The air con was centrally managed and couldn't be changed, no windows could be opened which meant the room was incredibly warm and stuffy. We did ask if it could be changed and was apparently as low as it could be.

Wonderful place to stay in London
This hotel sits right by two major bus stops that will get you into London with ease. Our room faced the street and still was soundproof. The room comes with central AC which was a blessing during their hot wave. Theres restaurants nearby and a grocery store within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again. Its also very close to a tube station.

We were disappointed with our stay at this hotel in London during our Europe trip. The location, while not as central as expected in Greenwich, was quieter. However, the room was uncomfortably hot, and despite notifying reception, they were unable to resolve the issue. We requested a different room, but none were available. The staff advised that they needed managers approval to give us fans and they took a long time to approve only one extra fan, which did not sufficiently cool the room. The room layout was also inconvenient, as the sofa bed could not be opened fully due to a diningtable blocking it. We moved the table towards the side, but that blocked the kitchen and the exit from the room. In other words, there was nowhere to put the table and open the sofa bed at the same time. The room is not suitable for four people as advertised. The reception staff were sympathetic but unable to address the issues effectively. Additionally, we discovered mold on the sheets in the morning, which was immediatelyreported but not directly addressed by the manager. The compensation offered was 20% off a future stay, but we have no intention of returning.

Hotel was ok, the location was great but check in wasn’t the best. Staff member on reception didn’t update us and the 25 minutes they said it would take for the room to be ready turned into 40 minutes. Not ideal as check in was 3 and we were on time. Got into the room and there were stains on the sofa which wasn’t ideal. It also was advertised as a double sofa bed but was two singles. The bed was very firm and the pillows weren’t the best but it’s a hotel at the end of the day and it’s never great. Other than that the stay was ok.

The on line check in wouldn't work, so I had to check in on arrival. The staff member didn't ask for payment when I checked in and I later found out that he should have. Instead of contacting me, the manager chose to deactivate my room and lock me out of the hotel. Given that I could have returned to the hotel after the reception had closed and been unable to get in, I find this inexcusable and feel it reflects badly.

Overall, a very nice place. The staff were very friendly. Good location, a short walk to the tube station, several cafes and supermarkets nearby, and a nice part of town. The room was clean and quite big for London, and had an iron, which is always nice. Also laundry downstairs was a huge positive.
However, the mattress in the room was quite old and had some springs poking out. Also, didn't find any dishwasher pods, and the microwave had a bit of an unpleasant smell.

We were given an accessibility room , although we hadn’t requested this. The room was comfortable but the bathroom was a wet room and the shower drain away was blocked. There was a permanent green light on throughout the night in the room which was annoying . Could have done without the male member of staff just letting himself into our room without knocking this morning. Thankfully we were dressed !

From start to finish the staff and communication were great, the check in details were helpful and was where I could book parking. The whatsapp chat to get the parking details were quick and informative. The room was nice although we had an issue with one of the windows that didn't close fully but the reception staff were easy to reach and helpful. Using the Whatsapp chat again we were able to request late check out on the morning effortlessly. The carpark is very handy although worth noting there is a short walk to the hotel. Make sure you get the car park details from them before you park!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately everything in the apartment kitchenette area was dirty (cutlery and crockery). The hotel is on a busy main road in quite rough area it seems, we thought we were more in Greenwich but seemingly this is more in Deptford. First night there were several sirens passing and they all seemed to stop at an incident no more than 100 metres down the road. Not sure what had happened but a bit discerning with 5 or more police cars/vans with blues on.
Not to do with the property but well worth thinking about. Loved the Turkish restaurant next door to the hotel though, great spot!

We had a great stay. Good value for money, clean and comfy. There were complimentary snacks and drinks in our apartment on arrival which was a lovely touch after a long journey. Our only criticism is that instructions for parking could be better like being provided with the code for the doors prior to arrival.

The room itself unfortunately smelt of smoke when we arrived and we were unable to open the windows, plus the bathroom sink had toothpaste stains on the tap and the toilet roll holder was faulty, so the paper kept falling off. My recent stay at Staycity Aparthotel in Greenwich was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, especially given its convenient location near the O2 Arena. From the moment we arrived, the staff set a warm and welcoming tone. They were helpful, polite, and friendly, even offering us complimentary bubbles upon check-in, which was a lovely touch.
Our room was immaculate and well-equipped with everything needed for a few nights away. We were pleasantly surprised to find a personalised welcome card and a basket of goodies waiting for us, which made us feel special and appreciated as guests.
The aparthotel itself is well-maintained, and the amenities provided in the room ensured a comfortable and hassle-free stay. The proximity to the O2 Arena made it a perfect choice for our visit, offering a convenient base for our activities.
The only downside to our stay, and the reason for a 4-star rating instead of 5, was the comfort of the pillows. They were not as comfortable as we would have liked, which slightly detracted from an otherwise perfect experience.
Overall, I would highly recommend Staycity Aparthotel Greenwich for its excellent location, friendly staff, and thoughtful touches. With a slight improvement in the bedding, it could easily become a 5-star destination.

It was going good. But our door kept malfunctioning, we got locked out of our room 4 times during the stay. With one time we were waiting in the lobby with our dinner for over an hour.
On top of that the hotel was uncomfortably hot at night without any heater on, we had to keep the patio door open. Which have balconies easily accessible from the one next to it, so we didnt feel the safest while doing that.

We chose an Aparthotel after an awesome stay in one in Glasgow. Unfortunately, this one was a bit disappointing. We arrived on time for check-in, but were told the room wouldn’t be ready for another 15 minutes. To use up the time we went out for something to eat and came back 40 minutes later, to be told the same thing again. This time we waited in the foyer, and it was indeed a 15 minute wait this time. However, it had been an hour since our intended check-in time. The room we stayed in had clearly only just been cleaned, but I did notice a few hairs in the bathroom which was a little off-putting. The kitchen facilities were good and the main reason we stayed in an Aparthotel again - it’s certainly handy to be able to cook bacon and eggs in the morning rather than rush out. The noise of traffic from the window was quite loud due to the location but can’t be helped. With the windows closed it wasn’t bad. Overall, a decent stay, but could do with some minor improvements.

We spent 6 days and enjoyed everyday. We were close to DLR, Bus and Rail services. Local shops wee easy to get to and had everything we needed. The room was spacious compared to others we stayed in in London. The kitchenette was also a bonus. Thank you for a great stay.

It takes about 30 minutes to get to Tower of London area but public transportation is really easy to use. And it is nice to have a quiet place to end up after the crowds of the main tourist attractions.
We got a triple in case one of us needed a separate bed and it was fine for 2 people but would have been really crowded and uncomfortable with 3 people. The kitchen is not really workable for cooking it was great to have milk for coffee and hot water etc. Shower was nice. Mattress was kind of hard but fine.

Located right on the border of Deptford and Greenwich and 5 min walk to 2 train stations each way giving us easy access to all the London attractions (30-45 min). Greenwich itself had a few attractions which was a great option for those days that we didn’t feel like going far. 15 min walk to the Greenwich pier which lets you get on a Thames boat cruise to the city center. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable with exceptionally friendly staff (Sebastian). The building is new and the room was clean and comfortable, although it could have been a bit more spacious and used a bit more upkeep and maintenance (problem fridge), however it met our needs.

Plenty of space in the room. kitchen facilities looked adequate, but we did not need them. Would consider using Staycity again and going more self catering. Taking into account the location and facilities it can be considered good value. About a 15 min walk to the town. A couple of points to note, not complaints, just observations. We stayed in room 225 and were very aware of people pounding on the treadmill in the gym in the building next door. The gym was open 24hrs and we had that noise at 10,11, 12 on both nights and 4am on the Monday. The bathroom was nice with a very good shower. However, the extract fan was very noisy and not on a timer, kept us awake. So we had to turn it off/on using the switch at high level above the door. Anyone shorter would have to use a chair to do this. We did mention this at reception when checking out and it would seem it is what you have to do. Staff apologised and offered a contact for discount on another booking.

Bad experience. Checked into the property online and paid for it prior to arrival. When I arrived it was clear the place was overbooked and somehow they managed to have my confirmation in one system but not the other so I had no room to stay in. This is despite paying and checking in on their website. I asked for a refund but it took quite a while before they acknowledged that I used their website etc (I had to send them back their email confirmation to me). Still waiting for that refund as well.

We enjoyed our weeks stay at Stay City Greenwich. Very convenient location and easy transport connections. Reception staff were helpful and polite. Our studio apartment had all we needed for our stay. Fridge, microwave, sink, toaster, kettle and two ring hob along with a dishwasher and tablets !

Good location, fairly close to station. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Supermarkets close by for families self catering. Kitchen small but usable if needed. Cafe and very good chip shop opposite. Very quiet hotel re: other people staying but, very busy road so a lot of road noise at night. Washing machine facilities available, downstairs. Would have liked carpet in the bedroom area. Room size much smaller than we expected. Door key worked the whole 6 day stay 😁.

Nice, relatively inexpensive place near Greenwich. Helpful friendly staff. Walking distance to Greenwich Park and its various museums. Just a few minutes walk to Greenwich and Deptford Bridge stations. Parking in their garage was a bit of a hassle, but at least there was parking for the not unreasonable price of 11 pounds per day. Modest sized kitchen with a stove, fridge and even a dishwasher. Overall, we were quite satisfied with our stay.
