Nice hotel- staff friendly and room was clean and well appointed. Not far from many spots, but not a \"nice\" area for walking. Underground parking was very expensive ($38/night) with tight entrance & poor signage for exit.

This is a great property and I have stayed here before. The hot tub could use some attention as the bottom and seats have debris which needs to be vacuumed out. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, the property was clean and the rooms spacious.

Hot tub was great but do wish had a pool for kids we were a little disappointed only hot tub when we arrived . Hotel photos looked like a pool . Also wish they had buffet breakfast . Staff were the best . The security guard was the best helped me bring my terminal ill daughter into the hotel and allowed me to take her to the room before parking my car.

We had some issues with getting in after hours. Our key did not work, and then our key didn’t work in the elevator. So then the clerk came and said he had the only key that would work for the elevator after hours. It was super inefficient today the least.

Had a two night stay and had the worst hotel experience ever. Night 1 minus 15 outside and patio door would not close properly hence cold draft all night, second day asked to change rooms and they put us in a room with no hot water. Two hours before checkout the next morning hot water worked. Provided us with a free breakfast and didnt charge us for parking….. but charged full price for the two nights. I will never go back.

This hotel is very clean and room is very nice and large. The hotel is not walking distance if you’re planning on seeing a game or concert but it is a short uber ride away. Parking is very convient. For the price it was outstanding and we would stay here again.

Everything was great, rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful, the hot tub was great and good amenities.
My only complaint is the cheap toilet paper and stingy with the toilet paper and Kleenex supply.
We had to ask for Kleenex and toilet paper twice.
Room was cleaned and they forgot to replenish
supplies and towels. Likely just an oversight…
Otherwise great **** stars.

Parking and access is a bit confusing and $35/day for parking (underground) is a bit pricey.

My room. The blankets had brown stains all over it, asked for a new blanket due to the stains, and I was given a small comforter/blanket compare to the original one. Towels both had stains on them as well. I took photos of the room as it was absolutely disgusting.

Room, was nice as always, staff is friendly.. couple things this time around and usually I don’t have anything bad to say. We didn’t get out cookies on check-in, I asked to be out at the end of a hall we were out by the elevator. People early in the morning talked loudly and woke me up… this happened more then once. Usually you get an option of sit down breakfast or menu. This time we only got buffet option and it was in a cold conference room and the food was only warm, not hot. It was still tasty tho and the staff were amazing and friendly and smiling.

i chose this hotel based on the pictures of it but we arrived it was absolutely nothing like the pictures shown, very disappointing. The pictures showed this beautiful grand modern lobby however it was small and nothing like advertised. The area surrounding the hotel was extremely sketchy. Boarded up building with a group of people hanging around it all night, police came by twice to remove them. we were charged $35 to park underground in the hotel, as guest of the hotel i think thats crazy considering the choices of outdoor public parking in a run down area were the only other options. The Hot tub was nice and the room was clean and comfortable. The tvs in the rooms aren’t equipped with access to netflix or anything, not even a guide that shows what’s on, no microwave either. All in all we won’t be back and i don’t recommend it.

We stayed here for one night to go to watch the Oilers game the hotel is nice, clean & comfortable and offers a huge hot tub and workout room. They have a good dinning option for breakfast and dinner. Was a 15 minute walk to the Roger’s Arena so perfect for games/concerts.

For a room that cost $371 and didn’t even have AC!
We were appalled with the treatment we received from the staff at Double Tree Hilton in Edmonton Downtown.
After realizing the ac was not working, my partner and I spoke to the front desk in person that night and was told that most of their hotel rooms acs were not working. We asked for fans and they had none they could offer nor did they have a maintenance man on site.
The hotel room was 88 degrees Fahrenheit and as a result, we did not have a peaceful sleep (if we managed to get any sleep at all).
We even attempted to the cool the room down by leaving our door open into the hallway; as it was cooler in there than in the room.
The next morning - we did mention about the heat and the lack of working ac. As a result, the staff waved the $35 parking fee.. which was not even an eighth of what we wished we could had been credited back.
Perhaps even $100-$150 back would be better.
All in all, will never stay here again.

We had to book this room as our Vrbo cancelled last minute. The room was ok, dated and slightly worn down (carpet had come unattached at the bathroom leaving the nail board exposed, few stains on the wall etc ) not that I would usually complain about these things, but at $1250 per night, and the highest tier of room that the hotel offers, I did expect it to be flawless. I’m just happy they were able to get the ac working after we checked in, it was 85* upon entry to the room. All in all it was clean and located close to our venue. Front desk staff was nice and courteous. I have stayed in other high end hotels at nicer rooms for half the price ( Davenport, Marriott’s etc ) I understand surge pricing but this was a tad bit ridiculous.

Waited 40 minutes for fries in the lounge while we waited for our room to be ready. Lobby was chaos at check-in time and they ran out of clean rooms. Finally got into our room at 4:30 and had to rush to ready and out the door for the concert we were in town to see. Staff were mildly apologetic but it was an unpleasant experience. Room overlooking the river was beautiful, I only wish we’d had more time to enjoy it. And what looks like a pool in the photos is actually a large hot tub.

The room had very little light even with all of the lights and lamps turned on. The bathroom was clean but a little dated and it didn’t have a cosmetic mirror on the wall which I find most hotels do.

The front desk let us check in early which was lovely and we received two text messages from them asking if we needed anything and how our stay was which I thought was nice.

The price was good and I feel we got what we paid for. We would stay there again the next time we are back in Edmonton for a concert. If it wasn’t for the concert we wouldn’t stay downtown in that area.

Upon arriving, knowing that all hotels are sold out for the weekend due to the Morgan Wallen Concert, we knew accommodations, restaurants, the city itself would be extremely busy and requires patience. We arrive to our hotel after a 3 hour drive, to a 30+ minute wait in line to check in. They only had two staff, at one point one staff, to check in a huge line up of guests. Two groups ahead of us warned us that they are checking out, because the AC was not working on the 3rd floor. They had to sleep with their door open. Once we got to talk to front desk, I asked to not be put into 3rd floor. But we had no choice because not a single room was ready for us to check in other than then the room they assigned us (mind you I was sent two emails to remind me that check in is at 4pm) we got to front desk at 4:57pm. The second room I booked for my friend, 824, was not ready. They said we have to wait 30-40 mins for them to clean the room. We had a concert to get to at 5;30pm. Front desk said to come back to pick up keys when the room is ready. We all went up to our room, after grabbing water up at the 2nd floor, and the room that was assigned was in the middle of getting cleaned. No AC working, carpet was wet because something was spilled- smelled AWEFUL. We had no time to do anything because we had our concert to get to. front desk told get the 2nd booking room key, room that wasn’t ready this is at 5:36p. 12:27am next day and room still not ready. The room they finally got 2/5.

The hotel was new, staff was great, and the rooms were clean but I was staying with my daughter and didn’t realize the street directly beside the hotel was quite sketchy and unsafe to walk at night. Many transient folk sitting on the street, witnessed someone getting arrested within minutes of arriving.

The room wasn't very clean, there were leftovers form a previous guest in the fridge, and the shower had hair in it. It overall didn't feel very clean, the bed was hard the AC was loud. The TV was broken and I couldn't get the wifi working. Took me 3 tries to get ahold of room service. Would not stay again or recommend. The front desk manager was very good and eficient.

From check in to check out double tree made our stay memorable. The area around can be a deterrent for some but the homeless around don’t seem to be aggressive, but stay guarded and use caution anytime. The LRT is close, about a 17min walk to Roger’s place.

Edmonton occasionally has a stench of sewage. That’s infrastructure and nothing the hotel can do. Our room was clean, and in the closet there was removable hangers which was a win for me. Everything worked. You can tell they have made some renovations. You can’t make an old building brand new and if you fix your high standard will find it is perfect.

Whirlpool is nice with jets, the breakfast was extra for us, no buffet style, it was delicious, parking is 35. Convenience and proximity to Roger’s place for the win!

Everything starting with check in was top notch. Taran was great, prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. The inside of the hotel was very clean. The only thing with this hotel was the fact that there were many homeless or addicts in the area. More of an eye sore for the area. With that being said we never felt unsafe. There was always security or police patrols in the area so I would say we felt extra safe. We would walk from the hotel downtown and we walked to and from a concert at Roger’s place. Did not feel unsafe but as two single women we did remain aware of the area. Special thanks to Front staff Samuel for going the extra mile and assisting us far beyond what would be expected. He was very friendly and personable. Always smiling and very knowledgeable about the area.

We stayed here for The Weeknd’s concert and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The location is super convenient, just a short walk to the station, which made getting to and from the venue easy. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming and the hotel itself was spotless and well-maintained . Would stay here again!

We stayed at the Hilton in downtown Edmonton. Once inside the facility it was nice and inviting. The chocolate chip cookie was 10/10! We paid an extra $35 a night to park inside because it is extremely unsafe in the area. The view from the hotel is homeless people all around and dirty windows. There is no free parking outside either. To get inside you need to squeeze between this tiny garage door to the underground parking. Once inside it was very nice minus the flickering fluorescent lights. Elevators were great. Room was great but not worth the price in my opinion. It was just like any other hotel. We also had to buy breakfast vouchers. You get a choice of breakfast items. There is no continental breakfast which I was under the impression of. Breakfast tasted great but it was just your average hotel continental breakfast items if you know what I mean. Ok so the part that totally floored me, to exit the underground parking you have to go up the out ramp and then get out of your vehicle and push the open door button to get out of the parkade. In my opinion I wouldn’t stay again, I can stay elsewhere and have more amenities for a cheaper price.
