The New Hyatt Place Canton is located in the Belden Village Shopping area. Our hotel includes a complimentary breakfast, indoor pool and fitness center.
We are near the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Gervasi Vineyards, Fannie Mae Chocolate Factory, McKinley Science Museum and Classic Car Museum. We are South of Akron Canton Airport.
Canton has an abundance of beautiful public golf courses.The hotel is 4 story building with 105 hotel rooms, easy access to /from I-77. The hotel is located in heart of Belden Village area near the Mall and restaurants and 5 miles from Akron Canton Airport.

The reason why I gave only three stars is that the Wi-Fi was spotty at best, pretty terrible at worst. They advertise that you can cast to the TVs because they are smart TVs, but you couldn’t do it. When I asked the front desk about it, they said that they recently replaced the TVs and that they weren’t capable of casting, anymore, yet in all of the QR code amenities listings, it says that you can still cast to the TVs. Also, the Wi-Fi was very spotty. Several times during my stay, I got an error code every time I tried to connect to the Wi-Fi.

The breakfast was only fair with processed scrambled eggs and bacon that didn't look real. They actually cooked for you the last time. Based on price and other properties in the area, would not stay here again.

Our room had no wifi and even though offered to move us to a different room… I opted not too because of hope the wifi would start working . Plus we had already settled into our room. My brother and I were at the Canton Hyatt place for what became a family death. Two people in particular made our stay so wonderful, despite it being for the loss of our sister. JERZEE and STEPHANIE were so lovely. They were kind and supportive. Excellent service! On the day we left, Mallory was also so kind. My kids and I will be back to stay in a week for the funeral. A great stay! Room was overall clean, our bathroom shower had some hair from previous guest still in the shower but other than that, clean. Bed was comfy! Plenty of food, coffee and shopping options surrounding the hotel which we loved. Our ONLY complaint was the hotel is right off of the interstate and on a pretty busy road and our hotel room was in the front of the hotel so it was kinda loud even with our sound machines going. We will definitely be staying here again when in Canton.
