The was very little information given especially WFI information not given . No bar soap or Kleenex in the room. Hair and dust was found in clumps on the floor. Ask for a 2nd floor room, not given. Noise during the night into the early morning coming from the unit above us.

The room and closet area were spacious. The beds were comfortable and clean, there's air conditioning, plenty of hangers, iron and ironing board, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a pool. One of the doors to the outside didn't close properly and I found it open one night. Towels and Facecloths had some staining.
There's no cleaning service during your stay, if you need extra things, they will give it to you readily at the office. A family place, lots of kids. Hairdryer and clock didn't work

Property on outside was nice but room was old and dirty. There was cobwebs behind the night stands and the air conditioner was very old and barely work. The wood decking on back of property was rotting and felt unsafe to walk on in areas.

One of the few places you can find a room that doesn't require 2-3 nights stay for the reservation. Booked 2 rooms. Very dated, though it looked like some fresh paint was applied a few years ago. Thought we might break the wooden steps going up them. Bathroom extremely small. Steam set off the fire alarm for 10 minutes. Only hotel room I've ever stayed at that has an exit door on each side of room. Weird layout. Didn't get a chance to check out the pool. There was no staff on premises and there was a big party of firefighters smoking on the patios and gathering around the common area. Fine for a quick nights sleep close to Canada St. Wouldn't pick this again with other options available close by though.

The Lido is always clean and cozy. It's a block away from the main street so it's much quieter and relaxing. The rooms got a recent makeover but the charm is still intact. It's still the off-season so the pool was closed and most amenities (like the ice machine) were not in place yet. Still a great stay especially at the reasonable non-peak rate.

I always stay at the Lido whenever I get the chance. Whether solo or with my wife, the Lido is clean and comfy with a nice pool/ It's also a block away from traffic noise and right near the middle of downtown and the lake.

Was never woken up never got a knock on the door till I was getting ready to leave at just about 12:30 waking up very late no courtesy call or nothing heard pounding on the door and some guy was trying to hustle not just me but my girlfriend as well for more money once he found out he was not getting a scent he told me he can get all my stuff and get out very rudely and so okay place but i would not recommend it

Our last minute reservation was accommodated and we were very pleased with the up close and personal customer service we were provided. We had to check in very kate, after 830pm and they kept in touch and were accomodating and polite. Short walk to attractions. We would definitely stay again.

The motel had been updated recently which was nice to see. It wasn’t fancy but definitely effort had been made to make the rooms look presentable. Everything was very clean. There was no maid service so we had to ask for towels but they were easily available. The pool was also very clean and well maintained. It was a short convenient walk to the main strip where all the attractions were. For the price we would stay there again. Wish there was a microwave and coffee maker in the room.

It was an amazing stay, the courtyard is a beautiful lush green grass that is level and perfect for yard games like bocce ball, corn hauling, lawn darts etc.

There was a tiny fridge but no coffee maker in the room, glad I called ahead to inquire and brought my own. Room was standard, nothing special, nice and quiet one block off the main strip. Good and cheap for just a 2 night stay. We had a king bed balcony room.

Considering the price, the property is pretty much what you would expect. The outside is fairly clean, and the pool is nice. The inside of the rooms were put together, but there were stains on the floor. The bed sizes are not queen size at all, they are not even full-size. These beds are at most a twin size so do not let the listing fool you. We did end up finding a marijuana pipe under our bed, as well as a mini bottle of alcohol. All that the owner offered us was $20 in return. Ridiculous if you ask me.

Nice quiet little place. Was there off season so I had to call for someone to check me in, no one was there. The room was cold but didn't take long to warm up. It had a stale smell but it's probably from not being used much through winter. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Would go back again. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no lock on the door other than the door nob lock. Didn't feel very safe with that.

I (we) stay at the Lido several times each year. It's always been clean & comfortable no matter what time of year we stay. No, it doesn't coddle you in luxury but the property is well-kept, clean and has a great location right in the downtown area. It's a block from the noisy main street so it is nice & quiet and the pool is decent. The Lido is certainly a cut above the typical Make George motel and I continue to recommend it highly!

The first room we had smelled musty and was dark . it was under a roof. He did give us one upstairs. Which was much better. But the place needs to be updated and needs clean curtains and lamp shades. Absolute nightmare! Do not stay! Rooms smell like old mold. Sheets and blankets were stained with blood and what looked like other bodily fluids. There were sweaty handprints on the wall above the bed. It looked like a room that could have been used for prostitution. When I complained and asked for clean sheets and blankets I was told they were clean and they could not change them. I demanded my money back but was told I was locked in when I reserved the room. I was so disgusted I did not care about the money and stayed somewhere else. Complete nightmare! Also, they have a sign that says there is a vending machine and ice machine. They do not have it working until Memorial Day so it is complete false advertising. I asked the owner about the ice and he told me he could get me some from his house. I don’t think it can get worse than this for $130 a night?!

This pleasant little hotel is about a block off the main street of Lake George, and is walking distance to restaurants and shops. Like many of the hotels in Lake George, it was built in the middle of the last century, and shows its age a bit, but that's part of the charm of the hotel, and of the town. The best part of my stay was the warm and friendly manner of the staff throughout my visit. Everyone was very welcoming, which I really appreciated after a long day on the road.

Bathroom had hair in it. Bathroom fixtures barely attached to the plumbing. Room was dust and wall-mounted air conditioner was filthy. Could see daylight around the gaps of the entry doors. Stairs to 2nd floor in bad shape and half rotten. No room phone to call front desk. Pillows were the flattest I've ever slept on. I could go on and on.

We go to Lake George every year and for the last 3 years have stayed at the Lido. Location is great and is a walkable distance to the Lake and the Village. A nice, quiet place away from the crowds. The owners have done a lot of updating to the hotel. It is clean and comfortable. Has a pool too!!
