I was down there for work, travel all over nz and have to say this was one of the most thoughtful places I have stayed-an electric blanket on the bed made it 10/10 for me and the touch of the kitkat sitting on the bench with a note to have a break, t little touches but make all the difference. This is a good hotel in the outskirts of Invercargill. The staff is very nice and we had a great discussion with the Bulldozer. The room is very large and has a good kitchen with all the items needed to cook a meal. The area around the hotel is rather suburban and other than the two restaurants next door there is not much you can walk to. The Park is one block away but you cannot enter the main part of the park from here since it is cut off by the golf course. The free laundry is an excellent feature.

It could do with a slight renovation. The paint was peeling in the bathroom, some mould was present on the bathroom ceiling. Unfortunately, there were 2 separate taps in the bathroom basin and kitchen sink, one for hot water and one for cold. So you can’t really wash your hands in warm water unless you plug the sink up and mix the water in there. They did say it was going to be replaced soon so it might be done the next time we go there.
Overall, we liked the room as it was large and clean. Heating in the room was good too. Laundry facilities were available. Good location if you have a car. Good food across the road. The taps were the only bugbear. We would stay there again when the tapware is replaced.

We had 2 2-bedroom suites with kitchen, dining and living room area. The bedrooms included a queen and a twin, and 2 twins. This worked out great for us! We had 4 little kids and 4 adults and we had plenty of room and cooked our own meals. Only 10 min walk to a big playground which the kids loved! Definitely stay here!

The room was very spacious & comfortable but the fixtures are looking rather tired & dated for a \"luxury\" suite such as paint flaking off the taps & shower hardware, the tv in the bedroom is a nightmare to get going with dodgy power cords that short out. Great bed though with a good selection of pillows.
