One member of staff you stood out was Daniel, he was very friendly, helpful and provided plenty of information on the hotel facilities as well as the local area in Palma. He also gave us excellent recommendations for Tapas bars and restaurants.All the staff were very friendly and helpful which made our stay at the hotel very enjoyable and comfortable.

A wonderful hotel right in the middle of old town. The staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. They make you feel welcome from when you book to the time you head to leave the hotel. We will definitely stay here next time we visit.

Return visit back to Room 1, the best and nicest hotel room in Palma! Can Alomar is really lovely – highly recommend taking breakfast on the roof by the small pool, and then the Mallorcan Rose on the bar Terrace overlooking Pg del Born in the evening. Service couldn’t be better – very highly recommended!

Really great experience from the moment you check in until the moment you leave. Situated in the heart of Palma, everyone in the hotel goes above and beyond and can not do enough for you. Room 1 was a fabulous suite, with 2 large juliet balconies overlooking Passieg Del Born. I can highly recommend breakfast of Pan Con Tomate and Iberico Ham on the pool terrace in the morning!
We have been lucky enough to travel globally and stay in some lovely places - this is one of them, and we'll be back.

The team at Can Alomar could not have been more welcoming and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The accommodation and facilities are worthy of the hotel's five star rating and its location on the fashionable Born is ideal for all that Palma has to offer. Delicious breakfast in the sunshine on the terrace, a beautifully presented dinner in the intimate restuarant in the evening began and ended each perfect day at Can Alomar. The delightful roof terrace with small pool and luxurous loungers afforded the opportunity for rest and relaxation. A place to remember and to return.

This was our second visit to the hotel and, if possible, it was even better than the first. Hotel is so elegant and calm and in a fabulous position for the port, restaurants and shops. We had a beautiful room, although personal preference would be for a room on second floor with the beautiful windows. The staff are so lovely and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

Well appointed, excellent location, and impeccable service. The gracious public spaces in this hotel have a soothing and calm vibe —nice lounge by the bar and lovely balcony terraces (a bit cold outside in winter yet nice to sit in the sun). Our room was plenty spacious, equipped with all the amenities one expects and then some. The bed was especially comfortable. Windows are well insulated from the noise outside. Breakfast buffet comprises a wide variety of choices with some unexpected and delicious combinations. The staff throughout was helpful and most pleasant. All in all a wonderfully relaxing experience. If I’m back in town, I’ll surely look to stay here again.

Fabulous luxury hotel in great location

Just returned from a three night city break in Palma and I have to say this hotel was just heavenly.

From the start we were made to feel welcome and looked after and the service was always pleasant and understated.

We never ate in the hotel as we always chose to go out exploring the city so I can’t comment on the food, however the restaurant always appeared busy.

The location is great - ideal for exploring the old town, the marina and the shopping districts. It is situated on a fairly busy street which is great for people watching however if noise on an evening bothers you then you may want to request a side facing room.

The rooms we stayed in was extremely comfortable and very stylish and I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a luxury city break.

16 room hotel in downtown location with very spacious rooms and perfect bar and dining floor. Large tarace for fresh air sitting. Beading size unbiellivible and full bath with modern fixtures invites for a shower on arrival. On contrary some table on the side will help to keep used items like camera, wallet or so. Second chair in a room can help avoid sitting on bed. TV set sits to low by 1 to 2 feet so watching from bed is obstructed by blanket. Front desk staff very helpful in dealing with locals.

This is an outstanding boutique hotel with professional, attentive and friendly staff. This newly renovated hotel is located in the heart of Palma. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was wide and spotless. It could be better if the toilet was separated from the bathroom with an opaque glass door. Breakfast is nice with a selection of several hot egg dishes. It is served 8-11 AM - early risers should notify the front desk in advance to get their (more modest) breakfast before 8 AM.

A wonderful, small, elegant hotel

Spent four nights at the Can Alomar. It is a gem....and the location could not be better. Everything in Palma's historic district is within easy walking distance, as are Palma's most upscale shops. Only caveat: Parking can be a bear, so take a taxi to the hotel, stay and explore, and then taxi out to the car rentals to see the rest of the island. Staff at Can Alomar could not be more helpful....all in all a wonderful experience.

Fabulous Boutique Hotel

Having travelled the world extensively for many years we have stayed in many hotels but this boutique hotel stands out as probably the best overall experience we have ever had anywhere. The hotel is situated on a beautiful, tree-lined boulevard in the most select part of the city. Our room (number 6) was palatial and very quiet at all times. It was furnished and decorated to an exceptional standard with a huge, comfortable bed, superb bathroom and our own private courtyard with potted plants. The public spaces (lounge bar, terrace and restaurant) were both luxurious and comfortable - the whole place being kept spotlessly clean at all times. The enthusiastic and well-trained staff could not have been more helpful or attentive to our needs. We did not eat in the renowned restaurant in the hotel but enjoyed a delicious breakfast every day in the bar/cafe area. There is a taxi rank right outside the hotel and a bus stop for service number 2 which takes a circular route around the historical area and is a cheap, interesting way to reach places of interest and the main intermodal station for trips further afield by bus and train. The hotel is just a few minutes pleasant walk from the Cathedral, marina, numerous high-end shops and a multitude of bars and restaurants. The hotel is at the higher end of the scale as far as room rates are concerned but we had such an enjoyable experience that it was worth every Euro as far as we were concerned.

One word...fabulous!

This was our second time staying at the hotel, and again everything was perfection. The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble and they really work hard. The hotel is in a great location with shops and restaurants on your doorstep, although with a hotel as gorgeous as this it's actually quite hard to leave. Wonderful place, will definitely be booking to stay again!

As soon as we entered the hotel the staff were welcoming,we were shown around and offered a welcome drink of our choice on the outside terrace where you can sit and chill to background music. Our room was modern clean and spacious. Breakfast is served either in the bar,dinning room or on another outside terrace.If you go to the top of the hotel there is a pool,sun beds and a seated area under a canopy where on request you can have food and drink brougt to you off the menu.

City centre hotels all have their own style, Can Alomar is no exception, from location to interiors, staff at reception and breakfast. All were good with one exception.
Staying for just 4 nights getting accustomed quickly to breakfast is important.
On our first morning this was rather poorly organised with slow, unattentive service and left us worried as to what would follow. The remaining mornings were all excellent, even early on our day of departure when the one waitress on duty and new to her roll coped very well.

All facilities were clean and well cared for.
We had 3 rooms all were beautifully equipped and very spacious and comfortable 1 however over the restaurant terrace was quite noisy.

The hotel and staff are absolutely fantastic. We were there for 8 nights.
The only surprising omission in the room was no bedside table on one side (this was rectified) and the reading lights not very good at all. No good makeup mirror or decent reading/make up lighting in the room. Obviously kitted out by a man!! Everything else absolutely fantastic and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely small boutique hotel in the city centre

Chose this hotel for a mini break in October to enjoy some late summer sun. This small Boutique hotel is located above the Louis Vuitton shop in a nice area close to shops, restaurants and the harbour area. The small reception area is on the ground floor with the beautifully appointed bar, restaurant and terraces on floor 2. We were shown around the hotel by the manager upon arrival which was a nice personal touch. The reception staff were extremely helpful and courteous at all times.

There's a very nice roof terrace with small plunge pool to enjoy. This is reserved for hotel guests only and so, with only 16 rooms, does not get very busy. The restaurant is open to the public.

We loved the hotel. The only downside was the traffic noise from the busy street below. We requested a quiet room and were allocated a room on floor 3 to the side but it was still quite noisy despite the double glazing. The hotel is in the city centre so you would expect some noise. After the first night, we got used to the sounds of the street below and it didn't spoil our stay.

We noticed that one of the more expensive rooms had tea/coffee making facilities which our room did not have. It would have been nice to have had this facility in our room.

There are plenty of good restaurants in the area to try including good vegetarian and tapas establishments just up the side street.
The shopping is pure heaven!

Only 15 minutes from the airport by taxi.

this is a great hotel in one of the best places in Palma and if that is not enough close to the sea.

Reception couldn't have been more helpful . The location was excellent with bars, restaurants boutique shops all around . There are quieter rooms at the rear but we wanted a front facing and the double glazing windows kept most of the traffic noise etc out of room . We would definitely pick this hotel as the best in palma

Boutique luxury hotel

We stayed for 4 nights for a relaxing long weekend, the Can Alomar was perfect for this, Situated in the heart of the old town, a beautiful old building wonderfully restored, staff friendly and happy to help. loved it, would certainly recommend the hotel and definitely stay there again when next in Palma.

Lovely hotel in the old town

Had a fabulous relaxing few days at the hotel; great position and lovely views from our huge window over the avenue. Two lovely terraces and nice roof top pool although pool very small! Staff were great and made our stay so relaxing. We would definitely go back

A lovely hotel in an excellent location near the Cathedral and waterfront, near lots of good restaurants. Super-polite, helpful staff who could not do enough for you: free welcome drinks, tidying room twice a day and providing any tourist information required. Great terraced bar and cosy inside eating and drinking area.

Great city centre hotel.

Check in was excellent, a warm welcome, a thorough briefing on the hotel and it's facilities and a tour of the main rooms, bar, pool restaurant etc. We had access to our room at 11am despite check in not being until late afternoon. We had a large well equipped room with large bathroom with walk in rain shower. The room was very clean, modern furnishings and was serviced properly every day. A very comfortable stay made that little bit more special by the helpful and friendly staff.

Piece if history with modern comforts

The Can Alomar has a very hiistorical feeling to it - housed in a centuries old building in a very central palma location, it is the perfect hotel for visiting palma town and mallorca in general. Shops are restaurants are nearby as is the harbour and the cathedral. The staff were very welcoming and available to make my stay comfortable. My room opened up to a terrace facing the cobblestone street. My only gripe was a bit of the noise leaking into the room from the street which woke me one during the night. Otherwise everything was great

Excellent hotel in a prime location

Great location, impressive building, stylish interior yet informal and comfortable. Outstanding staff make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them. We had a very spacious room with a large bathroom, huge comfortable bed and a great view of the Born, a tree lined boulevard. The restaurant serves delicious food and features two outside terraces overlooking the Born.Difficult to better this hotel for a city centre break in Palma.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Palma

Went to celebrate an anniversary. The hotel is in the best location near the beach and on the Main Street of the city. The staff was amazingly accommodating and kind. They helped us with dining reservations, yacht booking and even a hot air balloon ride! Can't wait to return!

Superb luxury hotel in prime location in Palma

Short city break in November to explore Palma, Mallorca. Stayed for 3 nights at the Can Alomar which is in a prime location, situated on the Passeig Born, the fashionable and upmarket shopping area of Palma, but also adjacent to the magnificent old town, cathedral, and the sea-front and beach. Overall the hotel cannot be faulted in any respect. Superb service led by Lorenzo and his team, extremely courteous, efficient and thoughtful. The hotel itself and facilities very much top notch in a subtle and refined way. Lovely building, first class accommodation. Superb buffet breakfast on the terrace overlooking Born, equally wonderful for evening drinks. In summary, an excellent hotel very deserving of its 'luxury boutique hotel' title. Highly recommended.
