Well-located hotel in Montreal West End close to Montreal-West, with easy access on Saint-Jacques street. Clean room, renovated, nice furniture (with some pieces showing damages that were not normal wear-and-tear but rather carelessness or vandalism from previous guests). The room was much nicer than the one I had months ago. Breakfast included. The broken coffee machine has finally been replaced. Parking included. Recommended.

This hotel was listed on Expedia as having electric car charging, but it was not working so I had to find a charger and pay extra elsewhere. Door did not have a swing bar latch, only the one main lock. It looked decent from the website photos but felt sketchy when we arrived, bulletproof glass enclosure around the reception desk and \"adult\" items in the vending machine that my kid was asking questions about.

The rooms in this motel in a light industrial area are spacious with the highlight being the renovated bathroom. The shower is amazing!

When we stayed the hall carpets were being replaced, which was noisy, dusty and made access to the rooms difficult,

There is only staircase from the carpark to the upper floor rooms, which is not that convenient.

First, I want to say that the staff were polite and helpful, but that is where the good review ends, I have photos. Second, I want to let you know that NOWHERE did the website say anything about the hotel being in a stage of renovation, and it was. IF IT HAD, I would not have made a reservation, especially for the price. The carpeting in the hallways, as well as the wallpaper was being replaced, the carpet vent coverers were not in place leaving holes in the floor way. Out of the period of my stay, June 9th through June 18th, 9 days, four of those days, the water pressure in the room was insufficient to take a shower, for days, the toilet tank flapper was inoperative due to the chain being broken and at no time did they replace the chain except with paperclips which keep breaking. I had to place my hand in the tank 14 times to make the toilet flush and yes, I told the desk and the came once to repair but did not return after being told again. 4 days, my room was not cleaned, fresh towels, bedding changed and bed made. The room had metal cups, which are good, but they were not changed and I was watching. There were no washer and dryer units for washing clothes. The breakfast was basic but adequate and the room was small but opened on time each day. I should have known when I arrived when I saw the entire desk area covered from ceiling to desk level with 1.5 inch (approximately) with Bullet resistant, \"thick\" glass. I was completely disappointed. Police were there repeatedly.

Parking was easy, and the air conditioning kept the room cool. When I first entered the room, it appeared clean and well-maintained. Since it was late at night, I went straight to bed. However, the next morning, when I opened the refrigerator, I found leftovers that had apparently been left behind by a previous guest.

This hotel is a complete fraud it should be considered a motel and not a hotel. The pictures are completely deceiving. I should have known better when we couldn’t t find them on Instagram or tik tok or any social media platform for that matter. However we went against our better judgement gave them a chance because we really wanted the room with the jacuzzi. First thing my bedroom door did not lock the frame of door was bent so we physically had to lift door to align with lock when we wanted it to close and lock. The jacuzzi was absolutely disgusting the nets were filled with mold and mildew and the best part there was hair stuck in the filters of jacuzzi that was clear as day. So I absolutely don’t recommend this hotel sorry motel and Expedia should be absolutely ashamed for even advertising them.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay. I specifically chose and paid extra for this room because it included a jacuzzi tub, which was one of the main reasons I booked it. Unfortunately, I was unable to use it due to the unacceptable level of cleanliness. The tub contained hair, grime, and visible dirt, making it unsanitary and completely unusable.

The cleanliness issues did not stop there. The refrigerator was filthy and appeared not to have been cleaned prior to my arrival. The towels provided in the room were stained, which further reinforced my concerns about the hotel’s housekeeping standards.

When guests pay a premium for upgraded amenities, they should reasonably expect those amenities to be clean and ready for use. Instead, I was left feeling that the room had not been properly cleaned at all. This experience fell far below basic hospitality expectations, and I cannot recommend this hotel based on the condition of the room I received. Management should take immediate steps to improve housekeeping and quality control.

We had a non smoking room however our room had a smoke smell which the hotel took care of. There was not much for the continental breakfast and everyday we had to go to the front desk and ask for the food to be replenished. One day the police were at the hotel and we had no idea why. Overall I would give it 4 stars.

Everything is clean, amenities are available, rooms are convenient. Restaurants are close by like 10 to 15min, Mc Donald is at a walking distance.
The best is still coming because they were renovating a portion of the hotel. Food service will be a great option to add.

Place was clean and the room was nice. I thought I had upgraded the room when I reserved but they said I didn’t. They then put me in a 75 degree room with no A/C. I complained and they said just give it time, but it never got below 75. The next day they switched me to the room that I had originally reserved. Other than the A/C problem and the room misunderstanding, the place was nice and the staff were helpful.

J’ai bien apprécié mon séjour à Le Chabrol Hotel & Suites. L’emplacement est pratique, tout près de l’autoroute, et l’endroit est calme, ce qui est parfait pour une pause sur un long trajet. Évidemment, ce n’est pas un hôtel 5 étoiles, mais pour un court arrêt de voyage, c’est un très bon choix. Le petit déjeuner inclus est aussi un bel avantage. Honnêtement, j’y retournerais sans hésiter.

Booked for 3 people but once we got there hotel staff wanted to charge extra for a 3rd person, before saying we couldn’t be more than 2 in a room at all times, even for guests just visiting and not staying over. Had to show them the booking, and was told it was “fine”, but other staff members might argue, to show them the booking and hope.
The sofa bed had a basic lining on it, no pillows nor covers or anything. There was a shrink-wrapped package on the desk, which was essentially a basic cover in paper that was unusable, had to split pillows and covers from main bed so third person could sleep.

A bit further than we wanted to stay but it was a crazy weekend in Montreal. It is right in the bus/metro line and that was great because driving in the city is not easy and parking is even worse. So that’s a 5on a scale right there. Not the greatest part of town but I didn’t ever feel unsafe. Hotel was clean and beds were very comfortable but it was dated and rooms need better lighting. Parking was a huge plus

First time staying here. It's roughly 8 km from downtown (old port), but factor in traffic and it takes about 30 minutes to get there (depending on the day/time, of course). The property itself gives off motel vibes. Hallways smelled as they do have some smoking rooms on site. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room (131 - Executive Suite, 1 Queen Bed, Hot Tub) was clean and relatively modern. Rain shower head wasn't in the best shape. Parking and Breakfast (7am-10am) was included. Super C grocery store located across the road and a Tim Horton's is just down the street. Not a bad experience, but considering what we paid won't be staying here again as it is worth paying a premium to stay closer to the downtown core.

Stayed two nights. Nice newly renovated comfortable room. Turned TV on but would not stay on for every 10 - 15 seconds. The room was not maintained. Everything was as we left it, no bed made no supplies repleniished, no cleaning. We had to request the breakfast supplies be replenished on the first morning and gave up on the second going out for breakfast at a restaurant instead.

This is the first hotel I have stayed at where there were holes in the towels. I thought maybe it was a one off, but the next day new towels were supplied and they had holes as well. I wouldn't classify this as a three star hotel, but more of a one/two star. Most likely will never stay again.

This Hotel should be leveled and rebuilt. The photos of the rooms must be from 20 years ago. I wouldn't sleep in that bedfor my life. Torn up couch. Had to dive and find another hotel after a full day's travel. This hotel has seen better days. Don't waste your time and money here.

The room was really clean. The bathroom was so immaculate it looked like it had recently been renovated. Staff was friendly at check-in and helpful throughout.

There were just a couple of hiccups. Even though I selected the option of paying upon arrival, the credit card was charged for one night. The hotel said that was their policy. Please reflect this accurately on the Expedia website.

Also, one morning, the last two bagels had mold on them. It was quickly rectified when I notified staff and they were replaced.

One suggestion I would make is either replace or steam clean the hall carpets. They were worse for the wear.

Woman was harrassing the lady in the office. Screaming, swearing, threatening and insulting, then came outside and was screaming and swearing and very aggressive towards my family and any other people nearby for at least 1/2 hr. Instead of being asked to leave she was given a room.

Staff were helpful with other questions and support needed throughout our stay.

Carpet and walls were not clean.

The hotel is terrible…

Our beds had women’s hair all over them when we checked in, but the staff was really nice and quickly changed everything when we told them — they were genuinely apologetic.

That said, the bedsheets and pillow covers have definitely seen better days and are long overdue for retirement, though it seems management hasn’t realized that yet.

The hair dryer only made noise but didn’t blow any air, and in the morning the flush stopped working. To top it off, the water pressure dropped completely while my partner still had shampoo in their hair — what a nightmare!

The only good thing I can say is that they offered a free electric vehicle charging point, which was helpful.

The staff themselves were lovely — honestly, they’re the ones holding the place together.

But overall, it’s definitely not worth $200 a night. I’d appreciate a refund
