The lobby is beautiful, the staff was friendly. The room was clean. The pool is ONLY OPEN ON WEEKENDS which is BEYOND STUPID. Half the games dont work and only the ping pong is free. The weight room has a few options which is nice. The Sauna works well and is nice to have since there is no Hot tub. The onsite Massage Spa is a nice touch. AMY WAS GREAT!!

OH Make sure you walk down the road a little and take the walking bridge over to the Chocolate factory for some VERY DELICIOUS chocolate!!! Wow it's so good. And there's also a Very good Greek family owned breakfast place just a little farther down. Espace Cafe. Look it up. There are no signs on the building but Google will get you there.

Also wanted to mention the restaurant on-site opens at 4pm and they have a fantastic Chicken Alfredo with bacon and mushroom. The Burger was Charbroiled if you like that and the pizza was pretty good as well!!

There's a bus stop not too far from the hotel. If you grab a ticket from the airport before you leave for the hotel you can jump on and off when you want and it works for the metro as well. If you dont get a bus ticket then you'll need coins at that bus stop.

The bus and metro takes roughly 1 hour to 1.5hrs to get to downtown Montreal. It's $11.25 for a 24 hour ticket or if you use Uber it's roughly a 20-30minute drive with a 10 minute wait for the car and it's $30 CAD for one way.

I hope my review helps someone.

The room was clean the layout how ever wasn’t really ideal. Small bathrooms then you gotta walk out the room to wash your hands. The parking lot had some pot holes but I mean that’s all of Montreal. One staff member helped half of our party check out early was awesome but another tried to charge us a cancellation fee when it said it wasn’t gonna apply but he was insisting that it be applied till the other worker (bea) she didn’t apply it. The pool looked nasty it was all foggy and I’ve seen pools with more clear water so I’m not sure what that was about. They had a couple of arcade things there and a pool table along with air hockey and ping pong. Asked to use it around 10 turns out they close that at a certain time not really anything to watch on the tvs they didn’t even have a choice of popping in Netflix or something. I thought okay fine maybe I could screen mirror my phone to the tv not even the slightest chance there. And then the elevator broke down somehow so From being on the second floor needing to bring stuff from the top to the bottom a little inconvenient I get things happen but it’s a hotel how are you gonna not get a necessity fixed immediately. No hate to the raddison but next time imma stick to smth like the Marriott or a little fancier cause this place wasn’t it oh and also if you do wanna go swimming in there there’s rooms that can watch you swim which not gonna lie I don’t feel comfortable being watched swimming

2. The pool water was cloudy and did not appear to be well maintained.
3. There was no closet or wardrobe in the room.
4. My room (1070) was directly opposite the hotel's laundry room. Staff were talking, laughing, and playing music throughout the day and night. Even with the room door closed, the noise was excessive, making it difficult to sleep.

The Hotel was not as expected, photos on internet show a clean environment but the reality is other,
the first impression was the lobby bathroom was dirty and smell terrible, which supposed to be one of the most clean, the room are not clean at all, for the amount of money they charge they supposed to clean better. I rent 2 room one for me and other for my kids we passed three there in that property and nobody show up to clean our room when I claim after we passed the day out walking in the city and expected to find a clean tower and room, them they send someone to take the trash out, bring paper for the bathroom. The service is horrible I don't recommend this hotel was my first and last time in this place.
Expedia may not promote place like this.
I told them i will give them a bad rate on the internet but they did no care about it.

On informing the staff they said escalate through Expedia as you made the booking there. On escalation Expedia refunded the booking. The staff did not make an effort to fix the issue. They apologized and were happy to see us leave.

Little bit of a rant as someone who works in the hotel industry. Property overall is filthy, from the outside to the inside, garbage EVERYWHERE in the parking lots. Lobby and rooms were recently updated but thats about it. DO NOT let the pictures fool you like it did me. Main reason for booking this hotel was the amazing looking pool, come to find out its only open Friday-Saturday! Elevator out of service, pool table out of service and the so called splash pad looks like it hasn't worked since 2015! Exposed wires all over the hotel including our AC unit that didnt work so we had to switch rooms. Both rear doors of the hotel don't latch so anyone can just walk into the property. As someone who works in hotels this property is in serious need of a surprise audit from corporate because its absolutely ridiculous. The hotel has such potential but its almost like it has been forgotten about from the higher ups. What a shame, will NEVER return.

Avoid this place. The place is short staffed and not clean. Dead bugs were found in my room when I checked in. And they were not removed whenever housekeeping came to clean. Also towels were removed from room during middle of stay even though they were hung up. Front desk were asked to send replacement towels but they never did. In all fairness there was only one person working and he was swamped with customers. Management had cut corners due to inadequate staffing.

Bonjour,

My family stayed at the hotel last night and it was probably one of the worst hotel experiences we have had. The room was filthy. The floor was sticky, and visibly dirty, there was dog kibble and piles of dirt on the floor, mold in the shower, the ac didn't work properly, and there was a really damp mildew sort of smell. Also the safety of the hotel itself seemed questionable. Shattered glass on doors help together with tape, outside doors that don't lock or even close, doors propped open with rocks... I was pretty uncomfortable the entire time we were there. Also just general upkeep, the photos on Expedia are not accurate. The splash pad area looks is not kept up, long grass very dumpy looking, also I've never seen so many cigarette butts I think it is basically used as a smoking area but it is advertised as an area for children to play in water that wasn’t even functioning. Overflowing garbage cans everywhere. Lastly, nowhere does it say that the pool is weekends only. We booked on Expedia and I checked again to see if it says that and it does not. It says open daily from 10-10. This was the only reason we booked this hotel as we were travelling with a child and that was our one must was a pool. That said, the photos of the pool looked great online, but once I saw it I don't think I would have allowed my child to swim in it had it even been an option. It was so cloudy you couldn't see past the first few inches of water.

We had a wonderful stay at Radisson Hotel in Montreal. The staff were great and helpful. We love it here. It was clean...Had ref, microwave, tv, coffee bar & toiletries), block-out curtains, and pretty quiet (maybe room is sound proof)?
There was an ample space for parking, It was close to our room due to how it was designed. The parking lot is surrounding the hotel where there are exit doors to all sides. So convenience is a plus factor.

It would have been a 10 rating if not for the
the 2 issues i encountered.
I was glad that iron was provided. But when i used it, it worked for awhile and died. Good thing there was a spare one but when I was about to lay it flat on my pants, orange liquid leaked from it (maybe from rust?) luckily I was quick to act & it dripped on the floor, not too much on my clothing. 😌
Secondly, the floor in our room was sticky and because I did not have slippers it was gross.

The room itself was acceptable, but the hotel was disgusting. The floors and doors were dirty, and the garbage bins were constantly overflowing. During our four-night stay, our room’s floor was never cleaned. The carpets in the hallways were filthy and clearly had not been vacuumed in a long time.
The gym was also a huge disappointment. About 90% of the equipment was out of order, and there were no disinfectant wipes or cleaning supplies available for guests to sanitize the machines after use.
Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance of this hotel were far below acceptable standards, and I would not recommend staying here unless they are working on it.

While the rooms have clearly been updated…nice shower and comfortable beds, the older in-room safe was malfunctioning and beeping every 10 seconds and with no one showing up to fix it after our request, we had to cover it with our clothes to muffle the noise.
Overall, while our room was very nice, this hotel could improve immensely if they kept the public spaces cleaner….vacuuming the hallways and ESPECIALLY dumping the exterior garbage cans. Perhaps that would eliminate the need for rodent traps every 10 feet along the hotel perimeter.

I rarely write reviews for places I stay at because these experiences are usually nothing to right home about. But I recently had the misfortune of staying at Raddison Hotel Montreal Airport and do I have a couple of things to say.
Firstly, we arrived at the hotel pretty late into the evening and were exhausted from our trip. So, we decided to eat at the hotel. Huge mistake. We received a pasta dish with a piece of hair sticking out of it, clear as day. I asked the wait staff to take the dish back and we were sent a different dish back after a while. In the middle of eating, I noticed yet another piece of hair in my new pasta dish. This goes to show how poor the hygiene and care involved is in the kitchen. We decided to forgo having breakfast at the hotel in the morning after that frankly disgusting experience.
Secondly, the room we were staying in smelt strongly of something akin to insect repellent. I also noticed that the cover sheet on the bed was slightly stained.
If you can avoid staying at this hotel, I urge you to do so. We only stayed at the hotel for one night, but it left a bad taste in my mouth for the rest of our trip in Montreal.

The room appeared clean and renovated. However, I noticed an unpleasant smell coming from the bed sheets when I was lying in bed. Other than that, the room itself was clean.

I could also hear noise from the corridor late at night from other hotel guests. I would have appreciated stricter enforcement of quiet hours to ensure guests’ sleep is respected.

In addition, the main hall contained a pool and recreation area, including billiard and foosball tables, where there were many children making considerable noise. This was unexpected for me, and the atmosphere felt more like a family recreation center than the type of hotel environment I was looking for.

Overall, while the property was clean and renovated, the noise levels and overall atmosphere did not meet my expectations. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 8 days, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing.

The biggest issue was a severe ant infestation throughout our room. Ants were everywhere, including on the bed. My wife was bitten multiple times while sleeping and is still suffering from significant itching and discomfort as a result.

Housekeeping standards were also very poor. Even after the room was cleaned every other day, the floors remained dusty, with dirt accumulating in corners and along the edges of the room. The hallways and corridors were consistently dirty throughout our entire stay.

The laundry was another major problem. The only machine broke down while we were using them, leaving us with heavy, soaking wet clothes. After waiting nearly two hours, we were forced to take our laundry to a neighboring hotel to finish washing and drying our clothes.

The gym was also unacceptable. There was no air conditioning, only hot air circulating from fans, making it extremely uncomfortable to exercise. In addition, gym machine was broken and unusable.

The outdoor areas were not maintained either. The parking lot was littered with garbage throughout our entire 8-day stay and appeared never to have been cleaned.

Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had. The lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, broken facilities, and unresolved pest issues made our stay very unpleasant. We would not stay at this hotel again.

I stayed there few time but after this bad experience I would pay more money and go to a better place. Armon plaza next door is one of my favorites.

It was the filthiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in my 60 years of life. I cannot even start to explain how dirty this hotel was. I arrived late and didn’t see how I could change hotels at that time. I slept with my clothes on. I felt unsafe so I put a chair in the door to help me hear if someone would come in. Should be closed down.

We got a family suite here and it was very spacious and fairly clean in the room. The pool area needed some clean up, there was lots of hair and dirt on the deck around the pool and even fake eye lashes and a bandaid. The kids were excited about the arcade that was near the pool and while a few of the games worked better than half didnt or were missing parts needed to play or just took our money. I was disappointed we had to pay $75 to park our trailer for the night especially considering how empty the parking lot was. The exterior of this hotel nearly made me recind my reservation because it looked so unkempt with trash literally everywhere. I went to grab something from our car and went to use a rear door before I realized the glass was broken. Returning back to the other side door I stepped on a nail that went through my sneaker into my foot. Not a great impression first night. I feel like with some love it could be great but yikes that parking lot wont have me back.

I would not stay at the Radission near Montreal airport again. The rooms were very small, carpets to the rooms were dirty and the pictures on Expedia were very misleading. I would not trust Expedia again while doing my booking. Very disapointed with my stay at Radission

The pool area and the hallways of the hotel were filthy. Rooms were renovated but are not very well cleaned. Check in was good, staff was nice. There’s apparently a splash pad but the area it’s in isn’t landscaped and there’s garbage everywhere. It’s more like a dog park then play area for children

Check In was very busy although the staff was polite and helpful.

Had an issue with one of the rooms keys stopped working
Maintenance came out right away and fixed it

The sink was not draining properly in one room, ended up using the second room for the sink

Overall, premises was clean, parking was easy for $15 per night

It looks like it used to be beautiful. Its fine if you're just sleeping in your room and leaving for the day. The grounds are full of litter. The carpets in the hallway are quite dirty with debris. Our sink leaked causing our towels to be wet upon arrival. The room was clean though. The loby looked nice and the staff were all very polite.

The hotel itself was nostalgic and interesting, but the tv channels barely worked and our floor really needed to be mopped. Food was okay and there’s a bar in the hotel. The atrium was fun but there isn’t much to do that doesn’t cost more money

Room was clean and comfortable. Our major issue was the held a wedding reception in the hall which joins the large atrium and allowed them to play very loud music with heavy bass late into the night and we could not sleep due to the noise. When we called the front desk to ask them we were told that they will not tell them to turn it down at all. They refused to tell us what time they would be finished and if we didn’t like it that wasn’t really their problem and we could go move to a different room. It was midnight and OUR 3rd and final night. We were not going to pick up and move all of our stuff. They did not care about our comfort. It was unfortunate the way they had this set up. Also woke up early to noise in the atrium while a bridal dress sale was setting up. This hotel cares more about the money they make off of renting out their hall than the guest’s comfort who are sleeping there.
