No fridge in room, old carpet smell, air-conditioning did not work at all, old bed and uncomfortable. Non soundproof rooms means you can hear everything. Ty v too small. Great location but someone was using a drill at 3.30-4am in the mornin.

Very basic facilities. No fridge in the room, or jug for making tea and coffee in the room. Nowhere to put your suitcases, my wife had to put hers on the bedside table and mine on the floor. A little shared kitchenette down the end of the hallway with only a little shared barfridge, which is inadequate and inconvenient. We were disappointed with the room and considering the price , probably wouldn't stay again

Not worth the price. Room smelt strange. Very misleading photographs, there are 0 amenities in this room, and no breakfast facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very run down and shabby. Definitely not worth $180 a night. Very disappointing.

I was surprised to find this was a pub with rooms above. Consequently pretty noisy. Room was tiny with no room for hanging clothes or fridge/jug for making a cuppa. Room was clean but hallways and stairways felt unkept and a bit grubby. Just not at all what I was expecting.

Nearly a very good accommodation experience.

The hotel location was very convenient for us and the menu lunch and dinner very enjoyable.
Room was quiet and quite spacious.
The serious downside was the lack of a mini fridge and kettle IN OUR EN SUITE ROOM.
With the shared fridge and kettle it was somewhere between a ‘Pub room ‘ and a completely comfortable , nicely carpeted 2.5 * hotel room .
A good experience somewhat spoiled by penny pinching!

I arrived at a very busy time and had to wait for a little while before I was served and that’s ok as the staff were polite and courteous. When we enetered the accomodation corridor from the bar there was a fusty smell which was also present in the room. The room was a little small but ok for one night. Air conditioning worked well. The bed was very bouncy and any slight move from my partner it sent ripples through the bed so we both didn’t have a great sleep. The shower was good and hot water with ok pressure but a little mould in the grout. My towel had clearly been washed but it was rather stained. There was a little noise in the room emanating from the bar when it was open but that must be anticipated when staying at a pub. Overall ok for one nights stay.

I recently stayed at the Sunny Side Tavern and had a pleasant experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tidy, which I really appreciated. However, the in-house tea and coffee left much to be desired. I was provided a coffee pod but there was no coffee maker to use it with. Despite this minor inconvenience, the stay was nice enough, and overall, I enjoyed my time there.

Check was a breeze, nice staff, family room was quite musty when we entered and had to air room for an hour or more. Was a reasonably quiet night at pub downstairs but still quite audible in room directly above main bar. Bathroom was ok but did have mould in places. While room can take 5 occupants (what we booked) no change to configuration (we added comment for a trundle) for 3rd child. Made do with kids blankets and ottomans.
Ok for what we needed following show at entertainment centre (10min walk) but just old school pub accomodation.

Water pressure to shower in room 9 was pathetic. Shower head was also falling off the wall. Other than that all good. Would suggest that the minimal expense involved in installing a kettle and small fridge in each room would be a good improvement.

It was too out of the way for my liking.A very small shopping centre nearby with supermarket.No other dining/eating places apart from Bistro which did have nice food.I caught an Uber which was easy but no local buses etc.Served my purposes but wouldnt use it again.

Was told it was rated 8.2 out of 10 but wouldn’t give the accommodation more than a 6. Room smelled musty upon entry and curtains and carpet needed a good air and clean. Bathroom was modern but small and how hard is it to install some hooks for your new and worn clothes and your towel. And don’t start me on the fact that NO fridge or kettle was in the room. Plenty of room for both and barely a $500 spend would have made this a much better experience. Had to ask for bowls and cutlery and tea and coffee but no instant was available. And just be warned if you’re a senior that all their rooms are up a steep flight of stairs and the car park is very small before you’re out parked on a Main Street. Did I mention the pub is situated between a busy road and a rail line. Oh, and there were either rats or possums scratching above our ceiling most of the 3 night booking so that was entertaining. So yes, 6 was a high rating now thinking back. But the bed was very comfy and the food down below was excellent and the bar service was great. But a little bit of expense and effort from them would help have a much more enjoyable stay. Sorry guys, but Definitely not a honeymoon destination.

Sunnyside Tavern had an excellent restaurant. Quality food with big portions. It is located within a short walk of McDonell Jones Stadium and other sporting grounds including the International Hockey Centre. All staff were friendly and helpful. Although located in an industrial area we didn't hear any noise during our 3 nights there.

Room1 - The toilet paper roll holder was broken. 1 of the towel provided was dirty. There was an insect in the bulb holder within the bathroom. No tissues were provided. The room looked quite dated.
Room 2 - Water pressure from the shower was very slow. The bedsheet was not cleaned. There were hairs on the bed.

We arrived at the property went to our room found no fridge no kettle to make any coffee or tea we had to go to a community kitchen in this present time with COVID we would not know who had handled the ke titles or jugs we had to pods of coffee and 2milk no tea not every body drinks coffee. I and my wife would not recommend this place to anyone else as I s@id we had to ask for a bath mat no fridge to keep any cold not good enough.

Location is really convenient and straightforward walk to /from the train station. A comfortable tidy and clean room, everything you need whilst there, the basics.
Maybe something to suggest is asking/reminding all guests to be considerate of others also staying there. Eg.Someone liked walking/ stomping up and down the hallway a lot. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay for what I needed and will look you up in future. Thank you!

For what I call Pub accommodation I found it very modern and comfortable. I paid a little more and had my own bathroom and it was worth it. Whilst tea and coffee was available you have to use the shared kitchen to utilise. But there was a fridge, microwave and toaster available. Nice place to stay a night whilst travelling.

Was close to the venue we were visiting and bed was comfortable. Ensuite bathroom was mouldy and the sewerage smell was pretty bad. Advertised with tea and coffee facilities in room but the facilities are a small communal kitchenette with one coffee pod and one teabag provided for each guest...and nowhere to buy a coffee in walking distance. Back stairs for after hours access are horrific...like scaffolding and doubtful they meet any building codes. Not exactly what we were expecting and would not stay again.

Excellent value for the price. I had the double with a bathroom and it was clean and comfortable. The pub down below was completely packed with Saturday night revellers and hardly any sound came up to the room. Off street parking next to the pub. Staff were friendly and helpful.
