The room was so dirty... Stains on the sheets, the bathroom wasn't clean.. the tv was on when we walked into the room.. the floors were so damaged, they were bowed in several places.

We had our dog with us, so we were put into a pet friendly room... Cool.. fine.. except, it smelled like 500 dogs were shoved into the room with 0 ventilation for a month straight and it was never cleaned.

Homeless encampment behind our room.

For the price, all of these things would have been fine, had the room not smelled SO awful and would have actually been cleaned between guests. Just because I had my dog, does not mean I am not a clean person and shouldn't have to suffer from other peoples gross-ness.

I hated everything about it & want my money back!!! Was dirty, unsafe, lied on the website & used other pictures of other Rodeway Inn's to get people to book a room there. nothing what the website showed. yellow stains on towels provided, pubic hair in the dirty bedding. grease/ food all in the room & phone. 1 working outlet. AC did not work. bathroom was dirty & disgusting, mold in the toilet. vent in bathroom filled with dirt & grime that when vent turned on it sprayed out dirt particles that was in the vent. window curtain was cut up ***I have pictures*** noted also that in December of 2024 a police officer & another person died from gun shots there. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone & it should be taken off the internet or Expedia site. Total scam & takes your money. I NEVER did stay there & opted to stay in a different hotel to sleep with clean bedding, no bed bugs or pubes in the bed. Even the owner of this place told me its not a normal motel like all the others DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVEN FOR MY DOG!!! TOTAL SCAM!!!

This place was a mess. It is cheaper for a reason. Upon arrival to the room, my wife and I had to clean the entire room ourselves due to dirt and dust all over the entire room. There was hair all over the shower. The shower head was broken and didn’t work properly. All of the mirrors in the room were filthy and the microwave and refrigerator looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. This place is a motel so the door leads outside. The problem with our room was you could see through the cracks of the door to the outside. I pushed the extra recliner chair against the door for safety due to “strange” people hanging out in the parking lot at night time. To make matters worse, we were told check-out was at 11 AM. The morning we left, the front desk staff was pounding on our door at 9 AM to go check out. I would give this place zero stars if I could but you get what you pay for literally lol

The doors don’t even lock or have a safety figure that isn’t broken. There is no comforters just stained sheets. The pillows look flat and pillow cases stained and gross. The bathroom was dirty and toilet was gross. The bathroom door didn’t shut. Was told at check in make sure when taking a shower to shut the bathroom door or the fire alarm would go off. Homeless guys standing out the check in asking for money or a room.
The biggest issue is we found two bed bugs on the wall side of the bed.

Staff stalks women. Asked not to be disturbed but received several knocks on the door a day at all different hours asking if we wanted housekeeping. Felt very unsafe. Housekeeping male sat in an empty construction room across the lane from us, in the shadows of the corner looking out the window and watched everything we did when outside and when we were coming and going. \"Guests\" are living there smoking drugs, cigarettes and cooking on hotplates. Fire alarm system going off constantly. Police knocking on doors and patrolling the lots frequently. No refund when requested. Rude male owner who ran front desk. Horrible and hostile customer service from him. Save your money and spend it elsewhere! Trash all over yard and highway traffic sounds 24/7. Ants crawling all over bathroom floor at night. Both of us had a very hard time breathing after using heating/cooling system and it reaked of burning hair when starting up. Even allergy meds didn't help.

He told me it's non-smoking as soon as I hit the room I could smell cigarettes the refrigerator buzzes louder than the TV is there's hairs and the bathtub there's pee all over the back of the toilet as if this room's never been cleaned there's a junkie blanket that's not even a warm comforter the heater doesn't work right blowing out cold air this place is a dump and it's very unsafe the cops are here all the time for drug busts prostitution rings some guy murdered somebody and they had the whole area shut down just a month ago

Key card did not work so I was outside in freezing cold 5-7 minutes and had to return to office to get new key. Hot water in shower was awesome as was heater. Several recent shootings and bullet dents on a room in the 200 section are concerning. Staff was very nice.

Due to area storms, all other hotels were sold out. This was, perhaps, the worst hotel I’ve ever seen. The door security lock was broken on my door and let me tell you, you’re going to want one. The bed was completely sunken in, in the middle. The towels hardly cover a persons leg. This is all around just a terrible place to stay.

Avoid this place like the plague

This place is an absolute joke. I had booked three rooms for two nights. When we arrived the a/c had been turned off and it felt like 85 degrees, took 3-4 hours to get the room cool. The rooms were dingy, filthy and sparse. In one of the rooms two outlet covers were missing with the wires exposed. The telephone in the room was so filthy, I didn't want to look at it, let alone use it.The mini fridge made noise all night. Had to ask for towels since there was only one for a room two people were using, The towels were the thinnest I have ever experienced, I actually had to use paper towels to dry my hair.No one came in to clean the rooms, so we had dirty towels on the floor and no fresh linens. The floors were so dirty the bottom of our socks were black from the filth. It was obvious the floors have not been washed in weeks, This place is an absolute dump. Avoid it like the plague !!!!

I’ll start this review acknowledging that the gentleman working there was nice. The Rodeway Inn is dirty (we had to switch rooms bc the first had not been cleaned in some time). There was a dead bug in the bathroom, the floor was filthy, and nothing was wiped off. After asking to be moved, the second room was not much better. I had to ask for the vacuum to be run, there was no chair, the floor was still dirty, and the fridge/freezer had not been cleaned for a long time, as there was black mold in the freezer. I checked out a day early and they will issue no refund. Absolutely terrible! Sleep in your car before staying here!

Extremely DIRTY. The floors, the bathrooms, the mattresses. Even my toddler refused to use the bathrooms here.

My bedsheets were dirty with black stains. The shower curtain had some sort of black stain along the length of the curtain. There was a broken computer monitor left behind from the previous person who stayed in the room. Upon entering the room there was soda cardboard box trash above where you’d hang your jacket near the sink. All sorts of debris on the carpet. The facility and room was just overall dirty.

This was the filthiest hotel we have ever stayed in. I wore shoes every time my feet hit the floor. The 1 year old ran around in bare feet and her feet were black. The floors are coming apart, you feel every spring in the bed. I would stay in my car before I stayed there again. This property probably hasn't been updated in decades. Just awful.

This is a non-smoking facility and our room REEKED of smoke. My husband had an asthma attack. We immediately went to staff and asked for cleaning and more towels. Came back five hours later and had towels but room was untouched and still extremely gross and dirty. We ran to Walmart and grabbed cleaning supplies and should be paid for their freshly cleaned room. We even removed the air filters and cleaned those - they looked like they hadn't ever been cleaned, they were that filthy. We left the remaining bleach/wipes and a note that said - \"maybe you needed materials to clean this room, hope it helps - we're willing to train on HOW to clean\"

Travel my bud to see the HOF. Needed a cheap stay for about 6 -8 hours. The price was right. The lobby was boarded up and looked like storage- first clue. Second clue was the night slot and maybe the sign earring about stolen items and locked doors. I asked if this was the rough part of town. Stayed at a lot of dives- this one is top 2 nastiest places. NO jokes or exaggeration- door had broken security lock and deadbolt barely secured the door. We checked. The desk and chair (stained up) were beat up. I put the chair in front of the door. The heater looked like a rusty car front end. There was white bug killer on the floor near the wall. The freezer and fridge were crusted shut. The toilet seat was roughed up and it ran all night. Only a half a roll of TP. The floor was warped. The tub looked dirty but was stained. We had two towels but one had blood or something on it. Pulled the sheet back and the bed had human hair scatted around it. Slept with my cloths on top of covers. The pillows looked like some had a pillow fight with them. Put a shirt over the pillow. One electric outlet didn’t work and one by the bed was covered. The tv worked fine. No tissue in the room. The ceiling attic cover was loose. There were command hooks on the front door and near the sink instead of a towel bar or attached hook. Microwave was gross. Water from shower was hot. I’m sure this place is a low income/ homeless shelter. What a crazy adventure.

We are traveling with dogs. I understand we should be grateful for places that allow pets but.... This place was pretty rough. Odors, smoke alarms going off because someone smoked in a room, it went off for 15 minutes, they couldn't turn it off?! Noisy and the people around here look a little scary, some living in these rooms.. Glad to be leaving.

That old saying \"you get what you pay for* has never been more true. The ace is cheap and you can tell it is cheap. This is not a place to stay if you want to feel safe and secure in your room. The doors look like they have all been kicked in at one point or another. The place is absolutely filthy and it is a filth that can never be cleaned. There are no good perks to this room other than it has a bed, with two flimsly little pillows and a small TV. The shower was nasty and the bathroom is smaller than a normal closet. BUT it was cheap and I knew I wasn't going to be getting a fancy room. I really would only recommend this place as a very last resort.

There was a rotten banana on the floor behind the bed, a cigarette in the shower, and stains in the shower/toilet. There were flies in the room. The pictures are not accurate at all. It looks nothing like the pictures. Things were falling apart, and it was just messy in general. Checking in was a hassle because there was a glass panel (like a teller window); I couldn’t even go in. The man I checked in with had a very thick accent that was hard to understand through the glass. There was lots of other noises going on too. He had AirPods in, as well. It was very unprofessional.

Honestly it’s not bad for the price. The saying you get what you pay for is true in this case. The pillows was awful. Housecleaning never came around. The front office is roped off in caution tape can’t even enter. Plus the toilet seat in my room looked like it was spotted. Was so old that the paint was peeling off. Next time I will find another place. Staff was okay in the front office at least the guy I met. The place needs a huge remodel.

This was the most disgusting room I have ever seen. The picture from the site is no where close to the room. Holes in the sheet and blanket, holes in the wall. The door was pulled apart and no lock due to being broke. The bathroom was disgusting dirty and pieces together. The room was non smoking yet tjhr stench of smoke was overwhelming and I had to leave after 3 hours due to the smell. I tried to get refund but Reen said since I was there more than 15 minutes could not. This is unacceptable. You promote false pictures of what the room looks like and you expect to get what you looked at and I did not. I have several picture if you would like. This hotel needs to be taken off your listings because it is false advertising. I am disappointed that the hotel not this site will compensate me due to me having to leave the hotel due to my allergies and not being able to breathe so I left. I would like a response as to why you will not refund.

Check-in was from outside thru a window like at a bank. Not allowed into lobby. It was freezing outside. Employee (or owner) knew very little English so that made it difficult to ask questions. Motel had 5 or 6 available wifi portals but all had poor signal so we were not able to get on any of them. Bath towels were just a little larger than the mat that you use on the floor in the bathroom for shower. Bed was comfortable but there was only a summer bedspread sandwiched between two sheets. The pillows were uncomfortable possibly because they were folded in half and stuffed into a pillow case. They were not the normal size pillow. Folding made them square. Very odd. Heater also stopped working in the middle of the night.

The door to our room you could not lock the door. We had no wash cloths, no towels, no bedspreads on the bed. The

for the price I paid I would say it was excellent, especially the night I arrived there was a note outside to lock your cars, so I asked front desk, they said it is just a general note, that night I was concerned but when I saw bright light in front of all rooms, that was very assuring, the owner himself told me, he put all the lights, management people, every single one was very very understanding, courteous, anything I needed, they delivered, most of all not even one single bug :) in the room, amazing, couple of minor things I mentioned to front desk and they promised to work on it.
Another good thing online you can book this hotel for the same day so if you decide not to stay you can cancel for free but if you have any concerns, talk to front desk b4 and they will try to accommodate you and you can even look at the room b4 you decide to stay, My ckin was 3 pm and she let me have room at 11am, never seen that b4, also she let me choose or ck my room b4.

Dirty, office banging in door at 3 am saying not registered. Had to have new key everyday no cleaning at all. Had to go to office to get trash bag just to empty own trash. I will never stay there again. Worst place to stay.

I was totally disappointed with this place . When I checked in there was no trash can , I asked the housekeeper who as next door , she said there was no trash can for that room ? It got worse from there on

The people in the room next to me decided to change the brakes on their car at 7:30 on Sunday morning. The place looked like a homeless encampment rather than a hotel.

was placed at the back of the property where the only handicap rooms were located found many of the rooms were filled by permanent residence, people were tearing their cars apart in the parking lot. and were making lots of noise all night long. old furniture in the rooms made it hard for a wheelchair to move around could not get around the bed or table to the bathroom. a/c unit front cover was falling off, the room was clean and did not smell bad yes the place was older and well used this place could be a nice motel again if some of these issues were addressed. this is a motel, not a 5-star hotel

It wasn't the best hotel the room was okay for the price. The staff was very nice and friendly. This was a last minute booking because all the surrounding hotels were booked. If you just need to get a few hours sleep then this would be the place to stay. If you plan on staying for few days I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

BEDBUGS!!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE. THEY HAVE BEDBUGS!!!! My husband woke up to a bedbug crawling on him the first night of a two night stay. He immediately checked out! The manager refused to refund the room for the second night which was not used. We had to book a new hotel for the second night of his business trip. We book hotels in Canton frequently and this is the only one that was so disgusting and infested with bedbugs. STAY ELSEWHERE!!

Dirty!

Asked for a cleaner room, 2nd room just as bad. Made beds had crumbs and stuff under the blankets.
