We had two issues at the beginning of our stay- 1- they said it was a mistake and breakfast was not included in the price - I contacted Expedia and resolved it 2- the sofa bed had a thin mattress that you can feel the metal springs , they provided a better mattress the 3rd day. The staff was kind and tried to accommodate us asap with our mattress request.

2nd stay in a week. All the positives about the location and convenience still stand. Staff on reception allowed us to check in early. Unfortunately this 2nd room was not as clean, dirty walls in toilet. The carpet felt grubby. We could not get the bath tap working, so had to use the hand shower to fill the bath, the hose had a leak & flooded the floor, using 3 towels to mop up. There was a fault with the basin pop-up and we couldn't empty the basin. Room well equipped with ironing board, kettle, fridge, hair-dryer. Would stay again due to location and friendly staff.

Insisted that the payment had not been paid as shown on the reader I paid again showed on the reader it was accepted again , passed me over to the other colleague who checked on his terminal stating a computer error,given a room card told to call at reception again refund recipient given. At seventy six I do not need that sort of reception,the only I’d I had on me was a medical prescription very intrusive for an insistent receptionist to read. Room given situated next to the utility room

Overall very good, Room was clean and maintained well. A couple of very minor deficiencies in that the metal roof panel in the toilet moved every time that the door was opened or closed making a loud clanging noise. Also, the room initially smelt very strongly of cleaning products, particularly of Bleach. Aside from that it was fine.

Room was clean spacious and better than we expected. Nice to have a bath as well as a shower. Bit strange having a separate toilet which means going into the bathroom to wash your hands. Staff all pleasant, courteous. Good to have a 24 hour bar. Nice & close to the DLR station and Greenwich centre. We'll be back in a few days for another event at the O2!

It was a good stay, however I did ask staff about the later arrival of my partner as he was driving to the venue and had been stuck in traffic. They reassured me this would be fine if he gave my name on arrival, but instead at 11:30pm I had to come down and get out of bed and dressed to collect him from reception as they wouldn’t let him come up to the room. Its a shame as its a nice hotel but this and the slow service being taken to breakfast may put me off returning to the venue.

The main entrance scent was lovely. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They allocated a spacious and clean room for my family. There were shops near by and the station was just behind the hotel I was very pleased. One thing I suggest, upgrading the bathroom to a more aesthetic style and improving the breakfast menu I was not able to get plant based milk or yogurt for my daughter.

Russel helped us move from the elderly/disabled room to a regular room. We requested for a room close to the elevator but gave us a room for wheelchair assisted people. The lady that checked us in saw that we are both able people but she gave us a room for the disabled. Need to train that lady that checked us in.

Used this property because it was the pick up spot for our Expat Explore tour. Food a little expensive but happy there is a pub right across the lot as well as a couple others within walking distance as well as a couple grocery stores I. Less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The train station is right next door. So convenient for getting to London proper.

Lobby was gorgeous, as well as the esthetic of the restaurant. Room was quite worn and in need of an update but good enough for a few nights stay especially since the location is so good. Bathroom wasn't cleaned very well and had to give sink area a good wipe down after check in to clean up some soap scum and hairs leftover from previous stay.

Checked into hotel. Staff pleasant on reception. Got to hotel room and all looked okay apart from the crumbs on the floor and a foil wrapper left at the side of the bin.
Next morning I wanted to bath my daughter and noticed lots of hair in the bathtub. I phoned reception to be told that they would send housekeeping. When the housekeepers arrived the youngest of the two swept her hand across the bath & said ‘no hair’ to which I replied ‘yes there is’, she then asked ‘Where?’ So I pointed out that it was in several different areas of the bathtub. She sighed loudly so I then said if it’s a problem I was quite happy to clean it myself if she got me a cloth & spray. She then proceeded to get the cleaning equipment and do it herself. I don’t appreciate being made to feel like I had inconvenienced her just by asking for a clean bathtub which should have been done before we checked in & I certainly didn’t like being made out to be a liar when I say there’s hair in the bath. As an individual that has a holiday let cleaning business myself that hotel room was not up to a standard that would be acceptable to me. I would not stay here again and for the price of the room the hotel needs to ensure better cleanliness.

it was terrible, the pillows were stained and the floor had significant staining and the toilet was small, we could not fit into the toilet, the paint job was terrible, the television kept turning off and on randomly, no telephone for room service and other services they offer, really disappointed, really loud noises all day and all night, lots banging at night ,could not sleep or relax . we went down to see someone and there was no one there so had no sleep & horrible night it was a 2 star hotel at best. staff were liars. small room, strange layout, door in room which led to another room ,dirty room.

Not a luxury 4 Star Hotel

It is my first time staying at this hotel chain, it didn’t start well because we arrived very late night and was super tired. The check-in was pleasant and we got to our room and realised that the sofa bed had not been made up. Not wanting to go back down I opened the sofa bed myself but found no sheets to make it up so I had to go down to reception to ask for some sheets. The lady was apologetic and had said that it must’ve been a mistake with the Housekeeping because the bed should’ve already been made up which was reassuring to hear because I would have thought the bed would’ve been ready given it as a four-star hotel. They asked if we could move rooms for the night for the room offered to us was a standard room and I had paid for an executive room. I accepted as it was very late and it was not the person’s fault on reception. We were offered the same level of room the following day, but it would’ve meant moving all our luggage again including our cosmetics from the bathroom so we decided just to stay put. The bathroom looks very tired and could do with re-grouting otherwise it was fully equipped for what we needed . This room oversight really surprised me for a 4 star hotel and I am certainly not in a hurry to rebook but I am not adverse to it either if there are no other options should we find ourselves in the same location again in the future. In my experience when travelling to London and wanting a 4 star hotel, the best so far has been Doubletree by Hilton.

Parking expensive at £25 a night and breakfast an additional £16 so did feel a bit over priced. Breakfast was very good. Would stay again but get train there next time.

Good location for traveling in London, but rooms are a bit dated- ours had some duct tape over wall sockets. The front office check in staff leaves much to be desired, after we checked in we were hounded to pay for our room early no less than 3 times. Mind you this was after our 10 hour flight and jet lag setting in. Good restaurant, but it’s very understaffed. Honestly the only reason to stay here is it is a great location for getting picked up for bus tours and hopping on the train.

No one was there on Reception to issue room key on arrival. Had to wait quite a while for someone to show up. No where to ring or push a bell for service.
Hair dryer in room was very battered and scarred with most of the paint missing off the body of it. It did work ok.

Room itself was nice. The toilet ceiling is a joke and makes the most awful noise when opening the door, not good if you are with a light sleeper. Unable to reposition the shower head. The shower also needs regrouting. Only 2 tea bags and milk. No biscuits or water provided, unlike other hotels we have stayed in, in London. Staff lovely and helpful.

Good set of facilities, clean, friendly and helpful staff but the room was in a tired condition and could usefully do with a refresh - painting, sockets, bedside light was missing a switch on one side of the bed. Good shower but a relatively small cubicle and no specific overhead lighting.
Good option of a £5 drinks voucher if you don’t require a housekeeping visit during your stay (ours was 2 nights)

The dining room experience was very good. They served a group of 7 of us and we had the back of the dining room to ourselves. Anyone staying here needs to be aware that this part of London is on the up and coming side, so expect there to be a fair amount of poverty still evident. Eclectic decor and extremely convenient to the train as well… the only concern was when checking in out front desk man gave us the wrong key to the wrong room….
The critique would be that the fit and finish of the room was dated and there were fixtures that had duck tape on them next to a broken light in our bedroom. Also, Some of the tiles in the bathroom need replacing.
