The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great value for the price. Nice, central location , but a little removed from the noisiness of the bustling downtown area, which was a plus. Cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. When I needed anything or had questions, that’s who I would ask because front desk staff (all three that were there during our stay) were not very helpful or friendly, bordering on downright rude.

Our stay was good. The hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood, which is great for people with kids. Yet there where lots of shops nearby and its not a far walk to the main town area.

The car park was horrendous, Curtain at the window was difficult to use as the rail was broken so had to use the shutter for privacy but even that was hard to use, the bed was comfortable and clean

Bon emplacement, chambre/appartement 3 personne grand. 3 étoiles parce qu'on a dû installer le petit lit bébé nous même, donc pas très arrangeant et aussi car on doit sortir ses poubelles soi-même. A ce prix-là, on pourrait s'attendre à un meilleur service que Airbnb.

We stayed for one night at this property. Great location with free parking close by. A good base for exploring La Rochelle. Would stay again but mattress not very comfortable and first hotel I have ever stayed in where they ask you to take your rubbish out yourself. It served a purpose and the bottles of water and sweets were a nice touch.

Well positioned for sights of La Rochelle

Had researched and knew there was free car park next door to hotel. Reception reasonably efficient without being friendly. NB - it only opens after 9am so beware if you have an early check out requirement. They give you a code to get in outside reception hours. There is a small indoor swimming pool but we didnt use. Only a 10 min walk to the harbour/chain bridge/Oceanarium. Room perfectly ok with kettle etc

Not a spa hotel at all just an old pool and facilities in need of repair. Liked kitchenette room.room was clean and tidy. Staff were helpful on arrival. Close to harbour,shops and restaurants. One night stay but wouldn't return for another stay.

We loved the apart-hotel the only thing was, by the time we had a shower we had no hot water. We had done washing up etc, it says there is one hot water tank for the room, it must be tiny and certainly not enough for 3/4 people. We couldn't even have one.

Best value we've found in La Rochelle.

Excellent value in an expensive town. The studio had everything we needed - a well-equipped little kitchen, good-sized bathroom with excellent shower, etc. Big comfortable bed. First-class breakfast. Even an indoor swimming pool, which we had all to ourselves. A 15-20 minute gentle level stroll into the old port - when you get to the end of the road you can walk along the waterside, so it's a pleasant journey. We found free parking in the street just opposite the door.

Ideal self-catering accommodation

Fantastic location, within walking distance to the quayside, where you can catch a small ferry to take you across the water to the restaurants and bars of the harbour. A quiet residential area, with a safe feel about it. The Résidence Lagrange Vacances L'Escale Marine offers a wonderful, typically French breakfast, with everything you would expect. The room was well equipped with a kitchenette with facilities to cook, as well as fridge, microwave and kettle. We would return without hesitation.

The Hotel is well located and within easy walking distance of the old port area, restaurants and shopping centre, Parking problematic unless you use the Hotel underground parking at a cost of 9 Euros per night. Whilst the apartment does have a small kitchen, it is minimal and poorly equipped. It is surprising that this recently built hotel does not have air conditiong. It was 30 degrees when we were there in mid September.

This property is great if you want to be spending most of your time out and about. It is very clean and the staff are helpful. The pool is a nice addition and very warm! Only issue we had was the comfort of the beds.

The we in the first rm was continuously filling so we changed rooms, only to find the shower tray blocked in the second room. The wi if was poor and they did not warn anyone that it’s switched off after 10pm so when you get back to your hotel no internet. The rooms were clean. The bed was comfortable, I like a hard mattress. We were very near to everything plus there is a well stocked supermarket round the corner. No noise at night. But during the day or anytime you opened your windows you could smell the smokers from the green areas below.

Very good accommodation not far at all from the city centre. Room was clean and tidy, bed comfortable. Everything one could need. Pool is small and partially covered but nevertheless refreshing. Only down side was that I overheard 2 girls complaining about the extra bed in the 3 person rooms. Apparently it was very uncomfortable.

Stay for the half term

Only drawback was the hotel staff not really happy or give us a smile. Especially a man was in the office not even making effort to come out to answer us query. Other than this, it is a great place to stay as easy to get to town and supermarket.

Looks better in the pictures than in real life!

The room was extremely hot and there was no air conditioning available in the room. The best they could do was give me a portable fan to use in the room. Given the area, being generally hot in summer, you would think that aircon would be standard. The Wifi was also extremely poor. Would constantly cut out and when it did work was so slow. Two of the lights in the room didn't work meaning that we only had our bedside lights!

Booked a studio apartment for 3 night break. Location is about 10 minute walk into main town which was an easy walk through the harbour.
Apartment itself is small but had most things that we needed - would benefit from a hairdryer and a toaster.
overall a nice apartment that was very good value for money.

Lovely apart hotel

Good value, lovely staff, great swimming pool. Negative point is the kitchen area.. Two small hobs so proper cooking not possible. Also there were no cleaning products at all so we had to buy sponges, washing up liquid etc. would also have been nice to have basic condiments like salt and pepper. Would recommend bearing in mind the above.

Close to town, only 10 minute walk to the old port area of La Rochelle. Hotel has a small swimming pool which can be covered or open, depending on the weather. Comfy beds and clean. Noise from flats opposite interrupted our sleep, which was no fault of the hotel.

Was a very very pleasant surprise from our previous hotel (Sejours Affairs - Minimes- which was a dump). Everything about this hotel was immaculate. Staff were professional and very very helpful. Room was maticulous as was bathroom. Pool was very clean but they had a cover over the sun lounging area which was annoying as we came from Ireland where it rains all the time. We would definately stay here again and would thoroughly recommend it.

Although our 2 person studio was very small, with very little room to manoevre when the sofa bed was extended, we were delighted with the cleanliness, good equipment, and general smartness of the appart/hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were especially pleased to have a good sized balcony. Good location, with small Carrfour nearby. The small pool was a bonus. May return next year !

Nice hotel for a couple or small family.

We were very satisfied with our hotel stay. The room was new, had cooking facilities, and a nice bathroom. The swimming pool was also nice and clean. The hotel is well-located in the port area, just a short walk from the action. It is also a short drive from île de Ré. A travel cot was provided for my son at no extra cost and was brought to the room immediately by a very friendly and helpful hotel employee. The reception staff was average.

En vacances avec un bébé de 6 mois pour 3 jours , lit en supplément 15e nous n’étions pas au courant lors de la réservation, nous payons malgré tout . Arrivée dans la chambre pas de lit nous avons dû aller le chercher nous même car celui ci était oublié . Pas de Clim dans la chambre cela aurait été un plus . Chambre mériterais une petite rénovation. Sol en lino arraché à certains endroits, finition pas top . Niveau ménage nous avons trouver un briquet sous le lit donc on imagine que le ménage n’a pas été fait à cette endroit . Pareil pour le dessus des meubles un peu poussiéreux. Piscine sympa pas trop de monde .

decepcionantes y insensibles

no puedo valorar la estancia, pero si el servicio de hoteles.com y expedia como deplorable ya que tuve que suspender el viaje por un asunto grave de un familiar (operacion de corazon urgente) y no se han puesto en contacto para ver si se podia renvosar el dinero tanto de este hotel como el de monte saint michel. No vuelvo a contratar nada coe ellos.

La piscine c'est le top, les enfants ont adoré.

bien pour l'accueil, mais mauvais pour le reste

Très bon accueil pour un séjour de 2 jours. Des bouteilles d'eau, des bonbons, des madeleines et le nécessaire pour faire café et thé étaient présents à notre arrivée.
Cependant, nous avons signalé le lendemain matin un défaut du volet qui était bloqué, on nous a assuré qu'il serait réparé dans la journée, mais finalement rien a été fait.
C'est aussi le premier hotel où je constate que la chambre n'est pas faite entre les 2 nuits. Résultat, nous avons manqué de papier toilette, car nous n'avions qu'1/2 rouleau pour 3 personnes pour 2 jours... Nous n'avons pas été prévenu à l'accueil que la chambre ne serait pas faite entre les 2 nuits.
Mon avis est donc mitigé sur l'établissement.

Très belle expérience chez Lagrange Apart'hôtel !

Une belle surprise !
L'espace est très agréable (d'ailleurs l'appartement est même sous-valorisé en parlant de studio, puisqu'il comporte une vraie chambre).
La salle de bain est quant à elle aussi grande que la chambre !
La TV est un peu petite mais cela n'a pas impacté mon séjour. Et surtout, le reste... nickel !
Avec des explications très claires dans l'appartement (fiche mémo, règlement intérieur, livret d'accueil,...) même en cas d'arrivée tardive.
Enfin, les quelques petites attentions pour le petit-déjeuner sont un plus.

Je n'hésiterai pas à revenir.

Séjour sympathique en famille dans cet appart hôtel. Appartement propre, petit déjeuner un peu cher pour ce qu’il y a (10€ par personne), piscine sympa mais propreté à revoir : beaucoup de cheveux dans la piscine. En tout cas elle est bien chauffée et c’est bien agréable. Le personnel est sympathique, aimable et agréable.
