Take ear plugs as noisy with drilling from workers nearby
Also I noticed the day before that my booking was for one person but I'd booked a double room.
I searched the accommodation for a single person room and for a double room , the price was £2 more.

I contacted the hotel and they stated there was a supplementary fee of €30 for the extra person.
I contacted Hotels.com who were very helpful and contacted the hotel, the response was to pay the €30 supplementary fee at the hotel.
When I got to the hotel I stated the problem and the receptionist stated the fee was still to be paid.
Our room was 2 bedroomed with a double bed and a single bed!

Super comfy bed and great, clean bathroom

This hotel stands out in my mind for its clean room and spacious bathroom. The shower was amazing after a travel day, and the bed was very comfortable. The beach is about a 35 min walk away so perhaps not the best location for that purpose, but the accommodations were a 10/10 for my friend and me!

The room had plenty of space, was very clean and had everything we needed. We only stayed for one night prior to joining a cruise ship but the hotel was in a great location for getting the bus from the airport, bus to the port and also walking distance to the old town. Would stay again and recommend based on our experience

It is what it is - its simply a bed whilst you are en route elsewhere. Its in an excellent position to explore the old town and its clean and well run. There is an excellent bar to the right for breakfast and a supermarket to the left who I cannot rate too highly. I bought 23 euros worth of stuff and he gave me a present of a bag of cherries! If like us you want somewhere cheap and cheerful to lay your head whilst waiting to go on your holiday and a chance to check out Palma then I am more than happy to recommend.

Will not hesitate in recommending to anyone on that basis, a short stay, as there are no other facilities like a pool which comes very handy in this city.

Room very small, bathroom very very small and out dated. Walls so paper thin could hear our neighbours snoring constantly
during the night. No bar or breakfast to be
seen. How on earth this hotel got 3 stars is beyond belief. Would not recommend anyone to stay here. Only positive thing was the location.

Overall, it was fine for the price and the location was convenient. I’d picked it, though, because it was listed as having airport transportation. But it has no transportation to and from the airport. Still, when I called the front desk explained the best way to take the public bus or cab to me, so I appreciated that.

Good hotel with good restaurants close by.

We first stayed at this hotel in January and were impressed by it's location. There is an excellent bar/restaurant on the opposite corner of the road which we can highly recommend -Bar Mavi.
A very nice touch is that the hotel provides water coolers on each floor which was very much appreciated. We were also very relieved to take full advantage of the air conditioning in the room, as the temperature was in the 30s each day!!
A nice comfortable room with good daily housekeeping.
Please note that the hotel is not close to the cathedral - it is rather a long distance to walk to.

The room was tiny, even though we got a three bed instead of a double one, which helped maneuvering around, as we stored our luggage there. The WIFI was extremely slow. The furniture was old and damaged. The room was averagely clean with lots of other people's hair on the floor and bathroom. Area under sink hadn't been cleaned in ages.

The walls are paper thin and you can listen to every move your \"neighbours\" make. Thankfully we landed quiet ones.

The area itself looks a bit dodgy with no good restaurants or bars around. Having said that, we didn't encounter any problems, but had to take a taxi in and out of the town center which added to the cost.

Too expensive for what it has to offer. But if having to stay there, avoid rooms on the first two floors and next to the elevator.

Simple hotel on fantastic street in Palma

Hotel is very simple but very nice. The room was no frills but very comfortable and clean. The street that it is on is a classic neighborhood that is very central. Bus stop right in front that will get you anywhere you want to go. Front desk reception was very nice and welcoming. Really enjoyed my stay.

Had a wonderfull time, not too busy in April used the buses to get around the island which are easy to use and drivers very helpfull, Marine Land is a bit expensive as it is not a very big place and at 24 Euros each we though it could have been cheaper. Lots of Museums to go to in Palma and the Catherdral is amazing

Great hotel in walking distance of City Centre

The hotel is about 5 minutes walking to the City Centre with all its shops and modes of transport. The room and on-suite shower room, albeit a bit small, was comfortable and very clean. Our twin room had comfortable beds, a small fridge for our use, a side table with stool, a chair, wardrobe with mirror door, luggage stand and bedside table. There were 2 power points in the bedroom and 1 in the bathroom. A small flat screen TV on the wall and free WiFi. Downstairs in the lobby is a computer for guests to use in case you didn't bring your own form of communication. Being on the 4th floor we appreciated the lift, and at the reception desk they were very helpful. Next door is cafe Mavi, where they serve great coffee, breakfast, Menu del Dia, tapas and dinner for not a lot of money. We stayed for 7 nights and would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Going on the Hop on Hop Off bus is a great way to find out about the layout of Palma with its Historic Centre, museums, seafront, harbour etc. We particularly enjoyed museum Es Baluard and its restaurant with terrace. So much so that we returned daily for a drink on the sunny terrace with great views. The experience of taking the Edwardian train to Soller is not cheap but worthwile and you can definitely shop till you drop in Palma's streets and squares.

Convenient location

The bus from the airport has a stop within a 5-minute walk of the hotel, and the train station is a ten-minute walk away with lots of cafes for breakfast if you choose not to eat at the hotel. Hotel staff were very helpful in finding places on maps, and there was 24-hour access. The hotel offered to arrange car hire for touring the island.

A hidden gem

This small hotel is in a quiet corner yet it is within walking distance to everything you need to see in Palma. A short 5-7 minute walk to the Plaza de España and the historic Soller train.15-20 minute walk to Las Rambla and 15 more to the Cathedral and the walk along the bay. The staff is friendly and greets you going in or going out.

As a single traveller the double room was adequate. However, two would have been severely cramped. Only one chair in room, none at desk. No breakfast available apart from ordering from outside caterers, but plenty of eating places nearby apart from Sunday's. Could have done with a fridge in the room, but free cold water machine next to lift was beneficial.

We stayed 3 nights as part of a holiday on the island. The hotel had no bar, minimal lounge space, tiny rooms with a 4 foot long balcony. They did not serve any meals evn though the website promised breakfast. All we got was a tiny bedroom and no other facilities.

Good but a bit noisy at night

The receptionists were extremely kind and helpful. We were able to do the check in before the the actual time. The room was very clean but noisy. You could hear the guests in other room talking and dragging furniture. The mattresses were not the best quality for a 3 star hotel...I would expect something more comfortable. The old town is approximately 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. It was all in all a good place to stay.

If you like the idea of a poor location, slow internet, sleeping on a rock-hard mattress while listening to the toilet running all night, and then having only cold water for your morning shower, then this place is for you. Otherwise, please look elsewhere.

I chose this hotel based on its proximity to the city center and to the Plaza de Espana from where you can catch the bus to Valldemossa and the train to Soller. The hotel didn't disappoint; everything was according to the standard of a three-star hotel. The front desk personnel were particularly helpful with directions and advice. The room was on the smaller size (to be expected for a 3 star), very clean, and functional. A small fridge was provided, as were drinking water dispensers on every floor. Bathroom was functional, on the smaller size, and very clean. Overall we had a great stay, and recommend the hotel, especially for its cleanliness and location.

A Great little find in the centre of Palma

What can I say, 5 minutes to Plaça España and less than 50 euros a night. Yes it was cheap and cheerful, yes the room was on the small side but what more do you need? A hot shower and a comfy bed when all the otehr hotels close by are 3 times the price.

In some places it could use a little love but don't let that put you off, a great budget hotel and very friendly staff and no extra charge for the internet - perfect !!

The hotel is basic but nice. It was spotlessly clean and the receptionists were always polite. The free wifi was welcome and there was BBC world news on the tv. It is only a 10-15 minute walk down to the town centre but the bars and restaurants around the hotel were excellent. We found the prices of food/drink increased once you crossed the main road to the town centre.

Stayed one night to round off a holiday in Mallorca. Was using public transport so wanted somewhere near train with good links to airport. This hotel ticked all the boxes, being 5 mins from train and stop for airport bus.

Plenty of cafes nearby for breakfast so room only is no problem.

Good location near the main railway station and near many restaurants. The room was reasonable size with a little alcove containing table, chair, and fridge. Electric kettle was available on request, together with cups and saucers, which was very handy for late evening/early morning tea or coffee in our room. The room was very clean. Don't know why it is rated 1*, when it has a 3* rating on the desk?!

Only stayed 1 night as a stopover, on the way to Cala Millor. It is close to the bus station and was convenient for an early start. They demand payment on arrival before you view the room, had I done so I would have walked away. I could barely get the luggage through the narrow door. The view from the window was of broken sanitary ware. The bathroom door kept jamming and was very difficult to open and close. The toilet failed at 11 pm and was full of human waste by the time we left at 8am the following day. They claimed breakfast was not included, although it should have been! I asked to speak to the manager on leaving to get a refund, but was told there no manager on site. Did not have time to pursue this as we had a bus to catch

Stayed 3 nights in May 2013. Central location - easy walk to old town, railway station and cathedral. Clean and recently refurbished. Rooms are quite small and the safes didn't work in either of our rooms. Staff friendly and helpful. A little noisy on the lower floors on the front of the building from the road but not enough to disturb sleep.

Just right for us

Great hotel for a break in Palma. We prefer to stay just outside the tourist area, and this hotel has a feel of the local community nearby. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby with food and drink at local prices. All the tourist attractions are within 15 minutes walk. The hotel room was small but comfortable and everything worked. The staff were friendly and helpful when approached, but unobtrusive. The room and communal areas were spotlessly clean.

Good value for money as long as you don't expect luxury - the hotel is a 5 to 10 min walk from the centre of town, the staff were helpful, the room was massive and incredibly clean. The bed was a little stiff and the air con didn't work but we had a surprise fridge, cable TV with a couple of English speaking channels so we were content- we stayed there one night and would return if coming back to Palma on a budget.

Great hotel for a city break

Really comfortable small hotel in the centre of Palma. Although it is listed as a 1 star budget hotel, it catered for our needs admirably. The only little niggle would be that the hotel does not have a bar or restaurant although it does offer room service for pizzas etc. This was not a huge problem however as the hotel is so centrally located near Plaza Espana that there are lots of bars and restaurants in the vicinity.

Excellent value, great hotel in central location.

An absolute gem in the heart of Palma.The hotel is in a great location, a 10/15minute walk from the central bus, metro and train station, so a great base if you want to explore the island. The room was perfectly nice, simply but tastefully decorated. The bathroom was a good size and very clean. The shower head in our room had a tendency to droop, but otherwise very pleasant. We were provided with a remote control for the air-con (which was very effective) by reception. Comfortable bed, only slight negative is that the springs were quite noisy on our bed. My partner is diabetic so we requested a fridge for his medication, which was kindly provided to us. Staff were generally pleasant, we encountered two female receptionists during our stay, one of whom was extremely friendly and helpful, the other was a bit miserable looking at times or would frequently be talking to a friend in the next room, but still perfectly helpful when approached. We arrived early on our day of check-in and departed late and were able to leave our bags in a secure room. The reception area is very nicely decorated. There is a decent computer in reception from which one can access the internet for free. This hotel is not suitable for someone wanting easy access to a beach, Palma's beaches (30/40 minutes walk) are not very nice. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Great value. I can also recommend D'Tapas, a restaurant on the same road as the hotel which offers excellent at very reasonable prices.

Great location, clean and tidy but thin walls.

Good points: great location near to shops and main transport hub. Spotless room. Great air conditioning. Very reasonable room rates. Free in room safe.
Bad points: Thin walls which mean that your need an element of luck to sleep well. We had 8 out of 9 great nights and 1 night of hell due to a couple of hyper, inconsiderate muppets who decided to talk on top of their voices from 12 midnight until 6am!

Clean, friendly, free wifi, quite a good location

The hotel is just around the corner from the Plaza of spain, so make sure you take the bus from the airport for 2 euros rather than 20 for a taxi. It takes about 15 min to walk to the port.
The hotel itself is very clean and friendly. Our room was small but it had everything you needed including TV Wifi and hairdryer. So for the money its pretty good value. The only thing I would improve on is the finish of the decor in the rooms and you can hear the other residents. I would however recommend the hotel.

Great Value Hotel

This hotel is about ten minutes walk from the Plaza Espana, so very centrally located. It was much nicer than it appeared on the website, so we were pleasantly surprised. Although our room was small, it was very comfortable, and air conditioned, which was a bonus. Our bathroom was really spacious and well equipped, with shower gel and a hairdryer. It was also nice and clean. We would definitely stay there again, and recommend it too. There are a few nice wee bars in the vacinity.

Great except for the paper thin walls

If you are a light sleeper, the hotel was on a semi-main road and even with the windows closed it was noisy... our room was also on the 2nd floor facing the road. Real wining the cup on the last night didn't help either ;-)

Other rooms would probably be different, higher up facing in etc.

Everything was clean and the staff were helpful, standard no frills stuff, but the room did have a fridge. Although it took a bit of time to walk to the waterfront it was about a 5 minute walk from where the bus from the airport drops off at Park de Espanya (or something like that). The neighborhood was great, local stuff not geared at taking advantage of the tourist.
