The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was amazing with lots of great options. The property was quiet and relaxing, which made the stay even better. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

Not Marriott standards!!! You have to pay $45 a night to park, the valet parking is a joke. They have an ice bucket in the room with no ice machines. The bottles of water in the room are $3 each. No service at all, no one helps with luggage, no check-ins. Would never return.

There was a gym on the 8th floor and my room was below it. I woke up to the sound of someone running on a treadmill and later in the morning trying to work from my room, sounded liked weights were going to come through the ceiling. When I called reception they were quick to move me to a quiet room.
Parking was $45 a night!
Not much within easy or safe-feeling walk in terms of dinner options.
Beautiful view from the restaurant.
Lobby feels clinical and cold.

Overall a nice stay. Clean room, everything worked. Food was decent (burger very good). The proximity of the smaller bar area to the foyer's outside doors made dining while watching some sports quite cold with people coming in and out of the hotel.

Room was decent , fridge was set to room temp. Upon check out i got charged for a water in the room I did not even touch, let alone open . The only real helpful person was the valet driver. Everything else 1 star. They are stealing from the guests.

Clean hotel, comfortable sleep. They have a lovely restaurant according to the menu, but I do wish it was more inclusive to dietary restrictions, such as celiac disease. I had to uber in food because there was nothing celiac friendly on the menu that was also pescatarian/vegetarian. Other than that, the staff were friendly. Wondering why I haven't received the remaining deposit back after the one night stay (aside from the parking), as I only slept in the room for 6 hours and used nothing else. I was told it would be credited back at check out. But overall, a good stay.

The free breakfast was for only 1 of our party of 3 so that sucked. Parking is an additional $45 so keep that in mind when budgeting. Also, for the cost of the room ($$$$) they still wanted an additional $25 for an hour extension/late checkout. The room was clean, the location suited our need to be very close to the convention centre. Just do not wander far on foot as the location is not very far from the \"bad\" area in Edmonton

The staff here are so friendly and incredibly helpful. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel (room service) and this was also a great experience and the food was delicious. A little bit of noise from the room above and loud neighbours slamming their door but not the hotels fault. Would recommend this hotel and we will stay here again.

We stayed in one of the Jr Executive rooms. The room is big. The bed was not comfortable for our liking as the mattress was too soft and you will sink eventually. Kids did not like the mattress as well. The sofa bed was not good at all the mattress was not usable as it was maybe too old? Not firm at all. We requested a rolling bed which was very good single bed size very good mattress. We missed the parking part which ends up to be $45 per day. Bistro not very child friendly for food. Wifi was good we were 5 with all using electronics so no complains. Tv you can login to your own Netflix. Overal due to the mattress not comfortable we might not stay there again if we don’t have to.

Our subpar experience started right at check-in when we were ignored by the front desk agent. The valet acknowledged us twice and after the second time, went to find a different front desk agent (who started our check in and then was pushed out of the way by the agent who ignored us). No one answered the room service call so we went down and ordered to go from the restaurant and took it up to our room on our own. On our second evening, I asked front desk to please send up extra towels because housekeeping had not replenished our towels. 1.5 hours later, I called back down and again asked for the towels. On the morning of check-out, I called the valet and asked for our vehicle to brought to the door in 30 minutes. When we arrived to the door, no vehicle, and they hadn't even started it yet to warm it up.

Hotel is clean and modern. Staffing is a major issue.

Everyone was very helpful, what a pleasant experience. Large rooms with a view of the river. Ample space in the bathroom with deep tub though I didn't have a chance to use it.
Only suggestion would be Marriott to let customers use YouTube as a guest insted of needing to sign in, because other hotels have this feature.

While the hotel, room and beds were wonderful, my experience with morning staff was not great. I missed an early morning call to the room, that was meant to deliver the information that my vehicle had been broken into. When I checked out, I spoke directly with an employee who mentioned nothing about the state of my vehicle. I discovered the damage when I walked to my vehicle to load my luggage. I returned to the hotel front desk where they seemed unbothered by the fact that a guests property was damaged. They offered me a garbage bag, tape and scissors to clean up and repair. The manager was very unprofessional, unhelpful and unempathetic to the situation. While I understand that the parking lot is publicly owned, and not affiliated with the hotel; if the hotel is going to encourage guests to park there, as well as have no availability for more secure parking for a factory standard sized vehicle; then the hotel needs to assume more responsibility. I am not impressed with how this situation was handled and I’ve been let down by Marriot as well as the city of Edmonton.

This took about 2 hours where the maintenance guys was in our room and we were displaced. Feel like we should have been compensated.

We enjoyed the Resturant and its staff were awesome. Check-in was great. Elevator was a bit confusing as we couldn’t visit family on 10 Floor tgey had to come get us, this seemed to be an issuer the first day tgen all was good. Checked with desk and they said it was a security thing. We enjoyed our stay and we will

Wanted to try your igloo dining but they were booked so maybe next time.

I had to cancel our edmonton trip on short notice due to sickness of my wife and grandmother. Property offered nothing. Most other properties will allow short notice cancellation. Book close to 200 hotel rooms a year for business myself and customers. This property only cares about money, not the customer.

Inflated prices , taking advantage of two significant events happening that weekend,,, one being our companies annual function, extra fee for early checkin when A) in 20 years of staying in the Courtyard Marriott Downtown Edmonton ,, we've never had to pay one B) the room was already clean so no one was inconvenienced
On top of inflated prices ,, one of the elevators was down,,
The fish served to my husband for lunch was “ rubbery” ,, and rather overdone … we didnt stay for breakfast ….

The room was good. But beware of the parking fees. They are outrageous. We got there at 9 pm, and thought we were covered until checkout. The $15 only covered 2 hours for parking in their parking lot. The under ground is $45. Not sure if this covers the whole night, or just 2 hours. Fines are $100. What a ripoff! Not staying here ever again!
