Easy to find, staff and check in was really easy, rooms basic but clean and comfortable. Some lovely restaurants only a few km away. We went to Thiers Temps which I would highly recommend.

Hotel Inn Design, great location, lovely staff, very nice evening meal and parking in front of chalet door. I always stay here when passing La Rochelle, if you need to go into La Rochelle centre or harbour it is also convenient but the traffic through the town is very heavy with several detours and roadworks.

Get what you pay for.
This is a budget hotel. It overlooks a main road, it's very noisy. You have to bear in mind the next hotel was charging more than twice. The hotel was pretty clean, the staff were friendly. But the air conditioning didn't work. The water was scalding hot. Their breakfast, although basic was good and good value. You will need to drive almost anywhere - although the parking is free at the hotel.

The two ladies who were organising everything themselves were very very helpful to us. They worked very hard and still had time to help us with a problem with a cancelled flight. They were cheerful and friendly and nothing was a problem for them. If only everyone could be like them.

For a Budget Hotel we were very happy. Lots of amenities in the room. Good sized bathroom. Reception Guy had a good sense of humour and was very helpful. Very hot day and A/C did not cope, small problem. Next time I am in La Rochelle I will stay again. Great value.

For the money I paid the room was very comfortable, especially the bed which had good quality bed linen and decent pillows. There is a certain amount of road noise, so if noise is a factor for you, as for a room that is the opposite side from the motorway. The hotel have actually done there best no minimise outside noise by the use of a double door into the room and double gazed windows. As a non smoker I do have one complaint, and that is interspersing smoking and non smoking rooms on the same level. It was a warm sunny evening when I arrived so I sat watching the sun go down with a glass of wine from my open doorway, the problem was that the rooms either side of my non smoking rooms were smoking rooms and I could smell the smoke and used cigarettes from the ashtrays mounted to the outside walls of these rooms. There is free wifi but it is rather slow, but hey, free is free...

This is basically a motel.
Can't really complain for the price, but this is basic accommodation. The rooms are all accessed from the outside of the building from a common walkway. If you're looking for a quick place to stop overnight, this place is fine. If you're vacationing, I would look elsewhere as there isn't much worth seeing within walking distance.

Une halte d’une nuit dans cet hôtel. Bruit très anormal de la vmc dans cette chambre 12 qui avait été déjà signalé mais pas pris en compte par la direction. Nous avons été reçu par un monsieur très désagréable et de très mauvaise fois , incapable de prendre e considération ce problème de ventilation. Aucun mot d’excuses.

Für die Situation, das zuerst gebuchte Hotel Henri IV nicht gefunden zu haben (Verkehrschaos), war dieses Hotel ein echter Glücksfall. Liegt zwar in Nähe der Rocade, aber im Zimmer nicht zu hören.
Ich kann dieses Hotel vorbehaltlos empfehlen. Alles hat gepasst, und ich würde wieder dort buchen. Die Busverbindungen in die Stadt sind gut, und dadurch erspart man sich die Parkplatzsuche in La Rochelle.

L’hôtel nous a plus , seulement il fait très très chaud la climatisation date de très longtemps du coup sa sorter pas beaucoup d’aire frais. La dame de ménage qui débarque le matin dans nôtre chambre alors que mon marie et moi était entrain de dormir ! Du plus je devez pas rendre la chambre nous avons réservé pour 3jours , Ce n’est pas du tout professionnel j’avais accroché le papier sur le poignet de la porte d’extérieur ! J’étais très très gêné étant habillé léger elle ma vue bref. Personnel à revoir!

Hotel viejo. El edredón manchado los tres días de estancia. El lavabo roto que daba miedo apoyarse por si se rompía, la taza del Wc degradado y manchada. El suelo no lo limpiaron ni un solo día. Faltaba una mesilla a un lado de la cama de matrimonio. Y la que había se desmontaba si se movia. No había enchufes a los lados de la cama ni en ningún sitio solo el de la tele y el del hervidor. Y lo peor es que se anuncian como habitaciones con climatizador y había un aparato de aire acondicionado superviejo que no funcionaba.
Además muy lejos del centro. Para nada es un tres estrellas. Caro para lo que es. Lo único recomendable la comodidad de la cama. No volvería.
