The property was very unique and the rooms were nice. The bathroom could definitely use a shelf or hook for things. Great area. Very walkable with many shopping and restaurant options. Outdoor patio alongside restaurant would have been lovely to use but needs some maintenance.

Quirky room in an otherwise lovely hotel!

In an excellent position, this was a great stay. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast! Nice room with very comfortable bed and good shower furnished with fluffy towels. Only gripe is that the room was very quirky - toilet and shower were situated separately off the room but only by a partition (incomplete wall) which impacts on one’s privacy. Lack of proper storage space (strange wardrobe). The lovely staff and features listed above compensated for the negatives of the architect design.

Second visit 2 years running. Loved the place last year when booked for my wife’s 50th birthday. Great spacious rooms. Lovely cannoli shop next door and famous Spanish restaurant El Camino next door. Just up from a wonderful square where you can wine dine and people watch. Fantastic value for money. Well done again.

This was a great hotel option in Palma, perfect location for seeing all the historic sights and easy to walk to everything. We jumped on the bus right across the street to go to Bellver Castle.
The staff were all friendly, and the place was extremely clean. We were also very grateful to one of the ladies at the front desk who arranged for us to stay an extra night and we didn’t have to move rooms.
I recommend the breakfast, it had all the options you would look for. Great way to start the day!

1) my room was up lots of stairs ..3 floor s and across the dining room and along a corridor which was not great with a bulky and quite heavy suitcase. The receptionidt took it up for me but i had to bring it down and worried i might fall.
2) The breakfast was excellent although I don’t findpressing a button to make instant coffee as good as freshly made coffee that Spain’s cafés make so well.
Very central location which i appreciated and kind helpful staff. I will return (if they give me a more accessible room!)

Hotel was nice. My only complaint would be the service. Room was not ready for 3 hours after check in time which is not what you want after travelling. All i got was a sorry sir and had to sit in the waiting area for ages. Was not even offered a drink which is what id have done if i was in there shoes

The property is dated and it shows it. My room layout was bizarre, very little room between the wall and the bed but another room behind the bedroom which was a sort of a day room, but totally pointless. No USB sockets which I found absolutely bizarre in today's day and age, lights that didn't work and other ones that flickered. Booked a room with a terrace, surprised to find to access it I had to climb a staircase which was probably 12 to 18 inches wide, max, and then had to manage to wiggle a large bolt to open the door to get access to said terrace. Certainly not what I was expecting and totally useless if you wanted to make a spontaneous venture outside.

Great location, unclean room + lack of privacy

First I'll say the positive things about our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in hours earlier than the check in time because our room was ready, and the location is wondering and the most central you could be. You're surrounded by restaurants, shops, the cathedral is just a short 5 minute walk down the road and it's a very lively location. The breakfast, which was included was also wonderful. Lots of fresh juice, fruits and meats and the restaurant is very nicely designed.

The reason for the lower rating is because I feel like the money spent per night required the room to be much cleaner and a bit more upscale than it comes across as. Our room was supposed to come with a terrace but to get to the terrace you had to leave your room and walk up a set of stairs.

The layout of the room is also very small and confusing. We had a room with a second bedroom and there was only a curtain between an all glass door that directly backs onto the stairwell where people walk up and down. Our bedroom wall was also glass and sectioned off by a curtain, and if that curtain wasn't closed everybody could see directly into your bedroom where the bed is so we obviously felt we needed to have the curtain shut our entire stay.

The room was also unclean. There were stains on the floor and hair. I stayed in other hotels that shared the exact same price point and they were spotless. I've attached some photos for reference.

The hotel’s architecture is gorgeous and so interesting. Loved everything about our stay. The staff, the bed, the room with a private solarium on the roof, the fact that every room has something special, the delicious breakfast, the eclectic neighborhood. The staff had recommendation regarding where to park which made it easy.

We had booked a premium double room which is supposed to be 258 sq ft but wasn’t.
It didn’t have a proper bathroom. The toilet and sink was a pan elles area at one corner of the room while the shower was a paneled corner at the opposite corner of the room.
The small tv (not 32”) was mounted high on the wall, similar to what you see in the hospital.
Furnishing consisted of a mid sized Smeg frig, a small desk in an enclosed windowed alcove and an old, rattty looking stool.
Breakfast was at a nearby cafe where the staff practically threw the food at you.
When I showed friends photos of the room, they couldn’t believe we paid over 300 euros for one night.
On the plus side, the room was clean and staff was helpful.

The Hotel Room (630 named Richard) had a very strange food smell. We reported it, twice, to the management but it wasn't fixed during our stay. The room, albeit a standard room was very small, the hotel whilst they claimed they had a bar and a restaurant neither were open during our stay. Not great to be honest

The check in was seamless.However the restaurant/bar/sun terrace was closed and couldn’t be used. The staff were so nice we didn’t feel the need to complain direct. We where still charged the full amount when we had no facilities available to use during our stay. Breakfast was via a cafe bar down the narrow street on the corner. However nice the food was here it detracted massively from our experience. This was like an Air BNB room only experience and not a chic/boutique hotel weekend break we where sold.

Great location needs a better vision

The property was under going refurbishment. It was nosey and we were in a room with a lift only part way. It will be a lovely hotel but they should have made us aware that building works were happening and we could have chosen somewhere else. They charge for water which in a high rated accommodation there should be water available and 1€ for a coffee pod!! Tea and coffee should be available as a given.

I had expected two beds. What I got was one bed and one sofa bed. The sofa bed was not particularly comfortable. The main bedroom was quiet according to my brother who slept there. The living room, where the sofa bed was located was far from quiet. You could hear every conversation from the street below. You could hear people walking up the wooden stairs that were immediately outside of my room. You could hear every word spoken by the people in the hotel reception.

Good location

Location is good, in Old Town, walking distance to many restaurants, waterfront, cathedral, shops. The staff at reception were really friendly & helpful.
Lobby is stylish & breakfast seating area was nice & modern. Breakfast was ok, not a great deal of variety but had the basics (no pancakes!), but wasn't well replenished if you weren't there early (I don't mind asking to save extras being wasted but they had run out of a fair bit). I emailed before arrival to ask if they had oat milk & was told they did, but there was only soya which was disappointing. Not much at breakfast for vegans. And my partner found a staple in his cereal (nearly swallowed!), the breakfast staff apologised but no partial refund or anything.
We paid for a premium double room, but there wasn't really anything premium about it, reasonably spacious but nothing excessive. I don't think there was even a headboard & decor was quite basic & boring- no character & unattractive fixings. Calling it \"Architect\" Hotel seemed to be a bit of an excuse not to decorate or finish things properly (bad paint job, poor grouting/sealant, etc., lots of exposed pipework (\"rustic\" in places but not for bedrooms). Shower area was spacious but shower tray was tiny & penned in, which was a poor use of the space, & the shower head was tiny with poor flow, so showering wasn't comfortable. Bed was thankfully comfy & AC was great. The bar was very expensive. We might return (short stay only) but I wouldn't pay over the odds for it.

Pictures make the room look bigger than it actually was but it was nicely decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. We booked their biggest room with patio terrace. The only problem we had was the AC fuse kept blowing and we had to reset but the staff was very helpful. The first nught the AC also kept leaking so we had to put the garbage bin under it to catch the water, but eventually it got fixed.

Location was amazing. Right in city centre with amazing shopping and restaurants right next door. Love the boutique hotels in Palma.

The stay was the absolute worst we had in our many weeks in Europe. The air conditioning was completely broken and the receptionist could not reach the manager. The room was small and dark and ugly — not sure how the hotel has a 4-star rating — but it was impossibly hot. We left and found another hotel in the old city of Palma, which was delightful

The young woman at the receptionist desk could not get the AC to work, but did offer to let us use a small fan that is normally at the receptionist’s desk.

It was a dreadful experience. Avoid this hotel.

A secret gem of a hotel

A great find. Good location 8 mins walk from rhe A1 bus stop from the airport. Good facilities. Quirky style. Comfortable beds and quiet at night. Breakfast was excellent and the staff kind and helpful. My one slight dislike is that on one side of tge hotel where we were one of the staircases didnt have a handrail..... which for me was a slight issue but not enough to object, mark it down or complain. My suggestion is that if you cant make a flight of stairs, ask for a room near the lift. Id definitely stay again.

Cute boutique hotel near the cathedral

Nicely decorated boutique hotel near the cathedral. This was my first time in Mallorca abs I’m glad I selected this hotel because it was in the middle of everything that I wanted to see. It is located near trendy shops and boutiques with many eateries nearby. It is a short walk out to the place where you can just hang out or soak up the gorgeous architecture and eat wonderful food. Mari and Sara are great hotel staff. And Sara, originally from Mexico had a lot of great advice for places to visit and locations to dine at during my stay. My room was an odd corner room, with a lumpy bed abs windows that needed to be cleaned on the outside. Otherwise it was nicely equipped, tiny, efficient and clean. The community rooms were large, tastefully decorated and I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I would recommend to friends and stay again.

Disappointing, not the room advertised.

I booked a junior suite with terrace for a very special trip as our wedding was cancelled due to covid. The room we were given did not have a terrace attached, we were then shown a small area that the staff struggled to unlock and told we could use that. The terrace in the pictures had a beautiful 4 poster bed, this had a very uncomfortable sofa. Not one of the pictures on Hotels.com was of the room we were given. I complained but was told sorry all the rooms you booked are full. I asked for a refund and would go elsewhere but was told no. I asked for the manage to call, he did not. We arrived at 9am so we could have been told then that the room we booked was not available but we were not. The room we had was not comfortable at all. The sofa looking at the sink, the TV was above the kitchen area. We were 2 flights up but could hear every word from reception. Not relaxing or enjoyable in any way. I just feel for reception staff that the manager left to deal with this. i will be pursuing a refund.

My arrival was okay, I was welcomed by a male receptionist with a friendly face who gave me some info and map of the city.

I was disappointed that there is no direct lift that can bring you to the rooms. You had to pass through the restaurant (on 1st floor) if you want to use the lift from the lobby then make your way through the circular staircase until the 3rd floor. Upon entering the room, i was greeted by an old smell(same like that of a dead rat but maybe its from the wood material used in the room) for my entire stay.

To be fair, the room is cosy and looks amazing BUT if you’re a LIGHT SLEEPER, noise from outside bars creep in through the windows. Tourists’ scream, laughs of customers from restaurants can be heard even in the middle of the night.

Heater does not work, the room was very cold even at 29 deg. No free bottled water provided. But there is Nespresso coffee and tea. Also, THEY OFFERED A FREE DRINK at the bar on the first night after connecting to the hotel’s internet.

Also, another bad point is, every time I ask for help at the reception, about something or any questions, they couldnt help me because they dont understand or speak English that much.

I only appreciate the young male receptionist who was able to help me on my arrival and taught me to use the SAFE as there was NO instruction provided on the machine. And the fact that I have a massive balcony is a PLUS!

Unprofessional & low standards

Disappointed! We paid a lot of money for 3 nights stay and expected the quality that was shown in pictures and online. Outdoor gym was filty! No cleaners came to open up plastics on the machines, had not been wiped in months with sticky dust covering all equipment. Broken gym equipment thrown in the corner. We got so dirty from doing warmup our clothes and hands were black from ground!? I complained, no one did something about it. Next day same dirt!
Breakfast not worth the price at all! Rather go out to eat! No healthy alternatives likes granola, only sugary pops. No berries (it was summer time) only melon daily. No variety, no pancakes as pictures promised. Very disappointing.
Our room was smelling of cloak from toilet, got to change for last night to another room next to restaurant which people misunderstood for toilet since moustache on door!? We have a 1 year old who kept waking up from all the knocking on the door.
I have written the manager an email for money back. I was offered an lousy voucher for 20%off next stay!? Are you kidding me!

Cozy hotel with contemporary design

LOVE LUV!!! Stayed 1 night in Jr. Suite & absolutely loved my room, art, decor, comfy bed, pillows & great rain shower. Enjoyed the amenities: bath robe, slippers, Nespresso coffee and toiletries. Big plus for welcome drink. I chose cava and enjoyed it on the beautiful terrace next to the restaurant. The property is full of wonderful contemporary art and furniture and lots of hidden treasures. I didn't use the private terrace next to my room because I was alone but had I been with friends, I would have taken advantage. In the heart of Old Town and close to everything. The only deficits would be the smart TV is connected to WiFi and WiFi was not stable so there was delay a few times; I could hear water running from the other rooms, possibly when they showered; and I never found the gym. Not a big deal and I would return without hesitation.

Loved the concept of the hotel. It's quirky with lots of interesting nooks and crannies. There's a rooftop bar and restaurant where we were treated to a complementary drink on arrival. The staff were extremely friendly and the location was excellent. Unfortunately, i wouldn't stay their again. The bathroom situation is absurd. In our room, the toilet and shower were separated from the bedroom by a 3/4 height fully transparent glass panel meaning that if you went to the toilet or showered you were completely exposed to whoever was in the room with you. Why they've done this, i have no idea

When we back to the hotel, our baggage had already been moved to our villa!
Our villa was a bit unexpected ( not that architectural), but also was a nice place.
And their breakfast buffet provided many choices and yummy!

After hundred of stays in hotels around the world this was the worst value for money I have ever experienced. The main hotel itself is stylish, great service and fantastic breakfast. However if you stay in “the villa” it is a decrepit apartment with no style, terrible cleanliness and not at all on a level with the rest of the hotel. To position it as consistent with the rest of the hotel is nothing short of fraud. Absolutely disgusting start to our stay in Mallorca - staff were good and worryingly, seemingly used to complaints about the shocking room. Buyer beware

While being in an hotel that could fill an entire architect magazine has it's charm, it comes with a feeling that usability is an inconvenience in the eyes of architects. From a mess of different buildings to our small room without cabinets(we got a fancy looking thing for hanging our clothes and there were cheap aged wooden crates screwed to the walls) there is plenty of architectural non-sense.

Our room was noisy from the street and from the plumbing of the room above. Our architectural toilet offered no privacy and that was an inconvenience for us. Very expensive for the room we got, but the hotel is well located with plenty to do at walking distance. On the bright side the restaurant and breakfast were really good, and staff lovely.

Girly weekend in Palma

Perfect place to stay for a few days exploring Palma.
Hotel with a difference, very quirky and modern, great location and spotlessly clean, comfy beds.
Bar and restaurant staff lovely and friendly and always with a smile, great service.
Very speedy check-in and check-out.

Very unique hotel

It is a really unique hotel with some interesting design in the rooms and the rest of the hotel. It is incredibly close to the centre of everything so very easy to explore Palma from here. It does make some of the rooms quite noisy at night, as it is surrounded by bars and restaurants, but it quietens down by 12pm. Very comfortable, exceptionally helpful staff and the breakfast is excellent - buffet with a good choice of everything. Not very suitable for kids due to the number of stairs, but leave them at home like we did and enjoy Palma!

The \"Villa\" is essentially an apartment situated away from the main hotel. At some point someone has made a poor attempt to renovate the \"villa\" to allow the hotel to rent it out. The air conditioning was faulty and noisy, the bathroom was horrific and the cleanleiness of the rooms was shocking. VERY POOR HOTEL. We request a full refund.

The staff were great, as was location and breakfast.
The quality of the room we had was poor, mouldy bathroom, tiny shower,, bleach on sofa, noise off street 24/7.

Very well positioned hotel in the cenre of Palma surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. Staff very friendly. Cannot comment on food as I stayed room only. Hotel is modern and comfortable. The only downside for me was that I didn`t get much sleep because of the noise from other rooms. There is no sound insulation. I did mention this to the management and they said they knew about the problem and were working on it.

A very nice and comfortable (and unique!) hotel. Great breakfast. WiFi is a little inconvenient to access however. Is it really necessary to go through all those screens for each device, I.e., phone, iPad and Kindle?

We loved the Brondo!

We stayed at the Brondo at the beginning and end of our honeymoon -- both rooms were super comfortable and interesting. It's situated in the PERFECT part of Palma. Lots of restaurants, attractions and great shopping within a beautiful, short walk. We absolutely loved it. Delicious breakfast too!

Great hotel! The walls were a little thin in the room so we could hear the courtyard rocking late at night and our neighbors, but very comfortable and we liked our patio. Also excellent location.

Great location for a city break

The room was very small and the air conditioning unit was very noisy, every 2 minutes there was a very loud vibrating noise, so the last couple of nights we turned the unit off. Also the window had a frosted glass effect plastic covering stuck onto it, not very well fitted. I know it was looking onto a very narrow street but it would have been nice to see the natural day light. Pay for one of the larger rooms if you stay here, you won’t be disappointed!!! Staff were very friendly. Never managed to use the WiFi they said they had had a few problems. Over all we had a lovely city break in a beautiful city 👍

Disappointed had to be worst hotel ever
Shower sprayed water everywhere due to poor design resulting in floor warping
Toilet behind clear glass screen and totally inappropriate
We were roomed in an annex across from the main hotel which felt unsafe as no security evident not even a door to prevent anyone wandering in
Quirky hotel instead read unfinished, cheap materials and totally impractical
The hotels redeeming feature was its location up an alleyway, no parking but centrally located.
Had to leave the restaurant before we had even ordered due to the European smoking rules being disregarded, similarly people smoking in the bar where folks were eating

Very shabby chic

Fab hotel across a couple of sites. Although has taken shabby chic to the shabby end in places, not in a bad way, but does look ‘raw’ in places. Rooms are small but well designed and comfortable. the bathrooms lack some privacy with a screen and curtain rather than self contained. Lovely breakfast terrace and plenty of breakfast choices.

Amazing staff, incredible original hotel and they gave us an incredible room, couldn’t be happier! Location is incredible in the heart of the city and the streets are amazing for a reasonable price! Beautiful hotel 10/10 a must stay if you’re coming to Palma!
