The only reason for the four stars was the fact that the property was under exterior renovation. But once inside, everything was great! Comfy bed, very nice bathroom, great amenities. The price was also very good (and was perhaps so low because of the renos, but I'm not sure).

The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was excellent. Breakfast was ok. The prices were high and when asked for over easy eggs we all got well done eggs. One of the elevators was down in the middle of our stay, so long waits for the elevator. We would have taken the stairs but we were on the 7th floor.
An incident happened in the pool area-(not against the Hotel itself but another quest)- We had our phones and room keys and an inhaler with our towels on a chair like everyone does while in the pool with their children, a lady came in moved our stuff off the chair, I seen her so i said that is our stuff and she replied yes, i just put it there which was on the arm of a sectional where other people were sitting and had their stuff. I said i was sitting there and she said no your not your in the pool, i need a chair, that she would move if i got out of the pool. My son had prescribed medication on the chair, that she had no right to touch. Out of respect when someone has their belongings on a chair, people dont normally touch their things to sit down. We got there and got a seat not our fault the pool was busy and there was no wheres for her to sit. She had no right touching our belongings especially where there was medication. What if i didn't see her move our stuff and the medication got misplaced. We were there on vacation and wouldn't be able to get a replacement. Overall the Hotel was 8/10. Front entrance was also under construction.

What made me give it a 4* rating was the staff, They were very helpful with ac issue and accommodating some requests I needed help with. The front staff to the maintenance gentleman for the ac to the room staff were excellent ! The bed was comfortable, the rate was reasonable , waterslide a big hit. But be warned : for those with accessibility/mobilityissues it was a frustrating gongshow out front. Only 2 accessible spots, however there were barriers NOT accessible for walkers, wheelchairs etc as there are curbs, steps AND a flight of stairs to get into the lobby. I was stressed but thankful for two kind men who assisted me and the items up the stairs. Something of this importance NEEDS to be informed on website or upon booking . I didn’t learn until later that there is another parking lot behind the hotel that has a ramp indoors sliding doors from parking lot. There is no ac in elevators or hallways and they were very hot. Over 28c. If the room ac works it’s wonderful. I would stay again only if price was low as I felt pretty land-locked there. No where to walk to and construction everywhere making even a drive out for dinner or coffee or shopping a major ordeal. Loved the 7th floor for the planes, but on a hot July day it’s blistering hot in the room.

I would have liked to leave a positive review, but unfortunately I can’t.

When we arrived after the published check-in time, we were informed that only one of the two rooms we had booked was ready. We were told the second room still needed to be confirmed, which was frustrating after a 10-hour drive.

Unfortunately, the situation became much worse. As soon as we entered our first room, one of the children closed the sliding barn-style bathroom door, and it suddenly came off its track and fell directly on top of her, narrowly missing another child standing nearby. This was a serious safety hazard.

We immediately contacted the front desk. Rather than expressing concern or apologizing, the only response was that maintenance would be sent to repair the door. There was no offer to move us to another room, no gesture of goodwill, and no acknowledgment of how serious the incident could have been.

Eventually, our second room became available and the door was repaired. However, when I asked to speak with a manager, I was told there was no manager on duty and that I would have to wait until the following day.

While issues can happen at any hotel, what truly disappointed me was how the situation was handled. A potentially dangerous incident involving a child deserved empathy, urgency, and proactive customer service. Unfortunately, we experienced none of those things.

I arrived at 12:30 am. There was a bus load of Air Canada passengers dropped off a moment before I arrived. One staff was working. After an hour of waiting to check in the staff announced that if anyone had made a reservation, they could skip the lime of Air Canada passengers using a voucher for a flight today. It would have easily been a 2 hour wait had we not been invited to jump the line. I got to bed at 2 am after 24 hours of travel and no sleepS the bed was comfortable, however the walls are paper thin and I could hear voices and banging clearly.

Liars, rude and unhelpful. An intriging combination for a service industry. Waited an hour and a half to be picked up from the airport day 1. Apparently the shuttle driver didn't come to pick us up because he wanted to wait and combine a booking in 48 minutes. Watched every other hotel shuttle come and go several times.

Clarified with desk staff that the shuttle which had refused to pick us up promptly would not have an issue dropping me to the rental car the next morning. All three desk staff confirmed this would not be an issue. Next morning shuttle driver flatly refused. Said he would drop me randomly at the airport and I would have to find my own way to the rental car depot. Even though I showed he would drive right by it. Had to call Uber.

Travelling for business I cannot recomend more you stay somewhere else.

The hotel and the room were very nice. The room had recently been updated and it was very nice. The walls are paper thin and we could hear our neighbours extremely well from 10-11 pm. We were woken up at 8 am by the jackhammering and construction happening right at the front entrance which we were directly above on the 2nd floor. The restaurant is a hotel restaurant. Very basic menu, slightly overpriced. I ordered the salmon and it was extremely overcooked and I had a side of baby carrots and green beans for $24.95. They gave us 3 little breads but they were quite stale and not warmed up. Lots of possibilities, just lacking a bit in effort. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, but finding a way to keep the water, orange juice and milk cold would be a good idea. It was all pretty warm. The bed was comfortable and we slept great. Pool was amazing. No hot tub. Great shuttle service. Nice front staff. A decent place for one night, but I would door dash the food.
