Lovely stay at the Dorsett, very friendly and helpful staff! Room was immaculate however the shower didn't fully close so water did leak a bit when taking a shower.

And there was no bin bags in the bins so tea bags made a little mess!

Alternative milk would have been appreciated in the room as I dont drink milk however this wasn't expected.

Still a 10/10 stay perfect location for the o2 arena and would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Love this relatively new hotel in Canary Wharf. It was perfect for me and I especially liked the rooftop bar with views over London. It was also priced reasonably. I highly recommend.

This hotel was a gem. Close to Canary Wharf & Heron Quays tube, making it easy to get around. The staff were fantastic - welcoming and extremely helpful. The Saturday I arrived was the last hot, hot day of the heatwave so I made sure the air conditioning was on before heading out. When I got back, it was clear the A/C wasn't working. Phoned down to front desk to ask if I was doing something wrong when setting it. They sent someone 5 mins later who declared it wasn't working. They immediately swapped my room to one with working A/C. So, after a fab shower, had a very good night's sleep. The A/C is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Overall, an excellent hotel, great value for money and very helpful & friendly staff. Thank you. I will be back! 😊

I was disappointed with a slow check in process. Over 30 mins to check in. Furthermore the room was not clean. Hair on the carpet and in the shower together with handwash that had fallen off the wall. For a new hotel - I was disappointed.

Staff helpful, clean hotel booked a deluxe room was the same as a standard room ask reception and was told by a manager it was a deluxe room we were going by the pictures from the booking site and the actual so don't bother wasting money on a deluxe room unless its a corner deluxe , the room we were in was small compared to other hotels we have stayed in around the area and have paid similar rates
The tv reception was very poor kept cutting out we did report this when we checked out

Our room was clean and spacious. Very well decorated and staff were friendly. Only issue was they charge 5% service charge when you check out, which we didn’t knew until we went to check out.
Other than that it is really good for the price, very modern and clean hotel.

We were moved twice to try and find a room where the air conditioning worked. Neither room had working air conditioning. 30 degrees in London in a hotel room where the windows don’t open and no functioning air conditioning. Night manager bought us up a broken electric fan. We asked for some water given the high temperatures and was told to go and get it ourselves. Terrible customer service. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Stayed here after reading reviews that it was easily accessible to the o2 arena. The hotel is spotless, room quite small but all we needed for an overnight stay for two. This will be my “go to” hotel now for any future concerts.
Local to the tube (just 1 stop to the arena) local to shops and bars, a perfect stay.

It was an okay stay for the amount we paid. Staff didn't go above and beyond. For example, the shower was broken (there was a handheld shower head we could use instead) and despite telling the staff my issue and a couple of other things which were an issue in the room, they didn't fix them during the time I was there. They weren't deal breakers, but I still feel like the issues could've been resolved for a great overall stay.

We paid for the cheapest rate room
Through hotels.com as we were on a budget and it was twin beds. but it was our anniversary weekend and when we got there they had upgraded us to a corner king room and put rose petals on the bed for us it was amazing! Also our room key stopped working and there was a problem with the door in our room. We couldn’t get in, so they had to repair it. Made us late for our dinner reservations but the hotel went above and beyond to make it up to us by giving us free breakfast on our 2 night stay and also took us up to the bar and gave us complimentary cocktails and drinks. We had 2 cocktails each and a “Jam doughnut shot”from the bartender. He couldn’t do enough for us and would have given us more drinks if I had wanted (I’m a lightweight). So to sum it up we encountered a problem but the hotel did absolutely everything to make our stay better and rectify this issue. Customer service in this hotel is second to none. We loved every minute of our stay. View from the room was also unbelievable. Only downside was parking as there’s no spaces around the hotel to stay overnight. So be prepared for a 10-15 min walk to the car park. No disabled parking close by at all. But I wouldn’t mark it down for that as if you’re prepared for it maybe you could find something on just park or get the train .

The AC in my room was broken and was stuck at 29 degrees Celsius. It took 4 maintenance calls and until 2:30am to be offered a new room. Very disappointing considering the room & property was great.

Property was clean. We arrived at 3pm. Toom was lovely but AC broken in the room, in a corner room. Room was sat at 29°C when first arrived and only lowered to 25°C once we returned at 11pm. Reported to 3 separate people at desk, one told me someone one would come up, nobody did. Was then told it was the mains and it would be fixed while we were out. It wasn't. Came back down to be told it was just our floor, which next door were getting someone to help fix theirs. We didn't bother to say anything else until leaving at about 7am. I know it feels like a first world problem but this is our first night away for this year and was our anniversary. Slept awfully and it cost me £170. Shame, lovely looking hotel

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice new hotel, kept clean and tidy room. Has 2 bars, sky bar closes at midnight. Expedia stated they have a pool but unfortuantely they do not, there were plans of one but not anymore. This was dissapointing as I was not aware of this until i arrived at hotel. The room AC also was not great, the lowest temp it could go down to was 18 degrees, it was a hot day and the room was quite stuffy and even hotter than the rest of the hotel! This needs addressing as the room was too hot

Lovely Hotel, TV signal wasnt great but me and my partner didn’t really mind. Would definitely recommend upgrading to a smart tv with streaming services, would be nice for the hotel to offer water bottles in the room. other than that the hotel was flawless and would stay again…. Also left us a nice towel swan art for our anniversary which we both really appreciated. Hopefully stay again soon. A lot of negative reviews online for this place but i wouldn’t agree with them all.

Stayed for three nights in 602. Lovely hotel and feel etc and nice room. Only gripes were that for a new hotel the water pressure was a bit pants, the TV signal was equally pants and air con was barely there. Overall enjoyed stay but would have been 5* if little bits were sorted.

The hotel was well appointed clean and well decorated.

The main issue we had with the lack of room service. My wife and I woke in the morning after our wedding to find no water provided and no room service available. My only recourse at this point was to walk to a local shop that was thankfully open.

The staff advised us that there was no room service however the listing on hotels.com states that it is available with in certain hours. Those hours are not specified and the staff are not aware.

Additionally the walls are somewhat thin, the sound of pipes was intermittently present throughout the night.

I've given 5 stars because the whole place is brand new and exceptional staff. However there are a few teething problems. First one is there's no plug for the sink. We asked at reception only to be told 'we don't supply plugs'. So my husband wet shaved in running water and he felt this was a waste of water. I suppose in this age it's not really environmentally friendly. We did think it was odd no plugs though!!
There are hooks in the bathroom, but nowhere near where you open the shower door, so you end up piling your towel on the floor so you don't traipse to the other side of the bathroom to grab it.
The tap spout was too long jutting out into the sink, so if you bent down to splash your face with water you had to be very careful not to hit the tap!
Aesthetically it looked lovely though!
No toilet brush... just a very simple thing and would have been handy.
No coat hooks in the room, so coats were hung on wardrobe area but were crammed in amongst other clothes.
The overall 3 night stay was very nice. It's all so new, lovely! It would be nice if they sorted out a few things though. We called down a few times for more coffee and milk and it was sent up to us in a flash. We stayed in room 303.
It's very close to the DLR and there's a lovely small Turkish restaurant nearby which was very tasty!

I stayed here for 12 nights. The rooms—especially the bathrooms—were very good, and the room received good natural sunlight, which was a plus. The heating and cooling system appeared to be new, but it responded very slowly when adjusting the temperature, so it may need some technical optimisation. The toilet flush was not very efficient.
At the moment, the hotel does not offer cooked breakfast or a gym, and it appears the property is not yet fully operational as advertised on the website.
Staff experience was mixed. Around 50% of the staff seem undertrained, and overall there was a lack of warmth—some staff did not smile or appear welcoming, giving an impression similar to a government office environment.
That said, several staff members stood out positively — Kasif, Greta, and Stefeny in particular were well trained, attentive, and genuinely knew how to take care of guest requests.
With better staff training and completion of facilities, the hotel has good potential.

We chose to stay here due to the opening offer discount, which we were happy with the hotel for what we paid, but would have been disappointed if we had paid more!

One issue was the room bed size - we paid more for a king size bed, however, according to their very own receptionist, on the hotels booking system there is no differentiation between a double and a king. Therefore, they charge you more for a king when there's no difference to a double. The bed was 2 single divans pushed together (with one mattress though), so is a king size...
So, just book the double to get a king size bed!

The receptionist was very rude when we asked to check the room and spoke to myself and my partner in an aggravated manner. Had I been a lone female, I would have felt uncomfortable. Not professional for what is meant to be a 4-star hotel. We were also given a connecting room without being asked if we were okay with that - which we weren't really, it is London!

In the rooms, none of the bathroom sinks have a plughole. Therefore, you cannot fill up a sink to wash your face/have a shave.
This is likely because they have installed sinks with no overflow hole, therefore you could flood the room if you left the tap on.
Our sink also had no hot water. When we reported it at the end of our stay (as we just put up with it), there was no apology.

The room was very clean and the location is really nice for a change in London.

Beautiful hotel but I had an issue with my toilet which I flagged in the morning after my first night. It was meant to be resolved for my return but it was not. I was given another room, but not until I noticed at 9pm. It was inconvenient to have to move at that time even though it was the only option by that point. There was nothing offered by way of apology
