Clean room and bed sheets, soft towels. There's shower gel, shampoo and conditioner (it's a big plus for me, finally not the 3-in-1 gel I find in many hotels). There's a kettle, coffee, milk, and sugar in the room as well as a hair dryer. The condition of the walls (paint) is not great but apart from that the room was good. The bed is comfy and the neighborhood is very quiet. The pub is on the ground floor while the rooms are on the second meaning there's no noise in the evening. The staff is friendly and the pub's atmosphere is relaxed. Overall, it was a good stay.

Let me begin with the good news: the staff are truly kind people. And maybe the other rooms are perfectly fine. But then there was Room 11, which felt like it existed in its own ecosystem.
The moment I opened the door, I was greeted by a smell so strong it should have come with its own backstory. Mold? Mildew? A mysterious third thing? Hard to say. Whatever it was, it was powerful enough that when I got home, I had to wash everything I brought with me. Room 11 was determined to send its scent home as a souvenir.
I tried switching the heater/AC to “dry,” hoping it would exorcise the odor, but I was unsuccessful in my attempt. The windows didn’t open, probably for the sake of the outside world.
The rug? Oh, that thing has seen things. Someone really needs to pull it up and send it to a lab.
The bathroom also had its own sense of humor. One of the floor tiles wiggled like it was trying to escape. The shower shelf was broken, so I had to balance all my products like I was performing in a shampoo circus. And there was so much soap scum in the corners I’m convinced some of it had tenure.
The overhead light flickered nonstop, giving the room the vibe of a horror movie and a comedy sketch at the same time.
I wondered if I was being dramatic… but then I remembered that breathable air and floors that stay put really shouldn’t be luxury features.
Maybe the other rooms are fine—honestly, I hope they are—but Room 11? Sweet mercy. Pull. Up. That. Rug.
And yes, I do have pictures.

Room was nice, clean and cosy. Only there was no closet to put clothes in… since I was on my own it didn’t matter too much, but staying there with a second person might be tricky as the room was really small

It is spotless and comfortable, especially considering the price. The shower is surprisingly spacious, given the overall room size, which is a welcome surprise. There are plenty of places to eat, and it is well situated for public transport. Have recommended it to some of the organisations I work with in the area

My room was just for sleep and shower. It was small with one long and thin window in the corner. I didn't drink or eat in the pub... I literally only used this pub for sleep and location. The Central line is a 2-minute walk. The Cherry Bar served my needs well. I have stayed here before. The rooms could use a good clean and some updates. Staff was very nice during my late check-in.

The rooms are incredibly small — the bed took up the whole space, we couldn’t even lay out suitcases on the floor (we had to lay them on top of the bed to open them). The toilet is directly under the sink, so in order to use the sink you have to bend awkwardly or sit on top of the toilet. There is no reception, the only person to help is the barista in the bar below. The rooms were clean, but that was the only nice thing about it. This hotel is ideal for people only staying one night, but if you are here on vacation or prolonged stay, it was so much more worth it to stay at an actual hotel.

I got this room for a quick overnight for the Abba experience. It was small but really clean and comfortable. Lots of little amenities. Bathroom was kind of small but the shower was huge. I wasn't there for very long but I really enjoyed it, great value for the money. Being over the bar didn't seem too loud either. I didn't eat there.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I reserved a room and after some delayed trained I called reception to let them know I would be arriving after check in time. They said they would put a key in the lockbox for me. Upon arrival there was no key in the lockbox. I called multiple times with no answer, I emailed with no response. I arrived at 11pm and was stranded with no accommodation, forcing me to book a last minute reservation nearby. When I tried to receive a refund through Hotels.com the property manager refused to give me a refund. They took my money, never gave me a key to my room and left me stranded overnight.

The room had such character—loved the poster and color scheme. The individual who checked us in was extremely helpful and provided assistance with our luggage. It’s also the perfect location for exploring the Regent’s Canal and amazing parks nearby!

I like that the hotel is a very convenient base for me when I come to London as it is close to the Tube station. It is also pleasant to walk along the Regent's Canal.

On arrival I was stuck outside for about 10 minutes as the only way to enter is reception buzzing you in. When I was checking in I was informed that at any point during my stay, if I was leaving the hotel I would have to hand my key back in and then get it back when I returned. The room had obviously not been cleaned at all, there was bedding and towels on the flower and rubbish left out. The bathroom door also had a chunk of wood near enough missing.
There were no other rooms available for my stay and I ended up going elsewhere as I was travelling by myself and did not feel comfortable.

Such a great place, convenient for the London Stadium with good transport links, but walkable distance too. Staff were really friendly and helpful, food was great and there was a lovely laid back atmosphere in the pub itself. The room was clean with comfortable beds and everything you need for an overnight stay. Definitely will be our first choice next time we need to stay in that area

We booked this just for a one night stay due to it being good value. We didnt know the Mile End area well so was a bit sceptical but we were really pleased with the stay. The rooms are all above a pub which had live music on the night we stayed so we were concerned it would be noisy but we never heard a thing! The pub itself was great and the food and drink looked good (plus you get 10%!). Staff friendly, the room although small for a double had everything we needed and a huge bonus in the hot weather was air conditioning! Literally just a 5 min walk to Mile End tube it was so easy to get around, plus you can walk down the side of the pub straight onto the Regents canal path, a lovely stretch to walk or run along, peaceful and great for watching canal boats come and go. We would definately stay again.

Great hotel for a weekend in London
We chose this hotel mainly because of the price and the proximity to a gig we were going to as we could walk to the gig from there. I also liked the reviews too. We loved the hotel, despite the climb up all the stairs but it was just perfect for us. We had food there when we arrived which was lovely and the drinks were very welcome after our delayed coach to London from Cardiff. The staff were great. We did not get our room cleaned as we felt we did not need it. The hotel is very close to buses and Mike End tube station so it is very easy to get around London from there. We did not have time to use the shower but it did look really nice. We even liked the green colour of the room too. I would give this hotel 10 out of 10 and would definitely like to come back again for another weekend in London.

Fantastic location for concerts at London stadium and great value for money with comfortable beds and a good shower. Nice vibe in the bar area. Unfortunately the air conditioning in our room (a bonus in hot London!) was very noisy and was leaking water. Reported to staff but due to the time at night (gone midnight) there was very little they could do, which is understandable.

The food and drink from the pub downstairs is an added benefit (plus residents’ discount). Rooms have everything you need for my one-night stays and are comfortable.

Booked as a place to crash after meeting friends in London. The bed was comfortable and the room had Aircon which was nice. Was a little worried when I arrived in the afternoon as the buildings Aircon unit was right outside the window and made a loud humming noise. Luckily this didn't go on at night!

Great location. As soon as you come out of Mile End tube station and look left you can see it in the distance, probably a 3 minute walk. Sainsburys Local and Co-op as well as plenty of food and drink options all within 2-3 minute walk. Really amazing location.

Convienient 5 mins walk from mile end stating, a Co op a minute away and lots of breakfast /cafe locations nearby. Great location for east London or the city. Only issue is it's loud. You can't avoid it being on a main street. But... You are in top of a bar, so you are close to food and drink. Staff are lovely and helpful, and once you have key card, you can access room from external entrance!/exit without going through the bar.

The Cherry is on a main road and therefore you can hear some traffic noise, but the location is very central to most attractions. Whilst we didn’t unfortunately get the chance to eat at the Cherry, the pizzas looked amazing and the cocktails were fantastic.

I loved this property, it was quirky and really comfortable, the bedding was amazing and I would happily steal that quilt, but we couldn’t turn the temperature down in the shower and there wasn’t a lift, so no good if you have any mobility issues, luckily we don’t, but really loved our stay
