Checkin was a breeze. Parking was easy. We had a very spacious king room. The bed was very comfortable. Carpet was newish. Bathroom shower a little worse for wear but spacious. Elevator was very slow. We would stay here again.

My original booking was not “available” but we ended up getting a handicap accessible room in its place. When we first arrived in the evening, the parking lot was pitch black. I could not see my luggage in my trunk. I did not feel safe as a woman, with my daughter because you could not see a thing. I’ve never been to a hotel where there were absolutely no lights on to greet customers in the evening. I mentioned to the gentleman at the front desk and he said they don’t turn them on in the summer?!?! First of all, it’s not summer, it’s February. And secondly, you should have them on every evening, no matter what the season is. This is for the safety of all your customers. He did put them on (only b/c I mentioned) and what a difference! I would choose another property most likely in the future.

The staff was very friendly but the beds are too firm. If you are a light sleeper ask for a room at the back of the hotel not facing the street. Rooms are not very sound proof.

First of all I realize that check in was not until 3pm. However, I arrive at 1:45 in hopes a room was ready. I was informed no room was ready and could not check in till 3. So my wife decided to sit in the lobby and wait. I saw 3 people able to check in early. So I went and inquired and was told that because I booked thru Expedia I could not check in until 3. And the people I saw get rooms book directly from Holiday inn. Do Expedia know there are hotels with this policy?

Second, the hotel lost power this early this morning and because of my 8am appointment I was unable to shower. No type of compensation at all.

I will never stay at another holiday inn.

Unfortunately my experience at this hotel was disappointing. Upon arrival, the keys did not work, I had to go to the front desk three times before it was resolved. There was no hot water, and the following day the water was completely shut off until 6:00 p.m.
The staff said all rooms had been notified, but my room was not informed that there would be no water. The only call I received was to say what time the water would return, not to warn about the outage.
Additionally, the staff member who checked me in said he had no information about the water issue, as he had been off for several days and had just returned to work.

Tuesday – Arrival. After getting ready to shower and lie down for the night, we noticed the shower head was not working; we had only cold water from the faucet, no hot water. The manager stated that they are working to resolve the issue and that it should be resolved within the hour.
Wednesday, the next day, upon waking to a shower or hot water still not working, I requested a room change, as all three rooms on three different levels were experiencing the same issue: no water from the shower head, barely any cold water from the faucet, and still no hot water. We were told someone would be there at 1000 to fix the issue. We arrive back at the hotel later in the evening to find the problem has not been resolved.
Thursday. If I leave, they will reimburse me for the room; however, it may take a few days to receive the money. We did not have enough funds to stay in another hotel, wait for reimbursement, and continue our vacation, so we opted to stay at a hotel without a working shower or hot water, knowing we would be reimbursed at the end of our stay.
Friday – Saturday, no working shower, barely working faucet with only cold water.
Sunday – Departed, I was told I would be reimbursed 50% by the managers later in the day, when they arrive. This was said to me by the desk clerk on Saturday night and again on Sunday morning, when we departed. The receipt they gave does not show a 50% reimbursement.
This has been the worst IHG stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

The short, front desk man was not the very personable. Idk, he may have just been having a bad day. We did not have hot water for 2 out of the 3 days that we stayed there. Upon checkout, we were told that we would receive some money back or a discount for the inconvenience. Still waiting on that. The free breakfast and the cleanliness of the rooms were definitely appreciated. However, we will not being staying here again.

When I called down, the receptionist placed me on hold and did not return after leaving me on hold. The room felt neglected in many ways. There were not enough towels for the guests staying. The phone in the room was not working. Due to that issue, had to physically go to front desk and ask for more towels. When replacing towels, they were thrown on the bathroom sink; not folded just stacked. The garbage was not removed daily. On the last night, there was no body wash. It was not refilled as part of the morning routine.

Check in was very easy and the young gentleman was a very nice, I checked in right before 11 PM. Newly renovated rooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good and they had real bacon :-). It did sound like something was running in the unit above me a lot of the time. The safe lock was not working. I like the Christmas decorations.

We booked a suite with a sofa bed and 2 queen beds. We got a room with a cot and 2 double beds. When we raised the issue with the hotel we got attitude. We are not getting what we paid for. Also the cot was breaking and we couldn’t use it. When asked for replacements, we were told that it would be impossible

However a replacement was found but no sheeting and the mattress was stained. This is the first time I have used Expedia and what I got from you guys suck. I want my money refunded.

Hotel was under renovation. Room was clean with new carpet. Room safe did not work because it needed batteries. There was a small temporary TV in the room that had not been mounted on the wall yet. Elevator was out of order and I had to carry a large suitcase down the stairs for three floors. Front desk staff was great.

Breakfast was great with lots of options. The host at breakfast goes out of her way to make sure you get everything you need. Love the staff.
Parking is very easy and feels very safe. No one is just hanging out at the parking lot.
During my stay there was construction right outside my window but they were very considerate and ended early and room was quiet and peaceful for a good night sleep. Looking forward to see the updating on the property

We were only staying one night and the hotel was fully booked/very busy, so we didn’t bother to have maintenance come fix it. The room felt old and had a funny smell to it like old cleaning water to mop the floor. The bathroom corners on the floor were damaged and dirty. It didn't appear to be from poor cleaning, rather from poor maintenance. But the employees working there were wonderful and very accommodating. The hotel just needs a good refresh and the bathrooms updated. I like the location and the employees but won't be staying there again as for the same price, other hotels are nicer in the area.
