We stayed at a one bedroom unit and liked the cleanliness, location near Prado, kitchenette and good AC. The sofa bed was reasonably comfortable and clean. However, the property was dated. There were chipped tiles, patchy paint jobs, broken/loose floor skirts, bathtub cracks among other issues. These maintenance issues detract from the overall enjoyment of the stay. Other Citadine properties we've stayed in were better maintained. Also, while there is underground parking available, one must first check-in to get the access card. The parking is also a bit difficult with tight corners and angles.

Just ensure you don't want anything between 12:00 and 14:00 as no is there to provide assistance.

Our key card failed and we had to wait for 2hrs to get back into our room.

The hotel was perfectly located to the stadium for the rugby. The hotel was clean, the staff especially Kamel were friendly, helpful, polite and professional. The breakfast was great! The room was spacious and had a separate toilet. The shower and bath were great. The products in the bathroom were lovely.

Great hotel with helpful staff. Simple but very well appointed hotel especially well located for the Orange Velodrome Stadium. Having a sitting room and galley kitchen was a pleasant bonus.

I have mixed thoughts on this property. First, the pictures online do not match the current condition of the room. Our room had definitely seen better days. That being said, it was very clean. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable; the pull out sofa bed was quite noisy and a bit uncomfortable. The noise from the hallway and adjoining rooms was terrible. There is minimal soundproofing in the walls. The giant water tank in the WC was a surprise. We paid extra for a terrace and it overlooked a parking lot so we didn’t use it. On the positive side, the location is very safe and there are lots of dining choices within walking distance. The room was well stocked with necessities if you choose to eat in. The shower was excellent. There are facilities in the building to do laundry which is very helpful. Overall I would probably not stay here again unless I was able to get a better price.

Could do with an update, fine for a short stay

We stayed at the appartement (not the hotel) and while the service was nice enough the flat was a bit tired and could have done with a deep spring clean. Going in and out of the car park was really hard work as you need to get a key from reception and then bring it back, if no one's there you can't leave or get in! The beds were very comfy, even the sofa one and the kitchenette had everything we needed for a couple of day. Overall it was fine for a couple of night, if it was spruced up it would be much nicer. We didn't try the breakfast.

We stayed in an \"executive suite\", a very simple unit comprised of a kitchenette (two place ceramic plaque, microwave, small fridge), a small bedroom (full sized bed) and a living room with a sofa bed/tv/table. There was a nice balcony with a table and two folding chairs. We brought one in since there was only one inside.
The hotel is close to Saint Joseph's Hospital, which was convenient to us. They also offer covered parking for 15€ per day.

Convenient location

Upon arrival to Citadines in a car, there are no marked parking spots for the hotel, so it's a bit of a guessing game as to where to leave the car without getting fined. The young man at the reception wasn't terribly helpful. I wish I had saved the hieroglyph he drew as to how to get to the garage.
The room had a nice kitchenette were I could make myself tea and warm up some food.

Comfortable suite with nice balcony

We stayed to attend an event at Palais Omnisport. The walk was longer than expected, about good 20 minutes, but taking Uber was easy and facility was specious and comfortable.

Great hotel away from the centre of Marseilles. Location was convenient to the Calanques, which was our primary destination to visit on this trip. We had a car, so getting to the centre of town wasn't a problem. Room was spacious, clean and had a small kitchenette which was fantastic.

We just stayed one night on route between Montpellier and Nimes, but with the pool we wish we were not in such a rush! The room was nice and spacious, but the sofa bed was very uncomfortable (more so than normal!), and our neighbour kept us up until the early hours (which is not the hotels fault!).

One night was not enough in this great place!

Only stayed the one night to see Paul McCartney in concert and this hotel is perfect for the veladrome - only 20mins walk if that. These small apartments are perfect and we wished we had booked in for longer as they would make a great base for discovering the rest of Marseilles.

Arrived after 22:00 so I had to use a comms system to gain access and to try and locate my room key. The wifi was not secure so I could not use it. On the positive side there was a hot drinks machine in the foyer that enabled you to have tea coffee or hot chocolate. Rooms were tired and the bed not particularly comfortable.

Other than the neighborhood. the hotel was very nice. The staff was very polite, courteous, helpful, and just about everything I could ask for. Very convienent to bus stop and local cafes. Shopping nearby.
Definately would recommend this place and would stay here on another visit.

Citidines Prado has wonderful, friendly helpful staff. The property is situated close to a major bus route and the Perier underground Metro station. We used inexpensive 24 h or 72 h transport tickets. The number 83 bus ride along the coastal route past beaches to the old port was relaxing and pretty. Within the limitations of the property and its age, Citidines is excellent in providing the travellers needs for rest, security, and ability to obtain food and tourist information. The airconditioning, hot water, internet, lifts, fridge, TV, dishwasher were all reliable. A laundry was available. We had a sunny balcony, separate toilet and a split sofa bed so it can open only one side if only one side is needed. The separate bedroom is not much larger than the bed, but that is fine for slim people.

It was so relaxing staying at this Apartment. It was close to the shopping area, and we were able to drive to the main attractions. There is a laundry, a kitchenette, a balcony. The rooms were dated, but clean. Would definitely stay there again.

Fine Stay - convenient to metro stops

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. They upgraded me to the \"studio club\" for no charge (has a mini kitchen in the room). My only complaint is that the air conditioning slowly stared not working throughout the week and shower head would not stay up. They sent someone to fix the shower head but it didn't help.

The hotel in general was good and the staff were very helpful., located pretty convenient to the Pranot Convention Centre. The problem was the reception not being open after 8 pm that I couldn't receive any phone call. The internet connexion was terrible too.

Prado chanot was great

Spacious rooms free tea clean common areas. Te staff was reaaly helpful. I thought e WiFi was slow and a hassle to log onto everyday . Don't bother with the breakfast as you can buy food from the carefour ner by and boulangerie to make your own French petit dejuneq.

Definite recommended to famillies.

This hotel was fine--nothing super but not terrible. It's about ten to fifteen minutes (walking) from the nearest metro station, and didn't seem to be close to the waterfront or the city center. The hotel staff was helpful enough, even giving us a street map and pointing us in the direction of the metro. As for the room, it was your standard budget hotel room. They did have wifi available, which was nice, but we wound up parking in a paid hospital parking lot down the street, so if you're driving, be aware that we weren't made aware of any on-site parking.

L’endroit est tout près du vélodrome et des points à voir sur Marseille que nous avons fait à pied depuis l’hôtel même Notre Dame de la Garde jusqu’au secteur du Panier.

Très bien placé proche du métro Périer, la résidence est calme et bien entretenu. Studio confortable, bien équipé avec une bonne literie et la climatisation.

Une nuit correcte dans cet établissement, propre. Il manque juste un coussin supplémentaire ou un de plus pour pouvoir s'adosser devant la télévision lorsqu'on en a besoin ou envie. peut-être revoir le chauffage dans la salle de bains.

Bon sejour , personnel efficace et plaisant .
Bien équipé et propre .
Je suggère toute fois de mettre des patins sur les pieds de chaise. Gros bruits lorsque les clients déplacent les chaises !
J’étais au 3 étage et plusieurs fois dérangée par ce bruit .

チェックイン時にちょっとトラブルこそありましたが、フロントの方々がとても柔軟に対応してくださって、快適に過ごせました。広さはそこそこ広い方だと思います。通りからエントランスがちょっと分かりにくい分、とても静かです。バルコニーからお庭でのんびり遊んでいるネコちゃんが遊びに来ているのが見えて、ほほえましかったです。バスルームとトイレが完全に独立していて、日本人には使い勝手がいいのでは？室内もとても清潔です。
