Handy locaation to where we had to go. No parking available, had to park 1/2km away. Room not 100% clean, previous guests water bottle sitting on ground next to chair not even spotted and thrown out by cleaner. Lounge chair & Carpet appeared to have been blood stained previously so new carpet needed. Hot water took forever to come through to shower. We were woken up approx 3:30am with 20mins of noise that appepared to be people throwing very heavy and noisy items into a bin truck or trailer. Got room cheap enough but you pay for what you get.

Bass from some establishment downstairs was constant. I arrived at around 4:00 and into the night it went, without ever stopping.

There is an huge staircase, approximately 24 stairs, that you have to lug luggage up - no prior notification that there’s no lift. This is an issue for people with health problems who can’t lug heavy suitcases up staircases and it should have been stated.

In the room I was allocated, there’s no power point next to the bed side tables so you can’t sit on the bed and do things on your phone while it charges.

I was given a late check out but it looks like the tradies scheduled there that day were not informed and three of them came into my room in the morning.

Everything is done digitally here as there is no reception/front desk. There is no one on site (apart from the cleaners in the morning). My flight was at 4:20pm and because there’s no reception area, there was nowhere for me to leave my luggage for the day while I waited for my flight. I had to wheel it around the streets with me all day. Another thing that wasn’t made clear prior to booking. The best they were willing to offer me was to keep my luggage in the cleaners’ room until noon when they finish - for, get this: $40!!! I’ve never stayed at a hotel in my life that charges for holding luggage!

I won’t be back due to the above issues, but if these things don’t bother you, the room was quite big, very clean and in the best location for food options you could want.

Perfect overnight stay

Only there for a night but it was everything we needed. Restaurants and bars downstairs that can also provide breakfast. (Try the Overtime cafe, it is great)
Was a bit worried about the possible noise from the street but all was quiet.
Would recommend to anyone.

There was no tissue box in the room and one of the bed (Queen bed) mattress was very togh and uncomfortable (half bed, one out of two matresses, was aged and worn off, could feel the springs). Otherwise the studio was very clean and in central location.

Has a different feel, no visible staff or front desk but all instructions were sent via SMS.
Perhaps let patrons know this was going to happen, I virtually walked to the single front door not knowing what was happening.
However all worked out fine and very easy.

Absolutely no parking- annoying having to park a couple of hundred metres away and drag luggage....then faced with stairs to get the bags up. Over priced, substandard beds, no lamps, nowhere to sit and have a coffee or read a book. Towels were stained, floors stained and dirty. Has potential though!!

Staff were not aware or familiar of the property they were supplying their information from a cheat sheet and did not vary from it. There were not able to provide parking info except a street name of where there was council parking (limited) location of property on the main street so had to constantly move the car/s. Parking was 15 min, 30 kins, 2 hours until 5pm. Lifts not working, does not accommodate for more than 1 night stay, had to find out where to take rubbish and recyclables. Buy own garbage bags, dishwashing liquid and there was no toaster. It must be generally occupied by young adults particular like the 1am, 2am. 3.30am, 4am and 5.30am wake up calls with patrons banging on our door drunk not remembering what room they were in, certainly not suitable for families or young children (up to 12). Text messages from virtual reception were delayed and took several attempts. Although the room was good to sleep in and bathroom was decent. I know that this is not the best place to stay again for our needs.

Definitely not a good choice for families or the elderly. The room itself was well equipped and comfortable. But all other aspects of this property were less than satisfactory for us. The front door code didn’t work so I had to phone to get a new code. The lift was out of order so access is up a very steep flight of stairs which was a real issue for my 93 year old mother. The apartments are above a restaurant precinct and the loud music from the bar below didn’t stop until 11.30pm on a Tuesday night.

Poor customer service, couldn’t check in on time (2pm) due to no access and no response so we were left out on the street with our bags and no where to go. We were very late to a pre-planned event we had tickets to, all due to incompetence and organisation from the very start with this place. Sadly disappointed, dissatisfied and a waste of my money.

Nothing fancy. Frustrated with lack of communication and time of replying when booking in. There was no mention of parking only in a busy street and having to climb a long staircase. The bathroom had no towel rails and no hand rail in the shower floor was very slippery when wet. Certainly did not live up to the sound of its name.

For the price & location this property was very good. The only thing was- I can only assume it was the cleaner trying to enter the apartment at 9.45. When we said our checkout was 10am. Feel like privacy was violated as it was 2 young women & one was in the bathroom. Please pass on to whoever it was, that this is not acceptable.

Overall, simple but effective property. Have stayed previously with no complaint. This particular room had a broken shower (water) handle. The room door was also opaque and let bright light in throughout the night. I woke up at 1:30am thinking it was 6:30am. Needs a blind or something.

I gave this to my daughter as we were unable to stay. She said the mould in the shower was terrible. She had trouble getting in with the instructions and it seemed unsafe. I then had to find her emergency accommodation as it was her birthday. So she was there for 1hr and left the premises. Very disappointed.

Dont understand why the front door of the apartment is frosted. It allows light to come through all night making it difficult to sleep, room doesnt get dark also when people walk past the automatic lights come on causing light to come into the room. Great location. Lots of places to eat that are all on the same street. Very secure and quiet rooms. Only fault was the bedside tables were missing bedside lamps (the only light was the main ceiling light). Otherwise everything else about the room was great.

I got a pretty standard room, great for the price i paid. It was clean and all the amenities were fully functional. Would recommend for an affordable room for a night. I wasnt a fan of the pillows though. If you are fussy like me bring your own.

This studio had a keypad entry. My children and I were locked out of appartment on more than one occasion because the key pad batteries were flat. I couldn’t get a hold of anyone to help me as there is not reception desk. My kids were super upset and all our belongings were inside and I thought I was going to have to ring the police to break into the building.

The door code provided to me didn’t work when I got to the property. There were no clear contact details in the emails or txt I received. The phone numbers on the door weren’t working. This was an unfortunate start to the day.

The room had one small window and felt a little claustrophobic.

However I would stat here again.

I’m not one to give bad reviews but this was unfortunately very disappointing. We were meant to stay in a different place but due to circumstances we were moved to this place. The room wasn’t very modern which is what we originally booked, the bathroom wasn’t very clean and there were cockroaches all the through the room. One of the lights didn’t work. There were substance markings on the bed of who knows what. Overall we were quiet disappointed with what we ended up staying in. What we paid for was meant to be nice and modern and we got downgraded a lot!!
