways, and you can earn a free drink at the bar by not having your room cleaned.

The room was comfortable, and good for a 4 night stay. Restaurant onsite as well as many within walking distance.
Walking distance to 2 major tube stations (Whitechapel - 10 min walk & Algate East - 5 min walk), 15 min walk from the Tower of London.

Check out the Jack the Ripper tour near by, it was good and very interesting!

No facecloths, but there was shampoo & body wash.

Food at onsite restaurant was good (dinner, did not have breakfast)

Great breakfast and fun rooms, easy walking distance to places like Brick Lane and (slightly further) Tower Bridge/Borough Market (or even closer to tube/Elizabeth line if preferred). It's quite hands off in terms of staff interaction, but they were helpful when needed. We stayed as a couple and would happily return just us or with family.

There is no reception. You have to figure out how to heck out yourself. There are no irons in the room. I had to ask behind the bar if they had one and was directed to a cupboard where they had all been taken. The room cost me £230, was in a semi run down area. Would not stay here again.

I have rang and rang, emailed and used the contact form on the website and just cannot get in touch with the hotel.

For this reason alone i would not recommend and would not stop here again.

We were able to check in early for a fee and leave our bags before and after checking in and out which was super convenient. As vegans, we enjoyed the food available and the short walk down the road to a vegan friendly convenience shop and cafe! A short walk over to the tube from the hotel as well so all in all we were happy with our stay!

Great affordable Hotel near city centre. Tiny room and not the cleanest. Air conditioning too loud and rumbling to have running through night, no windows on the cheaper inside rooms, so aircon is only means of some airflow. Very dusty in rooms and daily cleaning misses a lot.
Really like that they have a coffee- tea station on each floor for a hot drink in morning.
Light switches in one corner of room that aren’t accessible from door or bathroom side of bed, where single traveler would most likely sleep.

We only got this hotel because our train home was cancelled. But it was a great find the hotel itself is very different to anywhere we've stayed before but it was great. The staff were fantastic really helpfull and very pleasant.The pizza we had that night was great and the breakfast was better than most. This hotel was a wonderful surprise at the end of a very trying night.
