Fantastic hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive and genuinely welcoming - nothing was ever too much trouble.

The location was perfect: right in the heart of Palma, with everything close by, yet tucked away from the main streets, making it a real haven of tranquillity.

The small rooftop plunge pool was a lovely retreat and ideal for spending a hot afternoon. The rooms were beautiful and well equipped - the inclusion of GHD straighteners was a real treat and a first for me!

Overall, a perfect hotel in the heart of Palma with exceptional staff. Highly recommended.

Absolutely everything from beginning to end. What wonderful staff especially Alicia all welcomed us to their beautiful hotel. We weee very kindly upgraded to the most beautiful suite for my husbands birthday. This was such a treat especially as we spent quite a bit of time in it. Wanting to relax and chill. This was easy to do as the hotel is so quiet. We only are out but the breakfast and breakfast room looked very inviting again with amazing staff.

We spent 2 nights and loved that the quiet street was just a 5 min walk to the bustling Old Town. Very walkable to sights, restaurants, cafe's, shops. We even walked 25 min to the beach one day and rented chaises and had lunch. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Room was lovely.

A fantastic boutique hotel located in a quiet street 2 minutes from the shops and restaurants. Spotlessly clean with great amenities this hotel has been painstakingly restored to an exceptional modern standard whilst keeping its authentic charm. The private spa is superb and a great place to relax after a busy day sightseeing. Lastly, the staff are truly amazing. Nice room, good size. Floor outside shower lifted slightly so uneven and leaked slightly!
Lovely breakfast in courtyard area with good choice.
Small rooftop seating with plunge - ( booking system in place).

My friend and I stayed for 3 days, we loved the hotel. Very nice restoration of an older building with a sweet and small plunge pool. There was a sauna and spa downstairs. Nice toiletries too.
The staff were lovely and accommodating, the (english) lady was especially helpful with recommendations and arranging taxis etc.
Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay as a couple traveling with no kids. We were blown away by the service. Rooms are nice but on the smaller side (normal for Europe). The location was great and easily walkable to the center of Palma.

The location of the hotel is great for exploring the Old Town, along with great restaurants nearby and some beautiful boutiques. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and the breakfast is amazing. Very quiet at the weekends, a little bit more noisy during the week as located near to a school, but this is mainly during the morning arrival time.

An on-site bar and restaurant (other than breakfast only) would make things better. The walls are also a little thin so take it easy at night!

Hidden Gem - Def Stay!

This is a gem of a place - five stars and lives up to the name! Very clean, luxe, and the staff is extremely generous with their time and helpful with anything you may need.

Summum is a boutique hotel with only 18 rooms so you really feel like you’re the only person in the hotel. The pool on the rooftop is more like a Jacuzzi and has to be reserved in advance. This ensures you have the entire rooftop to yourself. If you’re looking for a calm & peaceful place to stay then this is it!

My best friend and I loved our stay here - so much so, we stayed an extra night. 10/10 would stay here again.

Big thanks to Tim, Manuel, Emma, Flora, Maria, Cindy, Pedro, and the rest of the staff for making our trip in Mallorca remarkable.

Staff were absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked through the doors we felt looked after, such a beautiful hotel and in a great location. I can't recommend this place enough. We were given places to visit and eat, they also have us beautiful bottle of cava and strawberries in our room because it was our honeymoon. If we are ever back in Palma we will definitely be staying there again 😁

Breakfast is remarkable - best freshly pressed orange juice in the world.
Feels like you are welcomed into your dearest fabulously opeulent aunt and uncles home for the weekend. Something about this hotel feels fabulously familiar, yet cool and romantic.
An artist in all mediums available would be challenged to express the magic.

Superb location close to shops,restaurants & attractions such as the Cathedral de Mallorca. The staff is most accommodating. Use of a GPS phone for navigating the many streets was a wonderful addition. The hotel itself is quiet & comfortable. Also, you are staying in an actual palace!

Great location, quiet lovely staff. The room I was in was 308 and there was absolutely nowhere to put things including clothes. Also it was awkward with the toilet and then having to walk round to the sink area. The shower was huge but I would of preferred more space round the sink area. Our friends stayed in room 303 which was a much better design.

Beautiful hotel, absolutely wonderful staff

From the minute we checked in nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Their attention to detail, hospitality and friendliness was second to none.
The hotel is stunning and has gone from a derelict building to a beautiful contemporary boutique style finish. The pictures around the hotel shows artistically the look before being transformed. The rooms are well equipped with everything from a sun hat, fan, Neopresso coffee, mobile phone device you can take out with you, make calls all on the hotels wifi.
The bed is so comfortable, providing an excellent nights sleep, the staff call in at least 3 times a day to turn down your bed, make your bed and clean your room.
The facilities include a spa with a large jacuzzi and sauna with an area for treatments. The bar and terrace is used for breakfast in the morning which is excellent and has a wide choice of Mallorcan and continental style food with eggs made to your liking. Jessica who was there for the majority of our stay remembered your coffee order and how you liked your eggs. She was absolutely fabulous and looked after us really well, she was so friendly and lovely.
The hotel has a small roof terrace with a small shallow cool pool. There are 4 very comfortable sun beds with fresh towels laid out for you.
We had a fabulous stay at this hotel and we will return to relax for a few days or a short city break.

Checking in with a complimentary glass of Cava was excellent. Everything was wonderful except we could hear noise from the street below which didn’t annoy us but might be worth noting.... out room was on first floor so this may not be the case on higher bedrooms.

Had a great stay at a beautiful hidden gem of a hotel. The location was perfect for a short stay in the heart of Palma, close to all bars, shops and restaurants. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and the service was second to none. We had a 4 day stay booked, with breakfast. The comfortable room was tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was well worth including - offering a range of local meats, cheeses, pastries and breads, as well as eggs cooked to order - more than enough to satisfy any personal tastes. We will definitely be coming back here to stay again.

Lovely quiet hotel in Palma

The hotel was lovely for our stay in Palma. It's been beautifully restored and was lovely and clean. The rooftop space and plunge pool were a real bonus and the staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. We had breakfast once in the hotel which was delicious, but because we hadn't paid for breakfast when we originally booked we decided to have breakfast in local places instead as we'd have had to pay an additional €40 per day. We had the smallest sized room but it was still comfortable, spacious and had some nice touches. My only criticism of this is that the door to the toilet has a gap at the top (as if in a public toilet) so it doesn't afford much privacy if you're sharing a room with your partner when using the loo (!). The hotel was very quiet and we enjoyed having the bar to ourselves some evenings. The location was not far from the shops and hustle and bustle of Jaume III (2 mins) and all the restaurants and plazas were only a 10-15 minute walk away maximum.

A wonderful birthday stay!

Nice boutique hotel tucked away in a quiet part of the old town within easy walking distance of the main attractions and restaurants. The interior is really nice and the room was great - good size with plenty of space and one of the biggest beds I have ever slept in. They give you a free smartphone to use in case your network provider doesn't have free EU roaming.
There are a few nice cafes nearby and also a small supermarket for bits and pieces - this Eroski supermarket has the most rude and unfriendly staff, it's actually really funny!
Breakfast was great with plenty of options and the option of cooked eggs etc. We didn't eat at the restaurant but I heard it was very good. We did have room service which was great.
A note on the outdoor terrace/pool - its on the roof and you have to go up a few stairs, and it is really small and overlooked by the other buildings around the hotel.
The staff were all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about local attractions and were happy to make reservations for restaurants. You can hire cars & bicycles through the hotel but this was pricey - better to look for local cheaper options. No need for a car in central Palma but if you want to get out and about it might be worth it.
Transfer from the airport to the hotel by regular taxi was around 25 euros one way.
It was my birthday during my stay and they did leave a few goodies in our room and also gave me a birthday cake at breakfast which was very thoughtful.
Will definitely return!

If you are travelling to Palma this is the only hotel to stay in. The building, furnishings and decor is sublime. As for the staff...... amazing, attentive and welcoming are just a few of the words I could use. The attention to detail is second to none. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lives up to its 5*

The hotel is conveniently located slap bang in the centre of the old town meaning everything you need is pretty much in walking distance. When we rocked upto the hotel, we were bowled over by the grand entrance, offered a drink whilst the staff sorted check in. We weren’t shown or told where the hotel facilities were such as breakfast, the spa or the roof top plunge pool, but it wasn’t a big deal as we explored it oursleves. Our room was comfy, a good size with a really comfy king bed but due to its location, the view out was non-existent. The bathroom isn’t very private either and the sink was located in the actual bedroom as opposed to where the toilet was (a little weird). The room amenity is amazing. They offer beach towels, a sun hat, beach bags, ghd hairdryer and straightener to name but a few. You are able to book the amazing spa with pool, sauna, massage table and shower for private use for an hour at no extra cost. There’s a good continental selection at breakfast including hot food from the breakfast menu. The front desk was also brill with no request too onerous. My one gripe was when we (and a couple of other guests) were locked out from the hotel at about 1.30am for about 5-10 mins. In the end I had to ring reception to attract the attention of the staff member. Despite this, I would sum up the hotel as lovely with great staff and amenities, and well deserving of its 5*.
