This hotel was renovated fairly recently surprisingly the bedroom was falling apart.
We had to hold the tap in the bathroom down before we could use it because it wasn’t fixed to the sink.
Pillows flattened into nothing and the air conditioning control was right behind my head so kept flashing on with a bright light every time I turned over. Added to that, the wall are paper thin, so you heard everything going on around you. Would not recommend.

Pro - Spacious rooms!
Cons - We were initially given a room that wasn't to the standard that we expected. Small, no sofa, and had a bath with mold around the edges, and animal paintings that were rather unsettling. Not great!
However, this was quickly rectified upon speaking to reception.

Our stay at the Level at the Melia was fantastic, I have already recommended it to people I know. The staff were so attentive and helpful, the room was lovely, comfortable and clean, and we loved the perk of the executive lounge which comes with the Level. Everything about our stay was amazing, we’ll definitely be back.

The staff were brilliant, I didn't use any of the facilities or bar etc. Unfortunately the room wasn't as expected teh floor was quite dirty the surrounding of the LEDs on the ceiling were falling off and as u open the door the vent above u was falling off. the room also was boiling hot and wouldn't cool down.

The room received was not what I had booked, much smaller and lacking furniture.
The checkin was something by it self, Grace was somehow useless, but things improved when the manager stepped in.
Some few glitches here and there, like long waiting lines both in the Level lounge and the main restaurant for Breakfast, Room service menu didnt work when using QR code, no alternative printed menus when asked for it. Will I stay there again, probably not.

There was a small issue with the shower flooding the floor of the bathroom because the shower was did not go back far enough to bloc the water. The towel on the floor was not enough to stop the water. Other than that, the staff was amazing and VERY helpful. The restaurant was clean and there was plenty of food even though the place was packed. The bartenders were very courteous, shout out to Eddie with the amazing drinks. I would book here again.

I was really disappointed with my stay. The mattress was extremely hard without topper or mattress protector and uncomfortable, even after moving rooms, and the feather pillows had no support at all. Basic amenities such as robes, slippers, and even a toilet brush were not provided . When I raised these issues, instead of resolving them, the hotel offered me an upgrade to a junior suite for £100 extra per day — which felt unreasonable given the circumstances. Staff made me feel awkward for complaining and offered no discount or goodwill gesture.On the positive side, the decor , food, cocktails, and bar staff were excellent, which was the only highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, if you value a comfortable night’s sleep, this hotel may not be for you.

The general staff on this property was friendly and always very helpful. However, the upper management lacked hospitality, more than once and with different people, when asking questions in person and/or over the phone I was met with impatience. They don't double check the info and just gave me a blanket response until I had to be firm to ask them to recheck before they then realize they didn't know what they were talking about in regards to my situation.

Rooms are clean and comfortable and quite spacious. My issue was with the noise from outside and that I had one of those interconnecting rooms which I actually said I don’t want at check in. I have stayed here many times and hence the request otherwise you can hear everything from the room next door, they need to sort this out as it can be very unpleasant. There was a lack of amenities in the room, no vanity kit or face clothes which is actually a big inconvenience! The hotel is nice it’s just the little things that need sorting out. Please add casting to the TVs as I know in the level rooms it has this, but this should be a standard feature in every room now.

Clean room, comfortable bed but lack of ambition the room and noisy outside as my room was first floor above the entrance. The property is old and doesn’t have good soundproofing, I could literally hear the guests next door as I’m sure they could me. Shower raider was broken, no vanity kit in room. Also no cast option on TV which is ridiculous in 2025, who wants to each terrestrial TV!

Room was super clean but wasn’t as big as we thought it would shower was slightly uncomfortable because you could see who over is in shower. Breakfast was nice until I got hair from mushroom section. Staff was very slow at the reception and didn’t gave even a discount in regards the hair in food even I showed a manger . Breakfast had many options, but I lost my appetite since that incident

Good location next to Regent’s Park. Very close to 2 underground stops. Stayed at the level which included breakfast and a tapas hour and free drinks. The major downside was that they charged an addition service fee that was not communicated to me as the price I paid via Expedia (which was already very expensive) said all fees were included. Also not very eco friendly as no options to reuse towels. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

Good hotel. I liked checking in online and getting my key from the kiosk instead of having to wait at the front desk. Everything was clean and nice. I didn’t love having stairs in the lobby as it was a pain to get our luggage up and down them. I would have also loved if our luggage has been dropped off in our room while we were out as some of our other hotels had done. But it was a nice hotel, very clean and the room was nice.

This is such a beautiful hotel. It's clean and fresh and the rooms are well appointed.
It's just off the main road but still incredibly peaceful and there are several tube stations very close by.
The staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for us and the breakfast was fantastic! So much to chose from.
I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel state it has parking and it doesn’t. Also hotel doesn’t have an wheel chair or pram access when you enter it just has stairs which lead to the lobby. The room we booked was £400 per night and it wasn’t cleaned properly so we checked out early and left. Definitely a 2/3 star hotel at best.

The hotel was welcoming and had a nice bar and separate restaurant.
As it was our wedding anniversary the hotel left us some chocolate cake on a plate with’happy anniversary’ piped onto it, a bottle of chilled Prosecco and a card. which was lovely 😊
The only downside was we had noisy neighbours that kept us awake quite late, but it might’ve been that there was a locked adjoining door because we could hear someone coughing the following morning.

We had an amazing stay at the Melia White House London during our summer trip! Our group booked six rooms on different floors, and from the moment we stepped into the elegant lobby, we felt like our vacation had truly begun.

The staff were wonderful—special thanks to Yasmin at check-in for her warm welcome, and to the friendly concierge team for their great tips on exploring the city. Their advice made sightseeing around London so much easier and more fun.

After long days of adventures, we loved relaxing in the hotel bar with its tasty menu and cozy atmosphere. The whole experience felt both luxurious and comfortable, making it the perfect home for our London getaway.

Can’t wait to return on our next trip to London!

This hotel is centrally located and has a modern appearance, as well as amenities. I found that the staff at check-in were not as hospitable, even to accommodate an early check-in or recognize a room upgrade due to Expedia status. There were several trips made to the manager to confirm my requests. I was made to wait for my room where I saw other guests granted early check-in. The rooms lack proper acoustic treatments and so I could hear conversations in the adjacent rooms clearly. The rooms however were very lovely and clean.

Worst Experience in Travel in 20 years

On July 5 I came to the desk to check in at 6:30pm after a long day of travel, hours after the stated check in time. I was told the room wasn't ready with no ETA and no prior communication on the delay. Not only that, but the employee helping me seemed distracted and like I was not a priority despite not having a room available for me as I'd booked. The employee proceeded to give me four free drinks at the hotel bar as consolation while I waited for my room. When I went to apply one of the drinks, the bartender told me they couldn't apply one and I had to use all four at once which is unrealistic given I was alone. When I shared this with the front desk person they barely acknowledged it displaying total lack of empathy. I then checked out of that room the next day, left my bags and went out for the day with a second reservation to a city view/levels room for July 6-8.
When I checked in the room yet again it wasn't ready at 7pm despite check in being 3-4pm. The room stated it would have a city view and had zero view. The person who checked me in told me nothing about the levels lounge and appeals, one of the primary reasons I paid significantly more vs. the standard room. The door didn't close without force while leaving and returning and the room had one towel but three pairs of slippers. In the middle of the night the ceiling started leaking which made for a terrible night of sleep and a soaked floor.

The bathroom had no ventilation which is a health hazard as the heat and moisture can create moulding. The bedroom smelled damp likely due to the lack of ventilation in the bathroom. so we needed to leave the windows open. The door hinge also was broken. The door wouldn't close all the way, it needed to be manually pulled shut. The gym was lovely! I loved it and wish there were more to it. The lobby is very nice and smells nice. The corridors to the rooms need to be repainted and the carpets changed.

The lobby of the hotel is beautiful. Not sure if the “Bar” just opened but the staff did not know how to make drinks (dirty martini) the service was also pretty slow. The walls in the hotel are extremely thin. You can hear everything in the hallways and your neighbors. No wash clothes will be given so bring your own.
