This is not a 4-star hotel, at most, 3-star. Room was spacious but outdated, and fairly was clean; though there was hair in the bathroom. Buffet breakfast was just ok, dining area was small. Friendly staff

Our room was large, comfortable and very well kept. The pillows on the bed were beautiful down pillows. The included breakfast was the best included buffet that I have ever had at any hotel. I would highly recommend this property.
Manon

The property was super clean and the staff very helpful and polite.
The breakfast was pretty good and varied, but it is little bit crowded due to the space configuration. The setup, including the seating and the buffet layout should be reviewed for better flow.
Will go back in the future.

The perfect location into the old city and the park were easy to do jogging. The staff were kind and helpful. Only one thing to notice is that there were lots of birds and their poop on the window. They hired the cleaning workers for the window so you can enjoy the perfect view possibly as of now.

St. Martin's hotel so far had the best spread of breakfast in Laval that I ever stayed in. The food are delicious and always fresh. The restaurant staffs are very attentive, making sure that food and drinks are always filled up. They are very pleasant.
They have a good sound proofing and we slept like a baby. Although, the AC needs an upgrading because its quite loud when you turned it on. The room is clean and fresh towels and toiletries are always refilled whenever you needed it. The lady who cleans our room is very polite and greets you everytime everytime she sees us and always asked as if we need anything.
Overall, I would highly recommend thia hotel, especially if you love breakfast!

I had an excellent stay at Le St-Martin Hotel & Suites Laval. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. The staff were welcoming, professional, and always willing to help, making the entire experience enjoyable. The location is convenient, with easy access to restaurants, and major highways. The breakfast was fresh and offered a good variety of options, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing.

What a wonderful hotel! It had a modern yet old world charm. This was one of the best continental breakfasts I’ve ever had at the hotel, so much to choose from and continuously being restocked. I will definitely be staying here again when never I’m back in Montreal. I was so impressed.
Nora
the room is very spacious and clean, breakfast buffet is very tempting and the staff continue a non stop work to fill all the trays .the outdoor area/ pool is very cozy .

What an amazing hotel! We had a wonderful stay and were impressed from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was excellent, with a huge variety of options and something for everyone. The lobby is beautiful, welcoming, and creates a great atmosphere throughout the hotel.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, and there was plenty of parking available, which made everything very convenient. Overall, the hotel does a fantastic job and delivers a great guest experience.
There are only two areas that could be improved. First, the hotel would really benefit from installing EV chargers as soon as possible. With more travelers driving electric vehicles, this would be a valuable addition. Second, the gym is quite small and doesn't match the otherwise high standard of the hotel. Expanding and upgrading the fitness area would make a big difference.
That said, these are relatively minor points. We had an amazing experience and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel with that "European" feel.
The staff are multilingual and very engaging.
We had a minor issue with our room and the front desk immediately resolved it and moved us to another room without any fuss or argument.
The breakfast is a beautiful selection of many foods. Bon appetit!

Extremely small pool. Expensive bar. People with a dog in the dining breakfast area leading to uncomfortable and potentially unsanitary dining.

Room was not clean. 2 dirty, used towels in the bathroom. Hair in the bathtub. Furniture was dusty and sticky. Has to wash the desk off so we could eat our dinner. Went down to front desk to share my concerns and get clean towels. The rely was, "ok". Then went back to his computer. I do not recommend this hotel.

Room is clean and bed is great to sleep on.
Free breakfast is a plus including parking.
Distance from downtown Montreal was an issue during the weekdays due to traffic of which we haven't taken into consideration.
Aside from that hotel is great and would highly recommend.

The property is conveniently located off the Autoroute 440. The hotel is very attractive and has ample free parking. The front desk staff are very friendly and professional and check-in took only a few minutes. The lobby, hallways, and elevators are clean and inviting. Just off the lobby is a small bar for evening cocktails. Our room, a superior king, had lots of room, a comfortable bed, good pillows and a seating area with sofa, table and chairs, and a big comfy chair with ottoman. There was even a cozy blanket to cover up your legs and toes. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower with great water pressure. The air conditioner was a little noisy but very common for hotel a/c which is why I always bring earplugs when travelling. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the next morning and there was some tables available outside. There is a pool just big enough to cool off and maybe do a little water walking. Good value for the price paid. We will definitely be back again when visiting family in the area.

The bed was squeaking with every minor movement, no water in the rooms and the toilet got clogged. When the issue was raised to the staff, they said “must have been bad luck”. Quite disappointed with the service. The hotel itself is actually beautiful and clean. But the staff need a little more training it seems.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. We love the room, the full breakfast. The hotel is close to the major shopping centre in Laval & close to relative.

What a wonderful stay at this location. Worth the drive to Laval. If you are visiting North Montreal definitely reccomend this location. The check in was efficient and friendly. The gentlemen let us know it was known to have the best breakfast in Montreal and it did not disappoint. Lots of variety, great quality and delicious coffee - which is not always the case in the included breakfasts. Room was clean and comfortable. The toiletries were top notch and the room was so comfortable - it is no wonder they provide they information on where you can buy the bed and beddings.
I have my new spot to stay in for all my visits to La Belle Province.

Very nice building, well kept, two covered areas for loading/unloading your car. The room was large, spacious, quiet, carpet throughout, blackout blinds, kitchenette, soft mattress, real duvet. The room was very clean but the bed was not.

Nice spacious room - Had the king size with the pull out bed - comfy - Didnt use the pool (very small but looked nice for lounging) / the back area was like a nice little Oasis -. liked that the rear entrance is super close to parking and the elevator/ super convenient / they had a charcuterie option at breakfast which was interesting but I found odd - eggs were wet and bacon overdone and very greasy (bad combo) Pastries were amazing and they had very cute dessert options - overall decent for hotel breakfast - No issues overall and decently located in Laval - walked home from a show at place bell - would stay again

The hotel is beautiful and we had a good stay; however, our bed was noisy and had a saggy spot where obviously most people sleep. I think it was just time to replace the mattress... otherwise it's a beautiful hotel with an amazing free breakfast that is better than most.

The breakfast was very good with lots of variety. Only thing is I think it should be nut free. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel.

Very cute hotel, clean, safe area, nice rooms, easy check in, check out, free parking, my friends said there was an amazing breakfast included, but I didn’t go to breakfast. The only thing that could’ve been a bit better were the blackout curtains didn’t really black out the room, but overall, great stay, would 100% go back!

Superbe buffet déjeuner, beaucoup de choix.

Couldn’t believe that foam or synthetic pillows were not available

My wife and I booked this room in Jan. of this year for a friday evening concert. First of all, this was priced very, very reasonably for a friday night with a concert event happening only 1 mile away!
We were blown away by the hotel. This is easily a five star hotel in the US! The initial look of the hotel when you arrive reminds you of a castle in Europe! Totally made of cut stone with that castle look. Extreme friendly staff and atmosphere. If your room isn’t ready, you are directed to a lounge area with plenty of small tables, plenty of seating, an active fire place, free coffee station and a full bar! All areas were impeccable including the spacious suite. There was several comfy places to sit, a mini kitchen with sink, coffee maker and microwave. The internet access was free as well as on site parking. The bathroom and shower were more than spacious. We slept amazingly well. The room was very clean on every way! (My wife said it was perfect.)
We said that if the free breakfast was good we would give this place a solid 5/5.
The breakfast was unbelievable! I have never in my life seen such a spread anywhere and probably never will again! It starts with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes.( None of it was standard, I mean it was prepared fresh and was delicious. Then there were several bread choices, cold cuts, cheeses, waffles, sauces, yogurt with nuts, fruits, etc., cannolis, cookies, croissants and many more items! Continuously restocked! OMG please go!
