Disgusting. Luckily didn’t have to be in there long. Not to mention one day arriving to my room after working all day and find my room door wide open with a chair holding the door open. And no one knew anything. Luckily nothing was missing from my luggage. Either way place needs improvement. Floors in my room were disgusting, bed was barely held together and missing screws, felt like it was going to collapse just sitting down on it.

This hotel was a great fit for what I would have needed during my stay if it had been closer to the conference I was attending. It has a small, charming feel to it, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating from start to finish. There were plenty of shops and things to do nearby, which made it very convenient.

The room itself was on the smaller side, and you could hear some traffic noise, so just something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper. That said, the pricing was very reasonable, and it offered great value overall.

I needed to be closer to my event, so I ended up moving but I would definitely consider staying again for a short, convenient trip.

This property should not be listed at all. The most disgusting place I’ve ever seen. We left 10 minutes after checking in. Unfortunately we tried to obtain a refund vía hotels.com customer service and the property manager denied our claim. For $121 this is unacceptable. You guys should both be ashamed for promoting this property which does not even warrant to be even called a motel. Disappointed and disgusted

This was one of the dirtiest hotels we have ever stayed at. The floor was covered in some nasty substance that made it super slippery. The sheets were dirty. We had no choice but to sleep so we stayed fully dressed with socks on. We wouldn’t even think of using the shower. The fridge was brand new but was lukewarm at best. This hotel was a massive disappointment. If we come to this area again, we will stay next door at the Holiday Inn Express.

Hi, I had that booking with you and that had to change my room twice cause the first one was infested with cockroaches and the second one was also full of cockroaches and smelled like someone has been smoking cigarettes in the ro for weeks. They ended up changing my room for one on the 3 floor which they said was one of the nicest one and ended spending 3 days living and sleeping with dozens of of cockroaches again.

I ended up checking out early on Wednesday instead of Friday cause I couldn’t stand it

The reception clerk said she would message the manager to try and get mea refund for the last 2 days.

I haven’t heard back

When we checked in at 4 pm the receptionist gave is our key but did not tell us the room was not ready. We had to wait for the cleaning to be completed. Although the light came on in the refrigerator it did not work, our food was warm in the morning. We were asked for a credit card for $100 incidental hold but this charge was processed through my account. When I tried to reach the hotel there is no answer at the front desk.

One step above sleeping in your car. My wife turned down the bed to find a live bug in it. When she pulled the sheet back, the mattress was stained and had cigarette burns in it. Supposedly a non-smoking room. We requested a different room which was only marginally better than the first one. Staff was pleasant, but nonchalant about the issues.

First, the property does not look like the pictures. Dilapidated transient The smell of strong mold hit us as soon and we opened the door. There was evidence everywhere that moisture had permeated furniture, all metal surfaces, walls, etc. The property and room felt entirely unsafe and we ended up finding a different hotel and did not even stay in our room at this property longer than 20 minutes.

I was mover to five rooms, the first has no curtain and no a/c.
The second has a smoke detector that needed a battery and the TV was smashed.

The third was infested with roaches.

The fourth was great. But when is came back that late afternoon, someone else was given the room.

Them the fifth room, had no hot water, and the bathroom sink would not drain.

This was the worst place to stay in my life.

I would have been better off staying with the bums in the parking lot in the gas station next door.

The check-in person is behind THICK bullet proof lexan, which should tell you something.

I stayed 4 weeks paid with 2 different apps the place is nasty full of roaches my room was full of mold I called the state and contacted red roof but didn't get any kind of compensation I had to clean the stinky mold out of the shower the sheets had pubic hair floors was so nasty the water was muddy they wouldn't give toilet paper I had to wash my own towels no service every 2 weeks no service provided at all the website says coffee in lobby nope no coffee says racks for dishes nope only a nasty cabinet says on the website NO ANIMALS almost all tenants have animals but they want 500 a week I have a 700,00 dollar home I had to stay in that trash hotel to get my home remodeled not everyone is from the ghetto and not all tenants enjoy smelly rooms mold roaches and the drug dealers out side the doors all night I have hired a lawyer and I have pictures and video recording of workers telling me wash my own towels no toilet paper and much more mess I have pictures and documentation of every thing I encountered at that trash hotel and with the staff

Room was smaller than expected for a queen bed. The property photos show a coffee bar in a lobby area, but there is no such thing on site, nor are there in-room coffee makers or disposable cups.
On the plus side, there was a 3/4 size refrigerator, microwave, and cooktop in the room.

This hotel looked a little sketchy from the photos online, but since we needed a reasonably priced play to stay we didn't have much of a choice. We booked, and it was worse than the pics. We killed no less than 6 roaches and 2 spiders in our room, and on the final morning, let 2 roaches just pass through cause we were so over it at that point. The a/c leaked terribly inside of the room, and left a giant puddle right by the door. When we checked in, she didn't say anything about a parking permit neither needing to be displayed, nor giving us one at all. But on night two, we received a parking violation advising that our car could be towed if we didn't display the permit we were not given, nor told about. Now for the most insulting issue of all. At check-in they required a $100 deposit, that would be returned within 3 business days after checkout should no damages have occurred. It has been 10 days since we checked out, and I have not received this deposit back. It's taken 3 phone calls, but the deposit refund is finally pending on my account. I have stayed in some crappy hotels, but this one was by far the worst. In a surprising twist, every staff person we spoke with was incredibly friendly, so there's that.

This place was the worst!!! A ridiculous amount of roaches in our room and all over the property. The A/C was broken, the room and everywhere on the property smelled horrible, the room wasn't clean, the office wasn't clean, the grounds weren't clean. It was after midnight when we arrived and there was no toilet paper so I had to go to a store close by to buy some. This area was so sketchy I was afraid to go anywhere outside without my pistol and I kept my hand at the ready on my pistol without revealing it was there when I walked to the convenience store. The pictures of the motel were a BIG LIE about the motel. It even appeared (after looking more closely) that the cars in the pictures had been photoshopped into the pictures. The front desk/lobby picture was not of this Home Towne Suites. My family checked out as early as possible and got a refund on the rest of the week we had booked. I would have felt better at the \"Bates Motel\"! In short about this Home Towne Suites...STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

My experience was very bad. I made my reservation in advance to make sure I had a room, but when I arrived at the hotel, tired from a long trip, they told me they didn't have a reservation and that there was no room at the hotel. It was late at night, and I had to look for another hotel. The closest one that had space was half an hour away.
So I have no choice but to drive late at night and tired to another hotel.

Terrible expensive!! Booked for stay coming & going. On 1st stay, found door wouldn't lock next AM so had slept all night in unlocked room. Got reimbursed for switched to smaller room. So, ok there. But, on way back, we were cancelled out while heading there due to supposed water main leak to our room. Manager on duty found us a more expensive hotel, but promised us to reimburse us the difference. It never happened. We kept giving him time & he kept making promises he didn't keep. Higher up company staff didn't help either. We'll never stay there again & won't recommend it to anyone else. Beware!!

I checked in and out immediately. I checked in around 8pm, when to my room, there was people smoking marihuana, laud music. then I got into my room, when to the bathroom, there where pee and poop inside the toilet, shower was full of hair and took floss, rashes crawling all over, the kitchen walls full of crease. I had to run away from that place. it's not a place for a mother and daughter to spend the night. dangerous and dirty place.

Check in was easy. Parking was great, had a spot right in front of our room. No problem with our key card, went right in. Room was decent. No odor. Refrigerator had food stains on outside of door. Microwave was dirty inside. Bathroom was ok. Had mold along the shower. But hey it was only for 1 night. There were guests sitting outside and walking all around at all hours. But we mind our business so we'll. Check out was weird. Asked about getting my 100 deposit back. We were informed that housekeeping had to check our room first and she told us she didn't know when that would be. Wow. The way the room looks, I find it hard to believe that they even have regular housekeepers. But you get what you paid for. I give it 4 out of 10 stars

Upon booking my stay at the hometown studios Orlando UCF, I booked on Expedia from November 22nd through the 29th, which totaled $377.86 plus a 100.00 deposit. When I went to the front desk on November 22nd, a lady named Liza \"Lisa\" was very incompetent, rude, and seemed unaware she was checking me in. Liza showed me a room that was not clean yet, which was room (126), a disability room. Liza told me to wait for an hour while the room was cleaned. And she would go ahead and check me into room (126). When Lisa gave me my room key, it had the wrong room (124) on the key, so I went back to make Lisa aware that she had put the wrong room number on the key; she said, \"Oh, I'm sorry,\" and changed the room number back to the room (126) and did something in the computer and told me I was good to go. Upon entering room (126), I saw a dead Roach on the wall. I started putting my food in the refrigerator, and roaches began coming out of the fridge from behind the refrigerator. I called Lisa to make her aware, and she said, \"Well, I'll put you on the list for the exterminator on Wednesday, which would be the 27th of November.\" the same night, when I was sleeping, and someone tried to enter my room I had the door lock which is a safety lock. It was a man I was screaming, and he said, \"Oh, I thought the room was vacant.\" I cried and screamed because I thought I was being robbed/ He said, \"I'm the security guard. Check-in process was slow considering I was the only one in the lobby. I sat there 30 minutes before the front desk staff called me up to do the paperwork.

The bed moves when you sit on it so it’s obviously not a quality item.

The bathroom had 1 bar of soap and towels, so very limited hygiene supplies.

For the price I paid I didn’t expect much. It’s fine though, I just needed the room, wasn’t needing much. But I definitely wouldn’t spend days here.

No AC. The A/C unit ran, but blew no air. The room has horrendously hot. No soap, no shampoo or toilet paper in the room for the entire stay. I had to go out in a heavy rainstorm at 11:30PM to purchase toiletries. I called the front desk and they advised a technician would fix the unit, nobody showed up. If they did, there was still no cold air in the room. Roaches crawled all over my luggage and throughout the whole room. I only stayed because everything was sold out in the area due to UCF Family Weekend. This so called hotel should be inspected and shutdown immediately…I want my money back, but doubt they will pay..

When we arrived, we found two used bath towels hanging on the back of the bathroom door, the AC wouldn’t go on and off automatically and wasn’t working very well, the turnstile plate in the microwave was missing, there was no shampoo or conditioner, there was a bug crawling and hiding in the rubber cushioning of the refrigerator door, the refrigerator appeared to be missing shelves and one bath towel that was folded on the shelf, turned out to have many black spots all over it, and the TV remote was not working and needed to be replaced. Since we checked in around 10 PM, the only employee at the front desk, tried her best to accommodate us. Unfortunately, she was unable to fix or adjust the AC and since the hotel was fully booked, she was unable to change our room. She did give us a new TV remote that worked, one small shampoo/conditioner (only one she could find), and two clean bath towels. She did here best at the end of her day. I wish I knew her name.

Few bugs but nothing out of this world. Its not the Ritz Carlton so just have to take care of it. For most part it has been safe place to stay. Neighbors were awesome as well.

I found roaches in the room crawling on the curtains and bed. Was told there was no other room. Had to check out same day. Then spent 5 days on the phone for hours trying to get my refund back.

Expedia needs to do a better job inspecting the sites. This is not a facility for travelers to stay. The majority of the rooms are being used for short term rentals. The room provided was moldy in the bathroom. Not the best conditions to stay for a college move in.

check in was too slow.The room was dirty. No shampoo/conditioner. The sink was liking, we let the receptionist know about the issue for someone to fix it.thank God it was booked only forone night. No recommended.
