We loved the location of the hotel and it the room was very clean and nice but it was small, especially the bathroom. It was adequate for 1 night but longer we would have felt very cramped. Otherwise it is a good hotel with a great location. The breakfast was good too.

Nice Property...useless internet service.

It was perfect in all ways but the internet was horrible! Dropped off countless times on both of my devices the entire time I was there. Had to keep signing in. I complained several times. If you plan to work out of this hotel with your laptop or other devices you may find this problem quite frustrating.

We were a group of 8 people,4 couples and everyone loved the position of the Hotel right beside the town and port.No tea and coffee in rooms but you could make them in reception free of charge.Nice touch as we all could have a chat and a cuppa at the same time.Will be back .

Hotel in the very centre of La Rochelle. Two exits - one to the old town, the other to the waterfront. Very convenient location. Staff very friendly. They don't speak English but they are trying their best to make your experience amazing. Breakfast is beyond lovely. I liked freshly squized orange juice which you can have unlimited while having breakfast. The cheeses and jams, bread and bacon are delicious. They have choice of very good teas and infusions which are available any time during your stay at reception and free of charge. Room is clean, airy, everything is in perfect order. Advantage is a hair dryer. I would stay there again and recommend to other people.

Hotel staff spoke some English, I also speak some French so communication was excellent. Rooms were clean, bed mattresses were moving a bit on the bed, but we were not fussed as they were comfortable anyway. View was nice from our room on 4th floor. Breakfast was very nice, some products ran out and had to wait for staff to topup bread, other food, but overall very nice breakfast. Amazing location!

Basic hotel in superb location. Friendly reception and quick check in. Very clean and tidy. The rooms are very clean and comfortable though not very big. Good air conditioning and the free wifi worked well.The bathroom is very cramped though the shower is quite spacious. Good breakfast for this standard of hotel though the breakfast area is a little cramped and gets very busy at times, but the staff work very hard to keep the food well replenished so there is always the full choice for everyone, and to keep the are clean and tidy. I think this hotel was good value in a nice location and would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Everything as expected and more. Receptionist who checked us in was very friendly even though her English wasn't great (better than my French of course). Rooms are spotless, a bit small if you're staying for more than a few nights. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Location is perfect, you are right on the harbour.

All about the location really. Heading down to south of France this was our first taste of the western side of the country. Beautiful little city and the hotel was positioned excellent but if you’re not a good driver then be careful, some on the streets were narrower than your driveway back home and the one way roads are a nightmare!! If you stay here, set your satnav to the Place du Verdon for parking and walk down 4 minutes away as there’s no parking at the hotel.

Easy access, friendly reception and cleaning staff who were attentive to my requests, best location ever between the shops and all the restaurants, the port is at your doorstep too. Room was small but comfortable and very clean. Bathroom was modern so more than enough for a short stsy when you only use the room to sleep.

Perfect for a stay in the middle town

Room small but clean and very comfortable bed. Parking major problem as most of La Rochelle has one way streets. Even once had found a parking place, the following day it took us over an hour to find the hotel again to pick up our bags. Watch out for reception staff who tried to charge us for room again even though we had pre paid via Expedia. We had to be very very forceful to get the lady to look up our booking before she agreed that the room had already been paid for. Would come again as very nice breakfast, close to all amenities. Would recommend

The hotel is central and ideal for a short stay in La Rochelle
However there is no parking and it's on a busy road so tricky to stop and unload luggage
Having said that Joan d'Arques car park is a short walk away and costs approx €10 for 24 hours.
The cafe next door under the arch sells lovely coffee in the morning and let us buy croissants from a boulangerie and eat them with our coffee sitting at the cafe.

Not very impressed. We booked the hotel on the off chance late only to find out there was a music festival on in the are. Unluckly I had a room facing the street, not an issue apart from the ska band outside till 12:30, Then a load of drummers performing so loud that it was shaking the door to my room. I asked if I could be moved to another room because of the noise but I was told it was a national holiday and a special day and I could not complain. They would not move me as they said all the rooms were the same with the same noise. A real shame as it totally put me off dealing with this hotel chain again. Would not recommend if you require any kind of useful service from the hotel staff.

The hotel is quite basic but very clean, bed comfortable and room had everything we needed for an overnight stay. We did not have the breakfast so I can not comment on that, we had coffee and pastries at the patisserie around the corner which was much cheaper and excellent. I would not like to have an extended stay at this hotel but for what we required it was more than adequate. I must comment on the staff who were most helpful especially with our non existent French. We were able to get breakfast tea in the bar which consisted of a large cup of hot water, tea bag and jug of milk, 2 euros each, wonderful. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay and the location could not have been better, right in the port next to all the bars, restaurants and shops.

Great hotel base to explore La Rochelle

Brilliant location - very close to the old port - literally a 30 second walk to the centre of things. The entrance to the hotel is uninspiring and when you arrive may make you think you have made a wrong choice. However, if you want a functional room at a very reasonable price in the centre this is the one for you. Staff presence is minimalistic - the receptionaist is the only person we saw and they also seemed to run the bar - not that anyone used it. We had four nights here and found it to be perfect for our requirements as a couple who wanted to make the most of the amazing location and come back to somewhere clean and tidy.

Faites bien attention à l'adresse de celui que vous choisirez, en attendant que le service marketing du groupe fasse quelque chose ! Sehr gute Lage. Die Zimmer sind Durchschnitt aber OK. Die Rezeption ist nahe der Kinderecke, was immer ein bisschen laut, müllig und wie in einem Hostel wirkt.
Das Frühstück ist für nicht-Franzosen einfach ein Witz. Kaum Auswahl (2 Käse, 2 Wurst, 2 Marmelade) und kein Rührei oder Brötchen oder so. Der Frühstücksraum ist schrecklich. Viel zu klein, viel zu eng, viel zu laut. Es bietet Platz für 20 Personen, wo im Hotel über 100 Zimmer sind. Wir saßen in der Kinderecke oder draußen oder sonst wo. Das ist nicht akzeptabel.

Bon sejour, fenêtres sur la rue ce qui n'amène le calme qu'à 3 h du matin , confort normal, manque peut-être un oreiller en supplément. Petit déjeuner assez copieux mais les places sont limitées, bien choisir son heure.le seul bémol constaté il n'y a même pas un parking pour personnes handicapées au sein de l'hôtel. La seule possibilité est de trouver une place libre en ville et ce n'est vraiment pas évidant.

Positif : Hotel très bien situe sur le voeux port et calme, personnel très accueillant et petit déjeuner frais et bon.
Negatif : pas de parking sur place (même si apparemment accord payant avec un parking public a plus de 200 m.. les places dans la rue sont a 2eur/heure quand on en trouve une.Chambre très petite, la salle de bain même si aussi très petite pourrait être mieux organiser en rangement, par exemple un meuble sous lavabo..

Un séjour d'une nuitée dans la jolie ville de la Rochelle, l'hôtel est situé en plein centre ville, l'accueil est très professionnel, disponible et toujours avec le sourire la chambre est simple mais propre. Le lit est très confortable.
Le petit déjeuner copieux et très varié, moi qui aime plutôt le salé, j’étais gâtée, mais le sucré était très garni aussi et diversifié.
Je recommande sans hésiter.

Unfreundlicher Empfang. Zimmer wurde nicht gemacht. Beim Wifi wurde immer die Ibis Styles Seite zum Anmelden bei Ibis Hotel gesendet. Das nervte. Teppich im Zimmer war sehr schmutzig. In der Dusche mit dem WC hatten man kaum Platz.

Hôtel très confortable, très bien situé, juste à côté de la Tour de l'Horloge. Belle chambre avec déco sympa : literie en bon état et salle de bain attenante. Petit déjeuner copieux. Seul petit bémol : un peu bruyant car côté rue.
Attention également au personnel, au demeurant fort sympathique, qui ne demande pas systématiquement le pass sanitaire à l'entrée de la salle à manger. Je recommande néanmoins cet établissement.

Le partenariat avec le parking souterrain est très pratique.

Hôtel très bien centré, mais un bémol pour les parkings trop éloignés pour une personne à mobilité réduite. Bon séjour ensoleillé.

Accueil chaleureux et professionnel, l’hôte d’accueil a largement contribué à nous faciliter le séjour tant dans le choix des restaurants que pour nous renseigner sur la meilleure option de parking. Merci à lui.

Jeune homme à l’accueil ne sert à rien et insolent

Encore une fois déçu , surtout pour une histoire de parking vous avez mis qu’il y avait un parking et c’est faux y’en a pas à l’hôtel.Ensuite le jeune homme brun à lunettes n’a donné aucune instruction pour garer le véhicule en gros vous allez sur un parking public ! il était juste presque insolent dans ses autres réponses à mes questions en gros il s’en foutait du client j’ai jamais vu ça ! Le lendemain au petit dej il n’a jamais levé sa tête pour nous expliquer bref heureusement que je vais pas souvent à ibis comme la dernière fois vous n’avez rien fait suite à un souci ce sera sûrement la même chose cette fois ci je ne vais sûrement plus réserver avec vous dans ces ces conditions.
Je suis vraiment déçu je vais le signaler sur les sites intéressés.

Super sejour

Super experience avec un hotel en centre ville. Nous avons pu profiter sans voiture de flaner dans la ville et de profiter des bons moments, apperitifs et repas en terrasse ! A refaire !
