I didnt even know how to get in there was no communication of how to enter the room. Must be someones house they rent out or something in the unit block. But once i got hold of someone they messaged me codes i needed but would of been nice to have them earlier that day with communication from host/ staff.

Room was behind disgusting. Human faeces in and around the toilet. Wee all over the floor (could smell it as soon as you walked in to the bathroom) bed had hair in it. Decorative pillow was smelly and dark in stains. Toenail clippings on the balcony.

We were assured that we would get new bedding, and some more towels but did not get that.

Saturday morning I woke at 1am my last $300 was gone from my account. Someone from accounting had deducted $283 from my account and to which I called and said I need that back for the music festival we are here for and they assured me it will be in straight away using Osko. That money did not return to my bank account till Tuesday morning.

The room was not very clean. There were small bits of food (looked like cooked and dried up rice) on the floor in the kitchenette area and the dining table was visibly unclean. I was not planning on using the kitchenette or dining area, but this was still disappointing.

Check in is at 3pm so I (wrongly) assumed that check out would be at 11am. It’s not. It’s still at 10am, so I had housekeeping knocking on the door at 10.05am then 10.20am when I was still in there asking when I was leaving. When I explained my error they were not very understanding. It’s my mistake, I get that, but a little kindness goes a long way.

Approximately 2 hours after I sent the check out text, my phone rang 3 times in a row. I was in middle of something, so couldn’t answer. No voicemail was left. When it rang the fourth time, I answered and was asked by reception if I was checking out today. I explained I’d done so several hours earlier and sent the text. The man I was speaking too just said “okay thanks” and then hung up. It was odd.

The rooms were comfortable but the air conditioner was set to automatic temperature of 28degrees which was way too hot too sleep in. We had to get up during the night to turn it off and then 3 hours later it would come back on again.
The location was central but also noisy over the weekend being so close to the pubs. I also felt unsafe coming into the building at night as there were unsavoury looking people hanging by the door as I was trying to go in with one guy trying to follow behind me.

I would have liked a hair dyer as well.

No reception, You have to wait for the room to be ready before they will provide instructions on how to get in. After 3 phone calls to follow up I waited 2 hours after check time of 3pm for instructions on how to get in. Parking is an additional cost. Coffee cups in cupboard were dirty. No washing up liquid to clean already dirty cups. Unsafe area with druged out people passed out on the side walk out the front.

The room was clean and spacious, but it is quite noisy from street noise and late night pubs nearby, there is only a code system to enter the property and your room. These are text messaged you on the day of arrival.
We were there four nights and the entry code changed once in this time making it difficult to remember. Others there had been sent codes that didnt work at all, and when they try to ring the number it is a recorded message with no way of contacting anyone.
When booking parking we weren't told that parking was 200 mtrs away at the Hamilton executive apartments, so had to make multiple trips from carpark to Beaumont apartments.

A week before my check in date I was called and advised there was a maintenance issue and my booking was being moved to a different location about a 15 minute drive away. I expressed that this was not okay, that I’d chosen this location specifically because I had an event nearby and wouldn’t have transport, so moving to a new location was not feasible. The receptionist said she’d see what she would do and would call me back. 45 minutes later I received a text confirming my booking at the original location. I called the next day, since I had not been called back and wasn’t sure if the text was automated or where my booking was now located. The receptionist confirmed my booking at my chosen location, and when I asked if the maintenance issue had been resolved, they confirmed it had. I was a little confused that a maintenance issue that was so serious it meant I needed to be moved to an entirely new location was resolved in 45 minutes but apparently it was.
Upon arrival to the venue, I received a text that had codes to get into the building and the elevator, but no code to get into the room. I had to call reception and ask for the code to be resent.
On a positive note, the room was great, the location was excellent, the beds were comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and there were no other issues once we got into the room.

The property suited us for ease of appointments. I was charged twice for the accommodation,once by expedia and once by the boulevard company(They did refund the money once it was bought to they're attention). The room was showing it's age and although fairly clean there was a cigarette butt on the window sill above the bed,marks on some walls and some debris on the floor and the bed was rock hard, so did not have a good sleep. Simply I would not stay there again

This property was absolutely disgusting. The smell was like old sewage as soon as we opened the door. Every single surface was filthy. The beds had been slept in and bedding not changed as you could see the indent on the mattress plus sheets were untucked. I spoke with 3 different people from
The property and was told an hour later that a cleaner would come and clean the property however we had already left. My mum was in Newcastle for cancer treatment and could not stay there. We were offered a refund from one of the staff members however 5 minutes later some dude called tony Jesmond called back screaming and shouting like a 2 year old child saying that he was not going to refund us. He demanded again details of the concerns we had about the property which I had now told 3 different people and provided video footage of the state of the place and tried to deny that it was accurate. I still have not been refunded from either Expedia or directly from the property. Absolutely revolting place and even worse response from a grown ass man yelling at a woman over the phone.

My recent stay was not the best experience, I had issues with conflicting check in information, parking and accessing the floor that our room was on. The actual room itself was nice and suited our purposes well. There was an issue with one of the windows that meant that due to the very windy night there was a lot of howling coming from the window. I contacted them regarding the issues that I had and they replied with an apology email which was not just a generic apology but addressed each of the issues that I had. I have stayed at a different apartment owned by the same company and did not have any issues with that check in at all.

My stay was from the Wednesday, leaving on Sunday.
During the week, it was quiet, however on Friday night one of the residents decided to have a party with loud music and talking till approx. 4am Saturday morning.

I also had issues with the Wi-Fi and ended up using my phone hotspot.

The unit was clean and bed comfortable, I especially like to air con & heating.

The real negative for me was the parking issue. To be charged $25 per night for parking - NOT happening and for a solo traveller, parking late a night in side streets and having to walk, I wasn't a fan of having to do this.

Over all, it was a good stay - not sure I'd book this again.

This property is not represented accurately on Wotif. There is no reception and bar. Entry codes were sent by text message. This misrepresentation is a large part of my poor rating.

The signage was poor at the entry. We did not know if we were in the right place as there is signage for another business (which was opposite our room) in the lift foyer but none for the accommodation.

It was adequate accommodation otherwise, although the images make it look much bigger. The bedroom in our one-bedroom apartment was barely bigger than the king-size bed and the toilet was hard up against the vanity. But the apartment was clean even though tired (e.g. unpainted repairs to walls, flaking upholstery on chair). The smoke detector was still hanging from the ceiling which suggests a poor commitment to safety and maintenance. A lot of traffic noise even on the 3rd floor with the window closed.

It was cheap.

Good pub meal at the Exchange Hotel Bistro a block away.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences ever. The first major complaint is that despite several conversations with staff during the week & our request for a sofa bed double bed & promises this was arranged - we got a lounge. Despite numerous calls to correct nothing could be done, just excuses. Then the smoke detector had fallen out of the ceiling before we arrived - clearly like that for ages, totally unsafe. Peeling walls, lights not working, sulphur smell in the water - an utter disgrace. WOTIF needs to take these critical issues up with the owners for urgent attention & a full refund. OF course - we would NEVER come back & have let all our friends know to beware, their communication is totally untrustworthy & property is UNSAFE.

Satisfactory - would probably use again.

Communication a d check in procrsses all handled remotely. It took three or four phone calls to eventually recieve checkin instructions.
There was no onsite parking available, apparently... there was different information provided by different people. This was a disadvantage for people with mobility issues.
The king sized bed was a bit overwhelming for the main room which made getting to the ensuite bathroom somewhat difficult.
The accommodation (2bed apartment)was satisfactory, and spacious for a group of three. The three giant tvs were an excellent addition!
The location was noisy but the room we were allocated was right on the corner facing a busy intersection.

Have stayed here several times previously and was extremely impressed.
I was somewhat disappointed this time in the cleanliness of 301. Body hairs in shower/basin. The glass tabletops were icky, washing powder and used packets beside the washing machine and wall made me wonder just how clean the place was. I soon found out after a walking barefoot and leaving black footprints on the white bathroom tiles. There was no hot water for a long period in the morning either. I am hoping this was a one off as its such a handy spot.

Pictures are deceiving! There is no front desk at this property despite what the pictures show. Also, the unit I was given was very dark with a window facing the alley and very close to the brick wall of the next building despite all the photos showing large windows with lots of natural light. Toilet would not stop running. 2 ceiling light fixtures did not work. A live band started playing somewhere nearby shortly after I checked in. I left 2 hours after checking and and went to a better hotel. Expedia was super helpful in reaching out to the property regarding the issues, but my refund request was denied. Paid for 3 nights but only stayed 2 hours. I did not read the reviews carefully enough on this property. Lesson learned.

They are good size rooms, but the beds were hot, as they waterproof matress protectors on them. It's also very noisy with street noise, and there was flooding in the foyer on Sunday morning. The bathrooms were very outdated and there was a lot of drilling noise coming from works in the building.

Although I had booked on the same day and payment was accepted, it was very stressful arriving without the adequate code access information when I arrived to the property. Eventually with a couple of phone calls later, accessed the codes I needed for the Foyer, Lift and Room. As it took extra time to sort out how to access the building/room, I missed a meeting. I didn't bother using the carpark and parked a block away. The room is really quite spacious with a comfortable bed and pillows, kitchen facilities with a full size fridge and clean bathroom, toiletries with soft towels. Although crockery and cutlery is supplied, I did need to wash them before use as they were not clean. Appreciated the tea/coffee/biscuits after travelling - thank you.

I was travelling with 4 friends and we booked 3 rooms but on a rival found that the 4 friends had been given rooms in another hotel in Newcastle. without notification
As we were in one car this was impossible.
we ended up having to share a room as it was the only way to stay together.

The shower curtain was old and dirty and had hair all over it. The floor hadn’t been vacuumed or mopped. I’ve posted some pictures of the general state of the property.

First thing we saw when we got off the elevator was an offensive message written on the wall, I’ve chosen not to post the pictures I took of it.

It is in a shared building but someone should have taken care of it.

I have raised these issues with the property and had no response so I’ve written this review.

Amazing customer service, staff were incredibly helpful with check in and out process and booking. Pricing and facilities are great!

However, the mattress on the main bed was heavily worn to the point the cushion felt non-existent, the cushion level was below the frame level making it very uncomfortable feeling the frame between the two single beds. In addition, there was also a very odd smell to the bed which made it very difficult to sleep too, to the point where it gave me a headache and I had to sleep on the other single bed.

Checking in….wow! What a debacle.
There is no front desk, no face to face. It’s all done via phone- sending pics of your ID, then a selfie(seriously). Then waiting around for a code to enter the building….after waiting 15mins for a code-I got the wrong code and made multiple calls to these people.
There’s no way someone not savvy with their phone could check in this way…it took me 45mins standing around outside of the building sending I’d pics/selfies trying to get checked in. Parking was extra and all booked out anyway.

The unit was well appointed and comfy, walls were dirty.

The communication was average. Called the number and the person I spoke to had no idea about the property. Power went out at 8pm and didn’t return at all- no refund until I called the property and they were very rude and tried to fob me off. The customer service it terrible and the property is average. Beds very uncomfortable. Good luck!
