The only reason for not giving the 5 start is because of parking, the hotel is awesome and is in the best posible location, a lot to do and see around walking distance but theres no parking in the hotel, you need to drive couple of blocks to an underground parking and it is a lil bit of a mission. If you are not renting a car perfect but if you are renting a car is going to be challenging to park even driving around palma is crazy. Other than that the staff and hotel are awesome!

This hotel is one of the best boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. Every room is different and all beautifully decorated. We had a de lux room that faced the square with a balcony. Very lovely. Staff helpful and roof top plunge pool definitely worth a visit .

What a lovely hotel stay - sadly we were only there one night. The receptionist who met us was really friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The room was well designed and had everything you could need. A very personal service from a hotel chain in a busy city - that's not easy to find. Would definitely stay again or at one of their other hotels

The hotel is modern and clean as a whistle. The staff could not be any more kind and helpful. The food and service was top drawer.. Always more than responsive to any concern or question. Get the breakfast deal. We would sit outside every morning and have this fabulous food served so beautifully.

Disappointing

Stayed at this hotel before but was very disappointed on our most recent visit. Staff seemed to know very little, shower did not work well, and dinner was terrible. Decor is pretty and a great location. For a 5 star hotel, there are no amenities or anything that makes it extra special.

A lovely hotel for a weekend getaway in Palma. The staff were exceptional and couldn’t do more to make our stay at the hotel any better. The pool area, although small, was a great retreat away from the hustle of the city but perhaps not a pool for a week away if you wanted to stay longer. Great rooms and lovely decor. We look forward to visiting again!

Great location but noisy

I know you can’t have it all ways but the great location in old town meant that we were opposite the town hall clock that chimes every 15 mins. Also the terrace furniture is taken into the bar area at around 11pm every night destroying the atmosphere if you’re having a late drink then put out at 7am next morning which is very noisy. If noise doesn’t bother you the rooms are beautiful.

This was our second visit. It is a beautiful hotel and the staff are so helpful, couldn’t do enough for us. We were there for a night but had use of the rooftop pool all day, after we’d checked out and was able to use the spa for an hour to get changed and ready for flight home. Hotel is in great position, although it can get quite busy. We will definitely go back

Right in the middle of everything, couldn’t get a better location. Room was beautiful, spacious, fantastic view of everything going on in the square but quiet thanks to double glazed windows. Would definitely go back again.

Tastefully modern in historic city

Stayed for two nights on our way to Menorca. My room was upgraded to the top floor, facing the square. Free water bottles each night, and the softest towels I've ever felt! Great location and ambiance of the hotel. Rooftop pool area is small, but there weren't many people there to begin with.

Everything was exceptional at Hotel Mama. The hotel’s location is perfect. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated and had all the luxury amenities. The bed was very comfortable which helps when you are walking all day to take in the sights of Palma. I felt rested and relaxed every morning when I woke up. All the staff was kind and helpful.

We loved this hotel! What a great find. The room was beautiful, the bed extremely comfortable, all the linens and towels of great quality. But, what made it extra special was each member of staff - they could not have been better. Accommodating, kind and doing everything possible to make our stay comfortable. One of the best hotels in central Palma

One of the best hotels in central Palma, in the stylish Plaza de Cort, breakfast is served in a nice cafe. Each room is slightly different and has a nice personal taste. The restaurant downstairs serves fantastic cocktails. We’re definitely going to be back!

Magical!!!

This hotel is magical! From the lobby, to the cafe, to the room the decor is spectacular and we even had a door that opened with a Juliette balcony overlooking the courtyard of the hotel. Beds are extremely comfortable. The front desk staff were very warm and welcoming. Ana in particular was amazing. She was able to do what she could so we could get our room early. She also helped us with tips for Palma. They definitely go above and beyond for their guests. Definitely recommend it to others and I would definitely stay again if I return!

Good location

Near everything, big room, big bathroom, big bath. Balconies small only for standing to have a quick smoke, remember bring a paper cup with water as ashtray. TV small not facing the bed, not many English channel. Only a sheet to cover in bed, have to ask for blanket. Roof top pool very small, nice view, sunbed with umbrella, free bottle water.

Excellent New Hotel- Unique Design and Ammenies

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mama and cannot said to stay there again!

We were greeted with a welcome coffee upon arrival. The front desk staff was multi-lingual and friendly. Before arriving in our room we were offered a short tour of the facilities which was very helpful. I would recommend taking the brief tour to see the pool, spa, and cinema. Our bags were brought to our room while we were exploring the hotel.

The room was gorgeous with special design details such as beautiful tile floors, tall ceilings, and interesting furniture. The room overlooked a cute narrow street and had a tiny balcony. The bed was very comfortable with high quality bedding.

The bathroom was impressive with plenty of space, gorgeous tile and soft fluffy towels. The bathtub was enormous and comfortable. I personally appreciated the unique brightly colored water glasses. The little details are what make a place special. We ate dinner outside sat the restaurant and it did not disappoint. The Mediterranean salad was delicious! For breakfast You had a choice of egg selection and were also given fruit, meats, cheeses, croissants, juice, and coffee.
The WiFi was good. My only small complaint is that the outlets were only at the baseboards so it was difficult to charge certain things, especially if you had adapters. It would be nice to have a small “tech hub” or power strip somewhere. Overall I cannot wait to stay again and highly recommend it! Very elegant and beautiful!

Great stay!

Really great stay! Gorgeous new boutique hotel in perfect location on a buzzy central square in front of the town hall. All main sights within 10 mins walk. Rooms were spotlessly clean, beds Uber comfy and bathrooms spacious and well lit with fresh flowers. Towels and bed linen all high quality. Included breakfast was lovely and expansive. Overall the highlight was the staff who were all super smiley and willing to help.

What an amazing location and incredible hotel! We loved staying on the square; so near everything we wanted to see and the hotel itself is a true gem! For us it had the feel of a Four Seasons but with the character and the charm of the city! Loved the bar, the best coffee in all of Europe and breakfast with fresh avacado's was a real treat.

Good, but...

This is a beautifully styled hotel in a great central location. As a business traveller I felt there are areas for improvement. Check in was very slow, arriving at 8pm on a Sunday it was not possible to check in immediately and no reason was given. Coffee in the restaurant was offered whilst waiting but, despite it being quiet, it took 10 minutes to get any service and a further 15 minutes for coffee to arrive. By this time a return visit to reception finally allowed check in to be completed. In total 30 mins to check in at the end of a long day and no explanation given.

Breakfast was also an area from improvement. As a business traveller I needed an early breakfast before work and was informed by reception that breakfast was available in the restaurant from 7am. Arriving at 7:05 the next morning the restaurant was not ready and it was 7:20 before I got service. Service then was a little slow leaving me running late.

Finally on my last day I discovered in the morning that all the towels had been removed whilst I was out for the evening the previous night - presumably as part of the turn down service. This was not a good start to the day; having to wait 15 mins for reception to send up new towels!

This is a lovely hotel in a great location with lots of charm and all staff are courteous and helpful. Unfortunately it is let down by some of the finer details that the best hotels are good at doing and for me that was disappointing. Perhaps I was unlucky?

We were visiting family so didn’t always eat in the hotel but we cannot rate it highly enough. Having stayed all over the world, this hotel is good and deserves the 5 stars. Everything is spotless and the staff are very kind friendly and helpful. The position of this hotel could not be better and we will return.

Superb Location

Superb location minutes away from all the best bits of Palma. The staff were really accommodating and dealt with any queries efficiently and and in a friendly way. Really enjoyed the cinema in the basement for what felt like a very private viewing. Didn't eat evening meals in the hotel but the breakfast was first class. If you want an all you can eat buffet experience this is not the place for you. If, on the other hand you enjoy a leisurely start to the day with personal service and individually cooked you will enjoy this. Hotel has a gym and pool. The pool is more like a plunge pool for cooling down after sunbathing and not big enough to swim. The gym has limited equipment. Would I go back...yes. Without a doubt.
