This accommodation is best described as a reliable and functional base—a textbook example of a solid 3-star property. It delivers perfectly well on the essentials, though travelers should set their expectations accordingly; you won't find high-end amenities here.
On the positive side, the cleanliness was impeccable, which is always the highest priority. The linens were fresh, and all necessary facilities (hot water, Wi-Fi) were consistently reliable. For guests seeking a comfortable, well-maintained place to rest after a day of exploring, this spot does the job perfectly. The staff were present and professional, ensuring a very quick and efficient check-in and out process.

The room I was assigned was so dirty that I had to tell reception who sent a cleaning lady in.
Total lack of attention to basics necessities and details. The hand soap dispenser was empty, the bath panel had traces of dirt that were reminiscent of blood stains.
The microwave was filthy inside and out (the door & handle)
There were some food splashes on the wall, the dishes were not clean. The fridge door and shelves were dirty and crooked (hinges damaged)
On the plus side: the room was spacious, bright and airy with large windows and adjustable shutters. The large bed was comfortable.

The room was much older looking than the pictures. I did get a lovely view of the garden. But, the walls were full of marks. The bathroom seemed clean as well as the bedsheets but there was mold growing on the grout around the shower. The drawers in the bathroom were broken and hard to open. The small kitchen area was inside a closet which doors were hard to open and were dragging along the floor.

We stayed for 10 days and highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a great location It's near the Velodrome, local restaurants, steps from transit stops and within a 35 minute walk of the Old Port. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure.

The hotel room was excellent, the staff at reception were helpful, especially Sakina, and the young Algerian woman with short hair was extremely helpful.

There is air conditioning in the room, there is cooking facilibilties available, I didn't take advantage of them, as its a holiday, I don't wish to cook, but it's available, with pots, pans cutlery at your disposal.

Near Pèrier metro stop, supermarket close by 5 mins walk, a few takeways nearby, easy to get to VIeux Port main tourist area. Lots to see and do. Prices for shopping are cheaper than Paris. Prices for metro are cheaper than London, all in all I enjoyed Marseille, will visit in the near future

Great if your time will be spent outside the hotel exploring. Downtown area with shops, grocery stores, restaurants within seconds/minutes. Good for families that prefer cooking over expensive restaurants. I traveled for relaxation on solo trip. Not a good choice as the hotel has no amenities for this. No restaurant, bar, spa, pool, but you know that going in so my mistake. Train station 5-10 min walk. Would recommend but not to someone looking to enjoy the hotel versus the city.

Great location, and perfect for our needs! I loved the tiny kitchenette so we could do a small amount of catering. The hotel is down the street from the Metro line, and also the Europcar rental place. The AC works well and the black out blinds were amazing, I'd definitely stay again!

Room with small kitchen facilities

The room had everything: bed, TV, bathroom, kitchen facilities with hob, microwave oven, sink, coffee maker, even a small dish washer. The room was quite small and cramped with a table and 2 chairs in the way, leaving little space to move around. The room was very clean. The bed was not very comfortable with a soft mattress which had the shape of too many people sitting on the edge of the bed. We did not use the kitchen and went for breakfast the first day. The breakfast is continental, it was good but we felt that 12 euros is overpriced for it. There are other facilities such as a fitness room and a laundry which we haven't tried. It's a good located hotel, clean, the employes are very nice but the bed was not comfortable enough to stay long.

Details
We stayed for 4 nights in June 2017. It is located 2 metro stops from the harbour area and a 5 minute walk from the nearest metro. We bought a 72 hour travel pass for £9 each which allows you to go on the buses, trams or the metro – great value.

The room was of medium size with a king sized bed, wardrobe and dressing table. There was a medium sized LED TV with French speaking channels. There was the usual toilet, wash basin and shower above the bath – modern and spacious. Only shower gel is provided. The kitchen area is compact but great. Microwave, 2 hobs, pans, plates, etc. Washing up liquid, and towel are also provided as is a hair dryer and more.

They do a continental breakfast for £10 per head. The usual stuff plus scrambled egg and hot dogs. We got our own provisions from the nearby supermarket. There is also a handy takeaway a few minutes walk away.

The wifi worked well on all of our devices.

We slept well, it was amazingly quiet and we found the staff to friendly and efficient. The room was cleaned every day bar one.

My suggestion for improvement – only 1 – make the price of the car parking lower.

All in all we were very pleased with this 3 star hotel – it exceeded our expectations. We give it 9 out of 10 and would stay there again.

Within walking distance of Palais Omnisport Arena

I chose this hotel solely to be within walking distance for business at the local sports arena. The hotel is in a secluded, somewhat seedy, neighborhood about a 25 minute walk to the arena. The surrounding several blocks are residential and medical offices. The area is very quiet with little traffic. There are nearly no shops or restaurants withing 2-3 blocks of the hotel. Go a little farther and there are two commercial streets with some restaurants and grocery stores. The hotel is in good condition. The room and bathroom were both large and clean - at least when I arrived. The floors are tile which were cold and hard (and slippery when walking out of the shower). The bed was a bit hard, but OK. The room was very dark, even with all the lights turned on. Two of the lights were burned out, and outside louvers over the windows meant it was dark even during the day. I was there eight days and housekeeping only showed up only three times to service the room. There is a continental breakfast available, but the choices were unappealing and it was way overpriced. I checked it out the first morning and decided to skip it. The hotel is one block from a metro stop for easy and quick access to the city center and elsewhere. Not many services available at the hotel, but the staff was helpful and spoke English well, with 24 hour desk clerk on duty. Not a hotel issue really, but the three times I used a cab in the area, I got ripped off to a lesser or greater extent.

It Doesn't Get Much Better Than This!

We had a great time. The hotel is about a block from the Perier Metro stop (easy walking distance) and only a stop or two from the Place Castellane. We took the Metro, the Tram, and the bus on an all-day ticket and saw several different parts of the city. Walking distance from the Old Port. Terrific location.

For the price I paid to stay here ( AUD$ 470 per night) I did not find it value for money at all. I would expect 4/5 star for this. The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful and the facilities minimal. I requested a cot for my young son and was told this was not possible.

Mattress very comfortable; The only issue was during my 2 weeks stay, i had problem with internet connection twice; other than that i would strongly recommend this hotel.

Les chambres sont assez standard (mais avec quelques équipements un peu vétustes) et l'hôtel est bien situé. Par contre, il donne sur une rue passante, et les fenêtres coulissantes laissent passer les bruits de motos fréquentes. Nous y avons donc très mal dormi, et nous ne retournerons certainement pas dans cet hôtel.

Le seul inconvénient fut le problème de parking, nous avons failli rester bloqué dans l ascenseur avec la voiture car la porte du garage ne s'ouvrait plus. Le parking est petit et ne convient pas a de grosse voiture.

Nos quedamos dos noches, la limpieza la justa/correcta, hay una escoba, recogedor y fregona para repasar el ultimo día antes de irte. Tiene una pequeña cocina, nevera, lavaplatos y utencilios para prepararte la comida si quieres. El desayuno bien. Hay parquing al que accedes con un ascensor (no os quedeis fuera del coche dentro del ascensor). En resumen, todo es correcto.

Très bon séjour de deux nuits.
J'ai pris une chambre avec terrasse au 8ème étage très agréable mais aurait besoin d'un petit rafraîchissement en peinture. Bien que la chambre donne sur la rue, le quartier est très calme la nuit.
Grande salle-de-bain avec baignoire. Kitchenette avec réfrigérateur, plaque vitrocéramique, micro-ondes, cafetière, bouilloire avec plateau d'accueil, évier, et lave-vaisselle. Petite salle de fitness au 9ème étage. Pas de haute performance mais de quoi poursuivre sa routine d'exercices quotidiens. La terrasse comporte une petite table avec deux chaises. C'est très agréable le soir. Je confirme certains commentaires qu'il faut jeter sa poubelle comme quand on loue une maison. C'est un appart-hôtel. Je n'ai pas pensé à vérifier s'il y avait un service pour l'entretien du linge.
Le point faible est la climatisation un peu bruyante mais pas au point de gêner le sommeil.
Le point fort est le parking en sous-sol accessible par un ascenseur pour 14€ par jour ce qui est beaucoup moins cher et plus sûr que le parking dans la rue mais à réserver à l'avance.
L'hôtel propose le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet bien garni et des plats à réchauffer (très pratique quand on arrive un dimanche soir) à prix abordable (10€ le plat principal).
À 15' de la plage du Prado et du Vieux-Port.
Je ne laisse pas de commentaires habituellement mais j'ai trouvé certains commentaires plutôt rudes et j'ai hésité à réservé. Compte tenu du prix, c'est plutôt correct.

On a eu 2 lit simple coller alors que dans la réservation c’était bien marquer ( 1 lit double ) très désagréable. 1 lumière qui ne marchais pas . La prise qui a été arrachée c’est très dangereux. L’accueil était mauvais je passerais les détails . De plus une caution qui a été dit seulement après ma réservation qui a été prélever directement alors que normalement il devais être « bloquer » et non pas débiter. ( qui d’ailleurs j’attend toujours mon remboursement depuis le 24/06/24 )
Allez jeter sa poubelle ma étonner aussi pour le prix sachant que même dans un hôtel « bas de gamme » on ne dois pas allez jeter sa poubelle nous même .

Hôtel pas loin de tout 15 min du stade vélodrome, 30/40 min de la nôtre dame de la garde , 30/40 min du vieux port ( a pied) , les 2 seules choses auquel je fais attention la prochaine fois c'est demandé côté jardin ou cours ( pas rue ) , je dirais de mettre soit des tapis ou moquette a certain endroit car les gens tape des pieds quand il marche et c'est gênant des fois

L'avantage de cet hotel, c'est qu'il n'est pas loin d'une station de métro et de certaines commodités. Après comme il y avait des travaux, je n'ai pas pu avoir accès à la terrasse...
Dans la description il y a \"lave-vaisselle\" mais je n'ai pas pu l'utiliser. J'ai eu un problème de télévision qui a duré 2 jours mais on ne m'a pas proposé de geste commercial pour le désagrément. Et puis les règles comme aller jeter sa propre poubelle avant de quitter sa chambre m'a fait un peu tiqué!!

J’ai passé un beau séjour. L’établissement était propre et j’ai eu un super accueil de la part de Hassen Melissa et de la réceptionniste du matin d’origine africaine. Ils ont été super sympas du début à la fin.

Le seul gros point négatif a été la jeune réceptionniste de l’après-midi brune au cheveux noir.
Elle était vraiment odieuse, hautaine et impoli: Elle a même pas l’attitude d’une réceptionniste aucun sourire, visage fermé...
Elle voulait me facturer 10 euros la carte de ma chambre juste parce que je l’avais oublié en chambre. De plus, sa responsable m’avait offert le service ménage et elle, elle s’est permise de me dire que le ménage n’était pas compris dans ma réservation à la base …. Elle avait un sérieux problème je me suis demandé de quoi elle se mêle … Une réceptionniste qui se prends pour une responsable …

Elle gâche le service de ses collègues . Je ne retournerai plus jamais dans cet hôtel uniquement pour cette raison .

Déçue des modifications

Séjour agréable par contre 5 nuits sans ménage et sanschangement de serviettes je trouve cela déplaisant .
C est la première fois que cela arrive devoir faire son ménage avant de partir
Ces changements sont pour le moins exagérés ce n est plus un service d hôtel
J hésiterai à revenir

Nous avons séjourné deux semaines pour découvrir Marseille. Logement bien situé à proximité des transports en communs. Quartier calme et chambre spacieuse et bien insonorisée. Grande salle de bains. Petit bémol il manquait de ceintre pour le rangement. Penser à un oreiller à mémoire de forme, si possible. Dans l'ensemble personnel sympathique.

Accueil chaleureuse ,personnel très agréable. Très bien en général par rapport qualité prix.Dommage difficulté de stationnement à côté et l’eau n’été pas très chaude pour se doucher sachant qu’on est en hiver.

Un séjour magnifique

Très beau studio, avec équipement complet. Celui-ci est très bien situé et l'endroit est très calme, près du métro, boulangeries et commerces de proximité.
Un accueil très chaleureux et un personnel très réactif face aux imprévus. La télécommande de la télévision ne fonctionnait pas, le jeune homme de l'accueil a remis des nouvelles piles dans la seconde même. Si vous voulez passer de bonnes vacance, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Super Séjour passé dans cet hôtel. Avec un personnel tres accueillant, aimable et à l'ecoute. Un appartement assez spacieux. Il manquait juste un petit balcon, avec clim a disposition mas négligeable. Petit dejeuner compris dans la location. Hôtel propre et a proximité du metro.
