Nothing was really ok . The toilet itself was dirty. The floor was sticky the carpet was dark and old, the pillow was to soft didn’t hold the head Properly. The coffee was really bad. We were the only one in the hotel the restaurant was inexistant the reception had one employe and he was alone no more clerk or no housekeeper Not a pleasant stay

Hi, I am taking the time to write a review because the owner and staff went way out of their way to help me.

Manuel is the owner of Days Inn Blainville and is VERY hands on and friendly. He took time to talk and interact and make sure I was taken care of and happy with the rooms.

The staff I interacted with (Paulo, Terry and Khalid) helped me carry my engaving machine from my car in and out of the hotel several times in snow storms without complaint.

The rooms were reasonable, clean and quiet. I was traveling alone for business and this was perfect. There is a Tim's across the street and lots of stores within 5 minutes in either direction. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Older warehouse building converted into an hotel. Looks like they’re just trying to make it work. First Days Inn I ever stayed at that didn’t serve at least a continental breakfast. The pool closes early even on weekends. Nothing to do or see close by.

It was nice, the staff is very friendly. the thing we didn't like is one night around 8:45pm we would ring the bell and nobody answered the door, we tried a lot times... so we had to walk on the other side of the building with my mom and climb the stairs, and it was very cold that day... we weren't happy at all.

Very poor sound insulation, mold in the shower, cheap/worn out matress. Key got demagnitized, was able to have it redone without being asked for a piece of ID, anyone could get a key to any room.

I arrived a bit late. Reception desk was courteous, polite, friendly and efficient. Bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable. I slept well and heard nothing until someone (I am guessing) grazed my room's door from the corridor at 6AM, which woke me up. Given that I was getting up 15 min later, this was no big deal.

The line up to check in was so long we waited half in and half out of the hotel, there was no water in the room, we went to swim and the hot tub was half full and yellow! Then we went back to our room and our key didn't work. Then we found out, after paying 200$ for a very low quality room that there's also no breakfast!! This is a very expensive hotel and not worth the money.

The hotel is extremely outdated and drab. The wallpaper is old and peeling off the walls, the carpets are old, rooms are old, dark, there's a horrible odour in the hallways and rooms. My room had a missing lightbulb, a dead fly on the window, and the iron was dirty and burned my skirt. I was extremely upset with the condition of the room and hotel. I will never stay here again. The hotel looked very sad. They should consider renovating completely or just shutting down. I had to keep busy at night shopping or going out just to avoid being in my room

Bad customer experience

I came in early for check in (8h30) on a Saturday morning, asking if they could notify me when a room could be ready. I was told there was no way I could get in before 4 pm. Hotel was full (I guess everyone walked as parking was empty....). Left my card for a call back, e petting someone would check out early and the room would be cleaned....no call back. Called again at 13h30 to see if they could accomodate... not the slightest intent... I just wanted to drop off my suitcase and have a key as I was attending a wedding and could not be there at 16h00....anyway, I got there at 1h00 am that morning and checked in a very dirty room.

I travel extensively for work and have never seen such bad attitude toward customers and not wanting to help. Sorry to say I will avoid Days Inn at all cost.... this is not the experience I was expecting.

Close to Montreal Premium Outlets

When I booked this hotel (2 rooms), I needed an affordable place to stay after going to the Montreal Premium Outlets.

When we arrived, rooms were clean enough, nothing fancy, but looked just fine.

After supper, the problems started to show...

First, I couldn't charge my phone because all the electric plugs were loose!?!?! What the hell! I've never seen that in my life! Everything I would plug in the wall would fall off instantly. And it wasn't just 1 plug, all the plugs were loose...

Then I actually sat on the bed... ok... I'd describe it as a stone slab. If you like literally rock solid mattress, then you're gonna love these!!! I've seen hard in the past, but nothing close to this...

But the one thing that broke it for me was the BAR in the Hotel. Let's just be clear: I don't mind the actual location of the bar, but I do mind when the music is loud enough to understand the lyrics while in my room... If it's not bad enough, the base made the floors shake more than my car would when I push my music at max! It was completely ridiculous...

We did ask the reception when the music is gonna stop and they said 10 PM. Ok, fine, but at 10:30 PM it was still playing. Call the reception again, now it's supposed to stop at 11 PM. Ok, fine, but at 11:30 PM it still playing... The music stopped in the early morning!!! For ********* sake!!! I payed an hotel to sleep, not to party!!!

Reception refused to help in any way...

First room had a clogged bathtub, Wi-Fi didn't work and my allergies were very bad but only in the room. I had two spider bites when i woke up the first morning.
I moved to a new room and the bathroom sink was clogged too!!
Room had a stale cigarette smell. Hallways stank. Room service menu was majority over priced. Fitness room was terrible. Half the machine didn't work. No lights on. No water fountain. Felt unsafe. Would not ever stay here again

Outdated and not worth the money

the room's original price was $210 per night but it wasn't worth $100. The hotel is in terribly outdated. Cracked tiles in several places in the room, inconsistent hot water (from scalding to ice cold during the same shower). Roman tub and shower almost in an awkward place in the bedroom (outside the bathroom) so no privacy and disturbs everyone else. Bed was very comfortable. Room and linens were clean. Staff was friendly. No air conditioning in the bar. Balcony overlooks an unfinished area in the middle of the hotel.

The receptionist at Checkin was horrible, rude and fussy! I almost wanted to leave this old shabby looking hotel that was overpriced because all Montreal hotels were booked because of festivals and Tennis tournaments. If you can find any other hotel book it. Hotel is from the 1960s. Poor condition!

Bathroom needed a little work. But still felt that the cleaning people did as good a job that they could. Seems to be going through a renovation. Beds were clean should use a different detergent for sheets maybe nonsense.

Hotel is dark with not much light, feel sad and miserable . Need renovation and at least minimum maintainenance. Not clean, electrics switches are loose. Need serious improvement .

The only thing good is staff are friendly and helpful. We are happy with the services.

Staying at this hotel is a bit like time traveling in the 80's. A huge refresh is needed in the whole place. It's not only outof style but in very poor condition, even damaged at some point. Service was ok Noemi the waitress was charming and very proffesional. Food was ok, but the dining room wasn't very inviting. Even for the low price (98$) it could be better and I would pay a 120$ if for a fully renovated establishment.

Quite a bit of a let down

The pictures make it look great but when you are led to the back door to go up stairs that have a mattress under it doesn't really give you the warm and fuzzies. The room was small, which would have been fine but the bed was much more uncomfortable then you would ever expect. With promises of a indoor swimming pool we were willing to put the bed and tight quarters behind us but we disappointing once again in the extremely cold and overly exposed pool. Highlight was that we were able to warm back up in the hot tub. We wound up leaving that night since it would be much more comfortable to stay home than in the hotel. The Spa ajoining the hotel was fantastic however, absolutely fantastic.

Very run down, strange layout. Our room looked out over a weird indoor courtyard and it felt like everyone could see in. Good for pets and helpful staff when we were lost finding it and called.

It was a nice stay - the only thing the windows were going inside of the hotel, so it was a bit noisy, because of the few large groups who didn't care about other people sleeping. I guess sometimes it can happen anywhere...Other then that it was a good stay. We didn't stay at the room for long, so it was convenient for us to get in and out. Beds are good, shower was working fine, you can control the temperature in the room, it had a fridge, microwave and the supermarket just few blocks away. Would recommend.
