It was very stinky as soon as we walked in we had to run and open the window so we don’t pass out. There no soap or body wash at all in the shower. There was the smallest little soap you have ever seen for the sink to wash your hand if you shad hands of a 2 year old. They provided the smallest little shampoo and conditioner bottle that again was as small as your pinky height. And that was it. Glad it had toilet paper. The tv forget it if u want to watch a show be prepared to watch people with hues of the simpsons skin. Glad we only had to stay one night. Also they charge parking $10.50/night in a very suspicious little underground parkade.

Parking here is always super easy and secure. I hope with the new renovation they will update the shower taps and faucets, the water and pressure is nice and warm. It just takes a bit of fiddling to get them set. Always a great stay and I would recommend it.

The staff and location were good, unfortunately both our bathroom sink and the shower were extremely clogged, as soon as you turned the tap on to wash your hands or anything it filled and wouldn’t drain. Made showering and brushing our teeth pretty gross….

The staff were all very friendly, but the inside of the hotel, especially on the 5th floor, was incredibly hot. I had to leave my window open and it barely helped. I also had a fan in my bathroom that I couldn't figure out how to turn off and it was very loud. The room itself was nice, though I see why they are renovating because everything is extremely dated. There was lots of parking though.

The mattress needs to be updated. No support and especially not for adult sleeping. The pillows were too flat and soft. No firm mattress no support pillows hard to get comfortable and have a decent sleep. Unfortunately we won’t be back with bad backs it was not good rest for seniors.

My only complaint is the heat was out of control on my floor it was 80 F . I opened the window not much helped. Had to keep open all night so I also got to hear the great city noises. It is undergoing upgrades and they were working on the problem. I will stay here again.

Location was great, front desk staff were lovely. Room was clean however the AC/fan did NOT work so it made for a hot and stuffy room (thank god the windows opened). Bed was pretty stiff and not the most comfortable. They are doing reno’s so hopefully these issues get resolved!

This is our place to stay when needed in Edmonton. Easy to locate. No heavy traffic. No guessing how to drive in as in hotels closer to city outskirts. Convenience of a restaurant just thru the doors vs going outside & walking or driving. Room always clean except this time would have loved to have a fridge.

Stayed at Days Inn and overall had a decent visit. The room itself was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable, which made for a good stay. The front desk staff were especially friendly and helpful, which we really appreciated.

The main downside was the noise—there was quite a bit coming from adjoining rooms and outside our room late at night, which made it harder to sleep.

That said, we still had a nice visit with friends, and the comfort and cleanliness of the room were definitely positives.

Best part about this property was location..its a short walk to the ice district and the arena. The hotel itself was undergoing renovations during daylight hours. Staff was courteous and friendly. Unfortunately the room we stayed in was not well kept. Both beds were sacked out, drapes were worn through and had holes in them which let the sun through in the mornings, no AC..pillows were tiny and terrible..end table had some sort of glue on it which made it look dirty..Definitely stayed in worse but it will be interesting to see what the property is like post renovations..

The room was clean, but in poor condition. No microwaves or fridges in each room. You need to request these but by the time I knew this, it was too late. For a Days Inn, this isn't a hotel I will return to. I hope after the renos they have better amenities.

The whole hotel was hot. Everywhere. I had to sleep with my window open due to the ac not being able to keep the room cool. There was a fan in the room but it didn’t work so the steam from the shower didn’t help the room coolness. There was construction happening and not at the right hours.

There was some friendly staff but also some very rude. Overall my experience was not good.

Check in was smooth. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Room was clean, when we asked for extra towels, no problem. There was no fridge in the room but when asked, it was there within 5 minutes. The Days Inn is always our "go to" when we go to Oiler games, its all about location, 5 walkable blocks away. We will always come back!

We have stayed at the Days Inn by Wyndham Edmonton Downtown before and decided to return — and once again, we had a good experience.

The hotel is quiet, cozy, and clean, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

Since the hotel is located in downtown Edmonton, there are quite a few homeless people in the area, so it’s something to be aware of, especially in the evening.

That said, we still had a positive stay and would recommend this hotel.

PS: The hotel offers underground parking, which is very convenient. However, the clearance is quite low, so it’s important to pay attention if you have a taller vehicle, as ours could not fit.

No mini fridge, really tight parking unless you take up 2 spots, weird set up for the bathroom. One of the employees gave me attitude when I said I didn’t have a credit card for the damage deposit, then charged me 350$ on my debt for the deposit, I’ve only ever heard of hotels charging 200$ for the deposit if it’s on debt so I thought 350$ was steep.

It's a comfortable reasonably priced hotel in downtown. This was the second time I've stayed there in the last month. The first stay was problem free, however the second time, construction began in the room above me early in the morning until i checked out. It might not have bothered me if they were upfront about the ongoing renovation prior to booking, however their was warning provided.
