An excellent place to stay. It had all the amenities one needed, clean, comfortable and top quality fittings and furnishings. Loved the upstairs bedroom and warmth of the place. Excellent cooking facilities. Warm welcome on arrival and then simply left alone but knew if i needed anything, I could simply ask. Walking distance to the supermarket which was great.

Unfortunately there was very little natural light due to the mezzanine floor, so lights needed to be on all day. Needs silicone replaced around the shower area as moulding and limited ventilation in the bathroom with no fan (only a window). Towels weren’t replaced daily over our 3 night stay, so remained damp. Staff were lovely.

We were surprised to have underfloor heating in the bathroom, also a heated towel rail, which was turned on.

Not located in the city centre but convenient enough if you have a car (parking readily available on-site). Check-in staff were friendly and the room was very spacious and clean, with ample heating. It would have been good if the bathroom windows had fly screens so they could be left ajar without a lot of mosquitoes coming inside.

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was big & well set up. Quality furnishings & very clean. Very comfortable. This has to be without a doubt the best motel I have ever stayed in whilst travelling around NZ. Great value for money. So close to a great park & easy walk to the CBD & supermarkets.

The outside looks simple and nice. The rooms are more luxurious than you’d think, especially the bathrooms. That shower is one of the best I’ve tried in NZ. The main reason we’ll come back though is the free EV charging on the new chargers they installed. Very convenient.
