There were little black flies everywhere, Very noisy. Stairs in room and I fell and broke my nose. No restroom in lobby. Two ratty towels and the sheets were too short for the bed. No blanket, Got comforter and it had holes in it. They threaten with a 175 peso charge if you stain towels or sheets. I could go on but, not worth it.

Place looked good in pictures. You can tell that outside was remodeled not long ago. However, once you get into the room... OH BOY! DEPRESSING... (NOT EVEN TO SLEEP ONLY MENTALITY) sadly the host (young lady) attending lack of professionalism, courtesy nor attention to details. I was placed in a room that didn't have towels, soap, toilet paper. On top of that she dindt explained anything about the parking, which you gotta pay (In cash) a deposit for you to have it... location is good for restaurants and night life but besides that...oh boy.. pool was green... like...legit green... i sadly pre-paid 4 nights... i lost the money as i could only sleep 1 night... please buy new bed sheets!! All of them dirty,stained and old...

Expedia said it had breakfast but hotel didnt have a restaurant so we would need to walk to a restaurant and get the breakfast. Pictures are not what it seems. They have so much filter on them or pictures are so old. Place is old and bathroom is so rusty and dirty. Beds were stained and towels too. Had to spend 40 mins killing mosquitoes in the room. Only good thing was staff was friendly. Not their fault hotel is bad

We paid for the king bedroom and what we received is only disappointment!!
Dirty rooms full of mold, a nasty bathroom mirror, and guess what, we had to ask for towels since there are NO towels, neither a blanket in the room! You can see all the evidence attached to this review!

First, they gave us a room on the ground floor facing the main street. The windows are not sealed, and it feels like we are sleeping on the main street! THE ROOM HAD ONLY ONE OUTLET. since my husband is using a medical device to sleep, we did not have an option to charge our phones!

After we complained, they changed our room to a second one that I wish was better, but this goes even worse.

Today (the second day of our stay in this hotel in the second room), the AC in the room makes a TERRIFIYING noise and is leaking terribly, which damaged our clothes that were under it.

We asked to talk to the manager, and they told us they DON'T HAVE THE MANAGER'S NUMBER NEITHER THEY KNOW WHEN HE IS COMING BACK (A pure insult)!

They are doing absolutely nothing to help or reimburse our loss, and they are literally saying this is our problem!

They are only willing to downgrade our room to a DOUBLE BED WITH NO absolute reimbursement!

I liked the hotel.. it was clean and neat. It was in a desirable area, in the center of Merida. You could walk to restaurants and nearby plazas from the hotel. The only thing i didnt like is that it is right next to a main road, and all the cars passing by gave me a hard time sleeping well at night. I got a triple bedroom , those are right in front facing the street. Other than that it was a comfy hotel.

The hotel feels a little sterile and old. During my stay the pool was empty (hopefully just for repairs). The room itself was tiny with no windows. Despite its small size they chose to furnish it with a king size bed which resulted in no room to move. Lastly, they had issues finding my reservation, although I am unsure if this was Expedia’s fault or the hotel’s.

All rooms are noisy from 2 sources. The interior patio with a gigantic echo and exterior busy street.

I stayed 2 nights and each night I found a cockroach the size of my index finger.

WIFI is extremely slow and unreliable.

Mediocre at best. You can easily find better in Merida and that's what I did.

This hotel was only good for price based on location and hotel staff. It is a short distance walk to the main strip. And the hotel staff tried to their best to meet our requirements.
The facilities itself was disappointing. Only one small bottle of water was provided to share per day. There was mould through the bathroom. The shower leaked and was inconsistent with warmth and pressure. But the biggest inconvenience was the position of the toilet. Itis awkwardly placed. When you sit, your knees touch the wall. I'm a very short person. It made it uncomfortable to use.

We rented two rooms at the flamingo. Our room was decent for the first nice and clean but then an awful gassy smell started coming from the drains. We had to close the bathroom door and put a towel under it to stop the smell from coming into the bedroom.
My sisters initial room was extremely small. Could barely fit two beds in in and had a very small window to the hall. But asked to move rooms when they smelt the gassy smell again.
They switched rooms and got a decent one. The front desk people were not very accommodating and some couldn’t speak English.
Overall it’s good for $40 a night and it was clean. But I would rather pay more and get something a little nicer. Also the street traffic noise was really bad and made it hard to get a good nights sleep.

The facilities are updated, clean and modern. No frills, basic hotel. The hotel staff members were very helpful and courteous. The rooms face inward towards the pool, so the only complaint was the noise from incoming guests throughout the night. Amazing location. Overall, a great experience for the price. Would definitely stay here again. Great for travelers and vacationers.

The hotel is pretty new as shown in the pictures however the structure of the hotel makes it extremely noisy -, especially at night. We litererally had to ask people to speak softer in the aisle as we were trying to get sleep and we could hear everything that happened outside. Also they seem to have an issue with the pipes as our bathroom had a really bad smell in the mornings as the water was still.

First room they gave us was so small that we could barely move in it. They gave us another decent size room on 1st floor facing the sidewalk and street with floor to ceiling windows (even in the bathroom). So we were not able to open the blinds at all. Bathroom had pedestal sink and no shelf or countertop to put anything. No electrical outlet in b/r. We were given only 2 towels for 4 people and when i asked for an extra 2, i was told children were not entitled to towels so they wouldnt give them to me. No long distance or international collect calls from anywhere in the hotel. Right next to the road kept us up all night from the people walking by and loud trucks. We ended up changing hotels after a few days.

The people at the desk were so great. They helped us with everything we needed. This hotel is very clean & beds are comfy. No elevator (out of service) but they helped us with luggage to the third floor. It is in a convenient location between the grand plaza & the area of old mansions & also close to the Mercado. Loved it & would stay again.

This hotel is really well-located, right in the centre of Merida. It's clear that it's recently been refurbished, but the job isn't 100% done -- we were a bit put off by the sight of debris, old furniture and packaging piled up inside the windows as we approached! The receptionists were friendly and polite, the bed was HUGE and comfortable enough, it was clean and the shower was really good, but there were several problems. First and foremost, the toilet is so close to the wall in front that it's actually not possible to sit on it unless you sit sideways! The room is noisy, which is somewhat expected when staying in a city centre, but double glazing would help. The room is advertised as having satellite tv, but they've not connected it, so you just get a handful of fuzzy channels. The wifi didn't reach our room at all. And there's no fan in the room, so it's either freezing cold air conditioning (which I know some people like!) or boiling hot. Finally, we asked for some extra pillows as we just had three very flat pillows between two people, but were told it wasn't possible - and we'd walked past countless empty rooms in the corridor, so it wouldn't have been too hard to arrange. I don't normally complain about low-cost hotels, but there are plenty of better options in Merida for the same price or lower.

I do not recommend this hotel. The pros are clean room and clean sheets. The cons are very noise. Not only the horn beeping from the street, but also the noise from the hallway and stairwell; all hours of the night. Also, the room does not have any chairs, tables, desks, nightstands or any counter space. There is no place to put your stuff other than your suitcase or the floor. Same for the bathroom. Plus the lighting in the bathroom is very poor.

Llegue pague por lo solicitado, no me dieron la habitación con los servicios que dice en la descripción, fui con el de recepción y se porto de lo más nefasto para responder a mis solicitudes, primero me dijo que checara que tipo de habitación había solicitado y que no decía nada de los servicios que pedía, entre a la página de hoteles.com, y cual fue su sorpresa del recepcionista que lo que pedí ahí lo decía, busco la manera de evadir lo que le había dicho, al siguiente dia salí temprano y pedí que checaran mi solicitud de lo que requería, quedaron de atender mi solicitud en breve, regreso y nada, todo seguía igual, me voy a bañar y seguía esperando al de mantenimiento como lo dijo la chica de recepción, salgo nuevamente y me dicen que no había llegado el de mantenimiento, en eso sale otra persona, creo era la encargada, y a tanto me dio otra habitación, pues salgo a la calle y cuando regreso en la noche el clima no enfriaba bien la habitación, he ido varias veces a Mérida y de todas las visitas a hoteles jamás me habían tratado de esa forma, pero sobre todo una mentira tras otra, lastima de hotel.

Un detalle al inicio y otro al final, ya nos hemos hospedado en el hotel y por primera vez se nos bego la cortesía de un baño momentaneo.luego al regresar la sorpresa qué nos entregaron la habitación antes de las 3pm.y fue bueno ya que teníamos cita a las 3.30pm,la habitación ,televisión smart y wifi Ok.el detalle con el baño hay qué probarlo antes de instalarse que sea funcional todos los servicios. Lamentable te hacen firmar un aviso y reglamento, Pero no todos haxen caso,y peor No hacen nada por la tranquilidad del resto de los huespedes. Espero tomen en cuenta este detalle y agradezco la toma de mi petición cuando llegue.

Habia leido comentarios sobre cucharachas y falta de limpieza en el hotel, sin embargo decidimos darle una oportunidad, de cualquier forma estaríamos solo una noche.

Para mi sorpresa, al entrar al cuarto, lo primero que hice fue entrar al baño y lo primero que vi fue una cucharacha pequeña. De igual forma una de las almohadas tenia una pequeña mancha de lo que parecia ser sangre.

El hotel no es malo, si mejoraran la limpieza podrian tener un gran producto

Hay que capacitar más al personal sobre el trato al cliente, son muy fríos, creo que aún no entienden en el rubro en el que trabajan, el personal nocturno acostado en el sofá del lobby, le das las buenas noches y ni en cuenta por estar con los audífonos y el celular, no hay personal en las tardes que pueda resolver los problemas que se presenten, las habitaciones son de tabla roca, lo que permite que el escándalo de los huéspedes de alado llegue a la habitación No había servicio de TV en la habitación, para llegar a dormir a bajo precio está bien

La habitación estan muy bien, pero le falta un poco de mantenimiento, estuve en la habitación 302 ( problema con la regadera) y 305 ( problema con la puerta del baño). Por lo general todo bien.

La habitación estaba muy limpia, la cama y las almohadas muy cómodas, me encantó que en la regadera no tuvimos tema con el agua caliente, no demoró mucho en salir y la ducha funcionaba súper bien!
Tienen pantallas actuales (lo cual se agradece demasiado), las lámparas de noche están muy lindas y sirven súper bien, lo único raro para nosotros es que el aparador de la luz del baño está en la parte de afuera, no está mal pero está raro.
Solo fuimos una noche pero la habitación sin duda alguna fue un 10, solo porque no tienen secadora de cabello, con eso hubiera sido un 100

La ubicación está muy bien pero A CONSIDERAR para los que llevan auto:
el hotel “tiene” estacionamiento (porque está a 3/4 calles del hotel) y tiene varias cosas negativas, inicialmente te retienen $250 pesos (que te regresan al hacer check out) porque te dan una “llave” que muestras en el estacionamiento para que no te lo cobren, desafortunadamente nosotros NO pudimos hacer uso del estacionamiento ya que Jueves, Viernes, Sábado y Domingo, cierran la calle que te lleva hacia dicho estacionamiento, por lo que si te pasa como a nosotros, no sabes de esta información y tienes que dejar tu auto frente al hotel (no es queja porque bien pudieron lavarse las manos y dejarnos a nuestra suerte) pero si nosotros hubiéramos sabido de este cierre de calles, hubiéramos resguardado nuestro auto antes del cierre de vialidades, ya que las calles del centro son muy angostas y queda bastante expuesto (era una camioneta).
