We had a great time. The premises is clean and well kept. Air con was lovely. Bed was comfy. Pool was fun. Breakfast delicious and staff are kind and helpful.
The location is great with the beach across the street for snorkelling, kayaking and watching the sunset. Lots of gear available including water booties, life jackets, fins including kid sizes. Easy to catch the bus and there is a rental car place just down the road. One/two restaurants within walking distance. All was very easy and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, quiet place to stay. Bus stop right outside, and location is not too far from the airport. Breakfast options included local fruit and the variety of foods was good. The breakfast ladies were a delight, and Vikki and Naomi at the front desk were efficient, friendly and helpful. Our airport transfers went very smoothly.

The staff were all super helpful and welcoming. Breakfast ladies were fabulous as was our happy hour lady along with the office ladies and grounds folk. Lovely setting and a Ross from the lagoon were the water was great . Rooms are a little tided and need a few updates but all n all our stay was fabulous thank you 🙏

Spotless and lovely rooms. The friendliest staff ever - from the front desk to the cleaners to the grounds keepers and ladies in the food/drinks area.

They also arrange transfers for you.

Lots of free snorkelling equipment. Best snorkelling so far in the South Pacific.

Kayaks available. Laundry facilities too.

Bus stop just outside the gates to go to the marhet in Avarua or anywhere else on the island.

I definitely would book here again if i come back!

Stunning views, amazing pool side and wonderful management. The breakfast options were plentiful and happy hour was great. Awesome option for families. You would really need access to a car, scooter, bikes or get a pass to travel on bus to get around. It had everything you need for self sufficient stay.

The rooms offer an authentic experience. Plenty of rooms for family of 4. Everything we needed were provided. Breakfast was basic but was expected. The only minor thing was there can be ants in the room but didn’t bother us too much. All the staff were friendly and accomodating.

A haven in paradise

Lagoon Breeze Villas was a delightful haven in Rarotonga. The houses are confidante and secluded, the staff are wonderful, and the pool is cool and refreshing. The snorkeling in the lagoon opposite is the best on the island and they provide all the equipment that you need. We loved our stay!

It was our first time staying in a Villa and we loved it. We had everything we needed and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The garden villas are a bit dated but very comfortable and clean, the grounds are beautiful, great snorkeling across the road from the complex.

The only downside of staying at the Lagoon Breeze Villas was that our holiday was not long enough. Vicki and Nomi at reception were so helpful - anything you need around the island ask Vicki, she is an amazing concierge and provides excellent advice on anything to do with Raro. Our studio was very clean, private, and had everything we needed. The mama's and ladies working at the villas were very friendly and helpful. Vicki arranged for out transport from the airport to the villa's and return - a literally door to door service. They even made sure that our room was made up early and ready for us on arrival in Rarotonga at 7am, as she knew that we would have been very tired. Delicious (and super fresh) fruit for the continental breakfast. Definitely recommend, and we are already planning a trip back.

Our stay at Lagoon Breeze Villas was an absolute delight from start to finish. The warm hospitality of the staff, especially Vikki, Naomi and the attentive Mamas, made us feel like part of their family. The breakfast selection was good, with a variety of delicious exotic fruits. The spacious and comfortable villas with air conditioning provided a perfect retreat, and the location was ideal. We enjoyed the best snorkeling on the island, just a short 5-minute walk away, kayaking and the nearby rustic Shipwreck with tasty and fresh food, delightful pina coladas, live music and stunning sunsets. Our experience at Lagoon Breeze Villas was truly unforgettable, thanks to the fantastic accommodation, attentive staff, and the remarkable assistance provided by Vikki during a challenging situation. It's a paradise we'd love to return to.

Nice size resort only 25 villas, breakfast included and 4.30 happy hour most days. Beach right across road. We had 2 bedroom villa with 2 baths. At the front.Great views, large covered deck area,will spend most of our time there. excellent amenities, kitchen if you want to self cater. Celling fans and aircon.will stay again.

We had a studio apartment which was a little on the small side but fine for our needs. However the bigger villas were very spacious. It was very clean and a good location close to the beach. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was good. We didn’t have a car but it was an easy bus ride around the island. The only downside would be the lack of food other than breakfast. Would have liked an on-site shop or restaurant when we arrived hungry in the evening.

Villas, are clean simple and spacious, especially relative to nearby resorts, which tho on the beach tend to be louder, more crowded and condensed. I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at Lagoon Breeze Villas-just a pity the weather wasn't more conducive to swimming in the lagoon each day. The property is excellently maintained-there are staff working in their areas most of the time. They are all welcoming, helpful and informative-if they can't assist immediately, they will get back to you. All this is done with a smile. I would not hesitate recommending this property. The only downfall (sadly) is the loud, barking and howling of the dogs in the property over the northern side fence, during the night.

Our stay there was amazing! Such a wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Super close to the beach. We were originally recommended to stay on Muri beach but so glad we stayed here instead. I loved the village feel and how kids could be let free! So much space too. The pool and play area were both good size too. Would definitely recommend and stay again for sure!

We stayed for 5 nights at Lagoon Breeze Villas in a 2 story villa. Vikki and Naomi were absolutely wonderful in helping us navigate tours, car rental, dinner reservations, and were so kind to our children. This is a very family friendly resort- our children played with other families and had an absolute blast. There is great snorkeling equipment, sea kayaks and even reef shoes to borrow. There is laundry on site, with clothes lines behind the villas. The resort dog Coco, and three cats, as well as the chickens and roosters add island charm to the experience. The beach across the street has wonderful snorkeling, and is not busy. There is a covered bus stop across the street from the resort. The villas have all you need to cook any meal at home, including a beautiful covered front porch. I can't say enough about how much we loved this resort. We are trying to plan to come back and without question we would stay here again.

Rarotonga is a great destination! I can't wait to return and I would stay at Lagoon Breeze again. Bit of a drive into town, but a local bus or hiring a car or a bike sorts that. Awesome staff! Great new villas, nice pools and lovely beach in front. Great breakfast choices in the outdoor area.

Just one thing, there were not many restaurants around there in walking distance. But our room had a kitchen so we cooked dinner for a few nights.

Amazing room/location, many small issues

Check-in ended up being pretty painless. They offered an Airport Shuttle, but I found it to be a little expensive ($32 NZD per person), so we took the bus. If we went back, we'd definitely take the shuttle for the early check-in.
Also noteworthy, Hotels.com showed check-in at 8AM. However, the front desk person said check-in was never before noon. Thankfully, our room was already cleaned and they let us check in early.

Room was clean and very large, but had ants everywhere until we sprayed RAID on our doors and windows. Full kitchen with sink, microwave, and stovetop was nice. They had wifi, but it was pay per megabite. I got 2 GB for $20NZD if I remember correctly. They said that was a \"sale\", and normally it was only 500MB for that price. Very disappointing in today's world of youtube and netflix. I connected my laptop to the wifi and it automatically downloaded updates and used up all 2 GB in ~20 minutes. What an oversight.

Location was amazing for the beach. Right across the road there's a sandy beach, and, as a local told us, \"the best swimming on the island\". Right next to a minigolf restaurant for food. Other than that, you need to walk 15+ minutes for any food if you don't rent transportation.

Coming back to the island, we'd probably stay in one of the larger resorts with free wifi and more amenities.

The most friendly place to stay in Rarotonga

The staff here are amazing, the most accommodating and helpful I found in my stay in Cook Islands. Small things like money for the bus, early check in after a flight, transfers for dinner , transfers for airport, nothing was too much trouble and it felt like a home away from home. Ok top of this the location is across the road from prob the best best and snorkeling spot in raro! Would recommend this as the best value for money accommodation on the island

Great location, brilliant staff and clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were super friendly and gave us lots of tips for where to go and what to see, and on our final day left out towels and toiletries for us to use in a common shower so we could clean off before our flight. The cabin was really comfortable, and while we didn't use the kitchen it seemed to be well equipped. Location is perfect - right across the road from the beach and lots of snorkeling spots nearby, great cafes and beach bars down the road. Highly recommended, we didn't want to leave!

I stayed in a studio apartment for about a week. Very clean and spacious with good air conditioning and nice kitchen area and bathroom. It was just a 1 minute walk to the pool or reception or the breakfast area. Also convenient if you need to do laundry, you can buy tokens at reception for the washing machine and drier located just behind the reception. The beach is immediately across the road from the site entrance and snorkelling is good with lots of big blue starfish ! There is a rental shop and a convenience store within an easy 5 minute walk if you turn right on leaving the site. Only downside is wifi. You have to buy vouchers and it is metered so its easy to use up if you are not careful to switch most apps off :( However this is an island-wide issue not specific to this resort. Also must thank the lovely ladies on reception for all their help and advice.

Family Friendly Quality Accommodation

This was our second stay at Lagoon Breeze Villas and this time we brought friends to stay as well. The experience was excellent for all concerned. Checkin was a breeze and the staff were all, especially Vicki, so very, very helpful.
Our rooms were cleaned regularly and the self catering facilities were excellent. The snorkelling across the road is such a bonus and it is great that Lagoon Breeze has equipment available for guests.
We would definitely visit again!

Beautiful surroundings in clean comfortable spacio

On arrival we were so impressed with the villas as they are very spacious and have everything you need. The cleaning staff keep the place immaculate. The pool is wonderful and location to beach very good. Beautiful breakfasts provided every morning in a lovely cafe area. Only downside is no restaraunt available at night and limited places available in near vicinity. A rental car was a must but otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely want to go back here again. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

We loved our stay at Lagoon Breeze. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit and yogurt and lovely coconut muffins. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. It was a short walk to across the street to some of the best snorkeling on the island. It was very family friendly and the grounds were very well maintained. We hope to be back soon!

Friendly and relaxing!

Had a lovely stay here on a mellow side of the island. The staff were all friendly and the grounds were beautiful. The bus stop is right across the street and there are bike/scooter/car rentals really close by if you want to get around on your own.

Nice bungalows close to the beach

Great experience. Start your day with a great breakfast which was fresh juices, fruit and yogurt. If you wanted toast or cereal that was also available. Snorkeling equipment is available for all sizes and is cleaned after use. The beach is across the road and perfect for snorkeling with blue starfish, sea cucumbers and fish right off the shore. You don't even have to get your feet wet to see them. The staff is incredibly friendly and fun. Easy to catch a bus and the mini golf place next door was an incredible restaurant.
