I like the way that the cleaners come everyday and clean and give new things. everything is always clean made us so happy I think hotel marble deserve 5 star if we come to Turkey again we will hundered present come to marble hotel again

2 big problems to mention here, their Air conditioning system which sometimes does not work and when you ask them to fix the answer is: this is what we have :), very rude answer but it seems this is the culture there.
Avoid going there during the summer, too hot when the AC is not working.

The communication with most of the stuff is so difficult the majority does not speak a very good English which a real problem.

The other thing, this hotel is rated as a 4 star hotel but not sure what does 4 stars means in Istanbul, I would rate it 3 stars

I personally would not stay here again. For the amount of money I paid I could definitely find something better.

the location is great, just 2 mn from taksim square.
the Hotel is clean but not so wow, you can still see dust on the dresser, but other than this every thing was very good, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Basic, clean accomodations

This hotel is in an excellent location for touring Istanbul. The ammenities are basic, the rooms are clean and there is a swimming pool indoors.
The lighting is poor and the lobby/bar are dismal, but the daily breakfast is excellent.

The hotel is very poor and very old in everything, furniture, aircondition, no blackout only two stripes of curtains at both sides, you can feel wing from windows, the nightstands each lamp has a different light color, other light is turned off, rooms are very very small , also very lousy especially the connected rooms as you are with the other people at the same room , and all this I was in the new building so what's about the old one ???!!! breakfast should finishes at 10.00 but if you go at 9.15 you will find nothing to eat also no varieties to find if you go earlier, reception staff are very aggressive and not flexible at all and this if you even find them on the counter they are always staying in a room back according to freezing so the lobby is not heated guests too cannot even stay and you feel you are in a desert

Fair deal overall

Generally OK.Room rate is a bit high for the facility. Staff is generally helpful. Breakfast is pretty good and manager is super. Proximity to resturants and shopping is a big plus, also the availability of the airport bus.

Not to trust rating until you see it by yourself

very disappointed room was not as advertise at all, not clean small not 3 or 2 may even 1 star hotel. first time I found Hotel.com rates are completely wrong. worse stay I have witnessed during my booking with Hotels.com and during my trips to Turkey.

4 star hotel is not matching actual condition.

Room was big enough,but faciltity old. No boiler or tea coffee available unless you pay for it. Hotel should be called economic hotel ,not 4 star. Overall, breakfast is good,good staff.

Marble Hotel really by Taksim Square,

Good part is the hotel is right by the Taksim Square and we find it very safe to walk around. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel room is small and need need reno. Hotel front desk is not friendly, the female front desk is doing her minimum. We asked for the directions to the Hard Rock Cafe which h is a few blocks away, and all she said was no idea and back to her bookkeeping And has no interest to find the info for us. We actually walked to a neighbor hotel, the front desk used his phone to help us step by step on how to get there (that is what we call customer service).
Breakfast is sufficient, almost all the hotels offer similar selections, and again no service at all. The staffs look tired and not want to be there. The male staff is actually sitting by a empty table who more looks like a prizon guard to watch the guests eating.

Had said, it is a budget hotel at a very good location. If you don't want to pay more and don't care about service or comfort, a good choice. We only used the room for sleeping and out for the entire day.

the hotel is in a great location, but the room furniture was so outdated. the bed mattress was so hard, and it wasn't comfortable at all. the breakfast was okay. I think the hotel is expensive for the quality of the room furniture. the only good point is that it has a good location.

Good Hotel for Long Stay for family & friends

the hotel staff was very friendly, special thanks to Reception Guys Fatih and Ali..
the breakfast was delicious and rich, but the room space was too small, and cleaning it didnt meet our expectations... unfortunate, the triple room doesn't have Bosphorus view, but we enjoyed it from Restaurant windows every day..the Wi-Fi was working fine from all Hotel locations.. we would like to stay there again..

The single beds are old you can feel springs sticking out not comfortable and too much small if you need to flip you must be extra extra carefully so you don't fill on the ground I asked to change to one bed only in a room but larger bed full or double or king they refuse to work out any thing and there way of dealing it was so bad like I m asking for impossible with very rood way

Reallyclose to the tram funicular and the metro. We got a view over the bosphorous. Breakfast good but end quite early 10. Heated swimming pool great for autumn after hard day of exploring. Starbucks 20 meters away. In the area with the good bars and restaurant not exclusive to te tourists. Shuttle bus from ataturk airport dropped me about five minutes away. Shuttle bus to bayrampasa nearby too.

Staff very friendly nice atmosphere

I booked this hotel on hotels.com according to the details of my room, which should have included 2 beds and an in-room safe box. However, when I got there my room included one bed and no in-room safe. I complained to the front desk and showed them my reservation, which mentioned that my room should have 2 beds and an in-room safe box .. but he said he is sorry and he cannot provide me with such a room since the whole hotel was fully booked. I was very disappointed because I didn't get what I wanted and what I paid for !!

I got there one night and had high expectations of the room. It said that the rooms were escaping and had a high standard with mini bar. Mini bar, where? There was an empty fridge. The room was very small quite dusty and smelled of cigarette smoke.

Of course, I had booked a date with a girl friend who would come up to the room for a drink before we went out. But no, she could not come up to the room by hotel staff. When I asked why, I just got to answer this is Istanbul. (Third time I'm in istanbul, and it has NEVER happened before. That I can not bring dates or friends up to the room!)
Once we came back and she would sleep over I had to pay for half the room charge. Though I had done it in advance through hotels.com.

Are you going to Istanbul to meet girls, I can not recommend this hotel.

The hotel has no standard of four stars. Maybe three for their room service round the clock.

The hotel is located right next to Taksim Square, where the metro and funicular can be reached. The restaurant staff was more than willing to serve. There was a lack of variety in food options at breakfast. The front desk staff were mixed. It often seemed that you were bothering them by asking a question, and they lacked a firm command of English which made it hard if you needed directions or asking specific questions. The room was clean, serviced properly, and the overall hotel was fine. There are many eating options for all budgets in the area, not to mention several bakeries and some supermarkets to stock up on supplies.

Hotel has very good location, right next to Taksim square and Istiklal street. you can find anything you want around it.

Very good service for a 4 star hotel, room was always clean (make sure you tip room service).

Breakfast wasn't bad.

Hotel has facilities like indoor swimming pool, hammam and massage.

AC was bad in the rooms, but we didn't need it because we went in September.

Hotel Staff was ok. They didn't speak very good english but we managed to communicate.

Überfreunfliche Mitarbeiter, die Rezeptionsmitarbeiter waren eher scheinheilig. Haben nicht das gebuchte Zimmer 23m² bekommen. Musste mich 15m² begnügen. Meine Beschwerde über das Zimmer aber auch über den Fernseher (hatte schlechten Empfang) sowie über die Klimaanlage (war ausser Betrieb) wurde an der Rezeption freundlichts angehört und freundlichts ignoriert. Auf eine erneute Anfrage kam dann nur noch; hat sich etwa immernoch keiner um sie gekümmert. Das war mir dann zu scheinheilig und ich hab es dann aufgegeben. Frühstücksbüfett war allerdings klasse und die Bediensteten Ware auch klasse. Wenn mann im Vorfeld für klare Verhältnisse sorgt, ist das Hotel in Ordnung. Sabri Gün

Bien dans l'ensemble, emplacement top!

la situation de l'hôtel est parfaite, à deux pas de l'Istiklel, c'est très animé et sécurisé.
Le métro aussi est proche, accessible à pieds.
Il y a une partie rénovée et une autre ancienne. l'isolation sonore n'est pas top, trop de bruit, la propreté est aussi à revoir.
Le personnel est serviable.
En gros je recommande cet hôtel.

Хорошее расположение, близко к площади Таксим, откуда ходят автобусы в аэропорты.
Карточка от номера перестала работать, починить не смогли. Приходилось каждый раз ходить на ресепшн, чтобы открыли мастер-ключем.
