Loved staying here. Stayed for the Grand Prix weekend and they had lots of extra touches that made it feel special. Would definitely stay again. Hotel is newly renovated and staff were lovely. Love the little cafe with local goods. Only downside is that breakfast isn’t included.

It was great

I chose the package with the free breakfast. The food was fresh and well presented, but very limited selection during the week. The weekend had a few hot choices.

Très propre, excellent

I have paid in full upfront through Expedia, yet the hotel still charged me on my credit card. This has been a two-day ordeal, with numerous hours spent in communication with Expedia, who assured me that my refund would be processed within 5 to 10 days. This is not a minor sum, and I am incurring high interest daily. I am profoundly dissatisfied with this situation.

The hotel had re-opened as a different hotel a day before we arrived. No one cared to inform us of this. I had prepaid via expedia, only to notice that the hotel also charged me for my stay.

Everything I asked for, polite staff, had a great stay
Carolyn
There were young hockey players everywhere - slamming doors, banging on doors, yelling, acting like the pool, hot tub and gym belonged to them. My stay consisted in enduring all of that and not enjoying my room nor the amenities.
Dan
Great stay.
Robin
Clean room and amenities. Good value for the price.
Bing
The heater is super loud, and the sound insulation is pretty poor. Room door can't lock properly and shower room is leaking. And they have no rooms to switch.
Annette
Yes, all of the above. It was a delightful experience and we will go back!
Kevin
It was good enough.
Eskandar
Nine staff, good location, clean and renovated rooms

Bedding need to be replaced. Bed and pillow…
Ibtissem
Couldn’t sleep. Kids were running around the whole night and nobody stopped them. Even after few calls.
James Wailey
A bunch of kids hanging out in the hallway at 11:30pm and their parents who were drinking from a cooler made for a disturbing night. Not restful.
Motunrayo
The hotel was under construction and breakfast was very underwhelming for the price paid for the stay and food
Brynn L P
Clean room, but there was a mold smell coming from the shower. Otherwise a nice room.
Anik
Room was very nice, freshly renovated. Very clean, staff was great and helpful.
Sean
Despite construction, it was very clean, and mostly complete, enjoyed our stay, short uber from numerous shopping and restaurant options.
Georges
The room was always clean, and the staff were friendly- speaking to me in both French and English

I expect more from a highly rated hotel. I’m shocked by how unprofessional the receptionists were.
They weren’t attentive and accommodating to me as a guest. When I stay in hotels especially ones that I pay an exorbitant amount for, I expect accommodation, politeness, professionalism and privacy at the very least, all of which they lacked. On multiple occasions my personal information like my ID, credit card and room number were not handled with care and displayed for various guests and staff members to see. As a traveler this is severely distressing. They put me in a precarious situation by doing this, which is one of the reasons why I decided to switch rooms during my second night at the hotel. The other reason was the noisiness, even late into the evening. I heard everything from stomping, banging to drilling. This is unacceptable.
The quality of the room I stayed in during the second night was disappointing. It was much smaller than the first even though I paid practically the same amount. Also it was not clean. The bedroom table had what I believe to be food residue. The couch had unknown particles on it. I had to locate a cleaner who wiped off the table but used the same towel to clean the washroom surfaces and other areas.
I had to wipe these surfaces again. I noticed four small holes in the walls under the Tv, it’s possible I may have been watched.
Also loud construction is taking place at the hotel entrance, a workers carelessness caused me to inhale dust.

Old hotel, not much service

Access to a newspaper stand would be great. Hotel under construction outdoors; however, very comfortable and cozy indoors.
Alain
Lena
The building is under construction. Strong wood work smell. Most importantly there was very heavy walking running all day above our room. We had to call the reception to complained at 1:30 AM as we couldn't sleep. Finally around 2:30 we got tired and slept after they calmed down.
Grace
Its ok, but we dont’t expect that they are on renovation so the ground floor was not presentable when we got inside the lobby
Rebecca
Ok
There was undisclosed construction going on, only one functional elevator. The pillows were way too soft. Inroom issues - AC system was very loud, lots of vibration felt in pillow. The alarm clock wasn’t checked and woke us up at 5am on our one night stay. The bathroom fan was supremely loud. Overall just not even close to the last time we stayed here.
Vivianne
Construction woke us up earlier than we would have liked. Despite requesting, no compensation was given for this inconvenience.
Tyler
Great staff and well maintained hotel
Ssparshak
We initially got a room the toilet didn’t flush and the whole room smelt musty almost moldy. We called and they transferred us to an upgraded room immediately. We were very great full and they also didn’t bother us during check out which is also appreciated as we were running late
Joycelyn
The property is very nice and clean staff are very friendly
Adam
Our biggest inconvenience was the ice maker on our floor (6) was difficult to engage.
You really had to push hard to get the cubes to flow.
Other than that, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and we thoroughly enjoyed dinner in the restaurant.
The on site snack selection was phenomenal.

When we first checked in, the room had a strong smell of fresh paint, which was a bit unpleasant. However, we contacted the front desk, and they were very responsive and quickly arranged a new room for us with no odor. We appreciated their prompt assistance and willingness to resolve the issue.
Dwayne
We were in Montreal for the GP so Laval was a long commute each day but the hotel was great, nice people.

The only issue I have with this hotel is how dangerous the one entrance is off the highway, it requires you to cross 3 lanes of highway traffic in an instant and can be very dangerous.
Wendy
Only downside was it was difficult to get to - sharp turn off Hwy 15 - easy to miss, even with GPS
Patricia
It was an amazing experience. The front desk staff were the most dedicated people. They assisted us with everything from language differences. They helped us get to our events easy and with direct routes. The front desk lady was the most amazing person to deal with. She was very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay. The pool and hot tub great. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Great place to stay
Arianne
Staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Shout out to Jacob at the Front desk. He was very nice and professional. He helped us check in and answered all questions as it was our first time in Laval. Very competent young man. All other staff were great. Facilities were well maintained and clean. Quatrz restaurant was very nice as well
Karoline
Great!
Staff was super friendly and room was very clean. Loved our stay

Pre-Christmas relaxation
Weekend getaway for our Christmas party. Time to relax and enjoy the pool and hot tub.

Overall great pick!
The lobby was beautiful. The market was awesome and well stocked. Restaurant looked nice with the bar as well. Great pool and hot tub as a bonus. Loved the free parking and ease of elevators. Beds were comfy, pillows decent.
Small issue with the room brightness, see photo, not as blackout as would’ve hoped. Was a bit frustrating considering checkout is amazingly at noon.
