Stayed here for 5 days while a relative was in hospital. Very friendly staff, beautiful hotel, great bar and restaurant and great location. Highly recommend.

Awesome night's stay.

A lovely hotel but the view from my room was rather terrible. A roof and wall took up half of the window. A real shame because otherwise it was great. Room 418 FYI.
Additionally I was advised $25 for car parking (valet) and when I asked if their was free parking I was told that I could park outside for free - on the street between 5pm and 8am.

Beautiful clean room and loved the automatic curtains, washing/dryer in bathroom. Staff were super friendly and service was above and beyond. Stayed 3 nights and would stay again.

Inexperienced staff who a lot of them there basic English was questionable.

Stayed in the Junior Suite, it was a stunning room with quality finishes, comfy chairs, sofa and bed, and a lovely spacious bathroom. Had drinks in the bar and breakfast the following morning, all of the staff were friendly and attentive. We couldnt fault anything.
Michael
New hotel, will be some teething problems.
Surprised when receiving a bill for a coffee not ordered nor received, especially after I had checked out one day early with no refund for the night not used.

My family and I were never planning on coming to Invercargill. However an accident in Queenstown caused a family member to be hospitalized and transferred to this city for surgery. We booked the Distinction Invercargill to stay while they recovered post-operation, and the staff here went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable. The hotel staff were all extremely courteous and friendly and helped make this difficult time for our family a bit easier. We are very grateful to the excellent service from the Distinction’s incredible staff.
Tony
Very nice room, nicely appointed and helpful staff
Carole
Awesome room. Comfortable but a bit too high tech for an old chick! Got off to a bad start when my electronic key did not activate the lift. Some written instructions on heating controls and curtains (electric)would have made getting to bed a bit faster but overall a very pleasant experience. Staff friendly and helpful.
David
very good hotel, enjoyed the bar area.
The gym could have a little bit more equipment

I had the most wonderful stay here and highly recommend to anyone staying in Invercargill. Staff were all absolutely wonderful, thank you!
Karen
Lovely comfortable stay in good location.
Liddy
The room was very cleaned and spacious. We even had an in-room washer and dryer! That is very impressive. We didn’t choose breakfast because it was too expensive and we didn’t want big breakfast. But there are a lot of breakfast options nearby. There is a small problem of the shower in our room. The floor seems lower on the other side. The shower is half open (no door). Once water comes out, the entire bathroom floor, including the carpet right outside of the door, is wet. The next day, we were extremely careful when using the shower and it was OK.
Ed
The staff here were absolutely amazing! Helpful and caring - going the extra mile. We had an apartment and it was beautiful - very spacious and clean. I would stay here again absolutely. THE place to stay if you’re in Invercargill - thoroughly impressed- and we have traveled extensively.
Michael
It is a very modern hotel with all the latest amenities. It’s in a very convenient location for the town centre. However we were surprised and disappointed with the car parking arrangements.
David
